Realisticly, it's who will win! Angle will win, and should win, imo, but Steiner may cheat to win, cause I don't thing he's won a match cleanly in years.

-- It was reported around a few days ago that TNA are about ready to split from the NWA and hand back the NWA titles forcing TNA to create their own.

Meetings have taken place and the main reason for this happening is because TNA broke fundamental NWA rules. TNA failed to inform the NWA in advance when a title change was to happen and they refused to use the NWA name in marketing.

It is possible that TNA will make the change in a storyline but it is just as likely that they'll make an announcement and have some kind of title ceremony for the new belts.

Originally Jerry Jarrett used the NWA as a form of promotion which added prestige to the company but as TNA grew they became more interested in their own endeavors.

I want Scott Steiner to win, and that's how I would book it. They would then have a ppv rematch, which Angle would win.
My prediction is that Angle will win tonight, though.

Either way....I smell a rematch in the future myself.

The good thing about TNA, is that since it doesn't make sense most of the time, it's quite unpredictable. For instance, it wouldn't make any sense for Samoa Joe to win the world title tonight, but it will most likely happen because of that very same reason. Here's hoping Cage retains though. Right now, the only person Cage should drop the title to is Kurt Angle.

Now with the results of last night's show, I have to call this into question. And I agree with Zent that Angle should get the title, but it still would've been nice to see Cage defeated last night.

Just got back from watching the pay per view. I stopped myself from checking out the spoilers so Bammer could download the show and we could all watch it spoiler-free at his house.
Anyways, I really only watched the show for the double main event: Angle vs Steiner and Cage vs Joe.
But we still saw some other parts of the show. All the Cage segments were pretty good, especially the one with Steiner and the one with Muta. ''Can you believe this guy? He's actually trying to get his own life'' referring to Tomko. Awesome stuff, Instant Classic.
Sabin vs Jerry Lynn was fairly ok. It was funny to see the fans all looking at the brawl in the crowd instead of the match.
Austin Starr vs Senshi was good, better than the X title match but not all that great anyway.
Rhino vs AJ could've been way better, but really, with such an insane gimmick, I'm just glad nobody got seriously hurt.
Steiner vs Angle was awesome for me! I loved it, though it had it's downsides. That Olympic Driver Steiner hit on Angle was insane, it looked like Angle got killed. The finish was very fucked up, unfortunately. Steiner held on to the ropes for ages before letting go and getting pinned with the sunset flip ''powerbomb''.
Cage vs Joe was nice, and it was great seeing all those false finishes. Me and Bammer were exploding with mark-out moments and we loved it that Cage retained!

Also something that I wanted to talk about regarding the ppv, the most insanely bad booking moment came when Alex Shelley interfered on behalf of LAX. What the fuck...?! Makes no sense whatsoever. Even more senseless than the ridiculous signing of the heart throbs. What the fuck are they doing?
