-- There is a 90-day no compete clause preventing Christy Hemme from working with any other wrestling company for the next 90 days. However, it’s likely she will show up in TNA or continue wrestling in some form as she had been training hard and really wants to succeed in wrestling now. Before being fired, she was liked by both Trish Stratus and Victoria for her hard work ethic and desire to improve.

-- The Chicago Sun is reporting that Chyna could be on her way back to WWE sometime. Aside from this, there hasn’t been any news of Chyna returning going around lately.

-- The Chicago Sun is also reporting that Charlie Hass, husband of Jackie Gayda, will be making his debut in TNA soon.

Man what the fuck was the point of the diva search and/or tough enough. Everyone who ever won those comps are gone now...except Ashley and I bet she will be gone in a year or two.

Leave it to management to let one of the few "divas" who wanted to improve her wrestling skills go. Oh well, I just hope they'll get rid of those who really aren't talented and have no will to improve soon.

I'm probably alone here, by the looks of the replies here, but I really don't care much for TNA. While I feel there are at least equal, if not more, talented individuals in TNA than WWE the show just fails to entertain me. Half of the enjoyment is actually from the storylines and personalities of the characters... and I just don't care much about the actual characters in TNA outside of the ring. Though WWE is clearly nowhere near their past levels, I still feel they have better "entertainers". Since we all know wrestling is just staged anyway, the entertainment portion of the shows are very important in my opinion.

I used to feel that way when I first started watching TNA. The reality was yah the wrestlers had no personalities... they were unknowns to me. Once I started watching and getting to know some of the characters I was able to get into it a little more. Still I understand what your saying...even when you do get to know the characters a little more you can still see the limits of what TNA can do and it's obvious they don't have the same overall quality of show.

I enjoy a good storyline as much as the next wrestling fan, but TNA's got far superior in ring performances and honestly that's way up there on my list of why I watch wrestling. Lately, the WWE just seems super sloppy. I see far to many in ring fuck up's that it ruins everything for me (I like it to look somewhat real even though I know it's fake). I'd encourage anyone who doesn't really like TNA to watch it for about a month to get to know some of the wrestlers. They might appretiate it a little more afterwards.

TNA's matches suck so bad. Every once in a while you get an awesome match, from guys like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Matt Bentley (with the right opponent), Chris Sabin, Monty Brown and obviously I expect Christian to give us some awesome matches, but mostly, TNA's matches truly suck ass. They have zero thought put into it. Everybody does a suicide dive two minutes into the match, you see standing corkscrew splashes out of nowhere at the most inapropriate times. The Lionsault is another X Division trademark, and I'm sorry but I still haven't completely rubbed off my memory of the fatal four way X division match I saw on impact. A fatal four way elimination bout pitting Jeff Hardy, Elix Skipper, Eric Young and then X Champion Christopher Daniels in a none title match. Jeff Hardy did a suicide sommersault like, two minutes into the match and then got eliminated by Abyss who kicked his ass and brawled with him backstage. After that, it was insanely stupid. So retarded I honestly thought for a second TNA was pulling a joke on us or something. Daniels just stood in the ring while Eric Young and Elix Skipper were on the outside, beaten up, and everytime one of them tried to come into the ring by climbing the apron, Daniels would run to him and knock him back down. This went on for most of the match, I think it was a 15 minute or 20 minute time limited match, and I was so disapointed that most of the match was such a piece of retarded wrestling. Finally, Eric Young got in, got his ass kicked and was eliminated by Elix Skipper. Then, in the last minute of the match, Skipper got Daniels in a small package for the three count. Or was it? I honestly don't know who won that match; Skipper got the cradle and the two count but the third count went after the bell rang. However, his hand was raised by a ref. The anouncer was calling it a draw though. It was so stupid. TNA really has no better quality matches IMO; I'd rather see Sylvan vs. Hardcore Holly than Lance Hoyt vs. Kevin Nash.

Oh come on don't pull that! You know what I mean. I'm tired of seeing missed punches and then seeing someone sell those mised punches making it even more obvious. It just takes me right out of it. I don't know about everyone else but I get into the matches and when I see a huge mess up it just takes me right out of it and ruins my enjoyment. It wasn't always this bad I remember watching the WWE a few years ago and you were lucky to see any mess ups back then. It just seems to me that the quality of the wrestling in the WWE has gone down hill (Not to mention banning of certain high risk moves). Seems no one agrees with me though so maybe It's just me.

Of course they are. For instance, Cena's F-U was orginally a death valley driver, then the WWE changed it into a modified powerslam. I suppose WWE figured that would be a lot of necks being injured.

Yeah I know I was sort of joking there but fuck ups are bound to happen. When the other guys sells a botched move it does look retarded (as in Linda McMahon doing the worst sell on a stunner ever).

Well, as was said, TNA has its own flaws in how matches are done as well. High risk maneuvers can be overused just as well as being underused... it gets old and predictable when you have guys doing a suicide dive like a few minutes into the match. Botched moves are just a part of pro wrestling... there are still a lot of great stars in the WWE you will rarely see botch moves. It's just that WWE is forcefully pushing this "newer" generation of stars on us while veteran stars are still quite capable of performing just as good as they have in the past. HBK is like 40 now, and in my opinion he's still one of the best with definite championship material still there.

Anyway, that doesn't mean I agree with WWE's decision on banning certain high risk moves... after all, that all but destroys the luster of the Cruiserweight division, something the WWE apparently doesn't know how to market. It was one of the main reasons, if not the only reason, I remember watching WCW during the latter days of its life. Having nearly all the cruiserweights "exclusive" to Smackdown is also a bit lame... and you never see a title defense on the PPV's anymore. Most of the cruiserweights are well versed in high risk maneuvers, so I feel they should be allowed to continue doing them.

Yah I know fuck ups are bound to happen...but when you can't count the amount of fuck ups in one match on your two hands you know its bad.

Also I agree with you ~Crow~ the WWE has basically killed their Cruiserweight division not to mention the womens division. Seriously, who is the cruiserweight champion right now...and who the hell cares? No one does because they never get any TV time.

Since noone took the time to say this to you, WASSSUUUPPP! grin

Any way, to continue quite a good discussion (btw, congrats to me, over 6000 posts in this thread, and all the problems seem to be gone, for now), but I am getting to quite enjoy TNA! Over the last few weeks or so, their matches have been very entertaining. Now, I'll admit that 3 years ago when they first started, I was kinda thinking, that they would be another XWF or WWA, and not last long, cause all they ever did was push the vets, most of which I never did care to see wrestle again, cept for maybe Sting, but over the last little while, they've been better showcasing their own home-grown talent, while still pushing the more established stars, but the more established stars these days are not the Nashs, DDPs, or Savages (my god in heaven, I hope he never returns again!), but the Ravens, and Christians, guys that never got their chance in WWE, are getting their chance in TNA. I never would have thought Raven or Rhyno would where heavyweight gold, and now they are former TNA world champs. So I say to everyone, sure WWE is still allot better, but give TNA a chance, I have, and I've seen the light, and jumped on board their bandwagon.

As for WWE, sure they might have "banned" high-risk moves, but in case you all have been watching with your eyes closed, which, btw, makes me wonder if that's the case the way you guys talk on here, any way, it hasn't stopped everyone that did do high-risk moves, from occasionally pulling one or two of them off.

Here's a question for some of you, cause lately I've been curious: For how many years have you watched wrestling, and be honest, and don't include something like, "oh, I watched for 3 years, stopped, and now it's been 3 years", just tell me how many years uninterupted?

For me, it's been, I believe, about 13 or more years, nonstop. My first taste was Maple Leaf Wreslting, cause at the time, that's all we had in my area, some of my fellow canucks here might remember that.

People like Raven and Rhyno being pushed far isn't something new. If I remember correctly, both were top level stars in ECW... and as I said, the characters offered by TNA just aren't very appealing to me. This is likely not the wrestlers' fault at all, as I'm thinking TNA just has a poor creative department and/or writing teams. Until they can come up with enough likable characters, I'm just not going to be watching it very often.

As for length of time I've watched it... I only began watching it again, regularly, this year. Before that, I probably watched around 4-5 years before stopping for some time.

I just started watching it alot 3 or 4 years ago. Since then I've basically been a wrestling fanatic.

TNA doesnt really have enough time to do much everytime impact comes on due to the 1 hour limit. No using it as an excuse cause I know they could do alot better things, but im sure once they get a couple hours for impact it will improve alot.

dont complain about the overuse of high risk moves. its called "total nonstop action" for a reason. i seen some of the tna roster in other places before, the others i didnt have any problem accepting. i love wrestling, not the 2 hour crapfest that the wwe shows every week. a wrestler dont need an over the top gimmik or the perfect character for me to like them, if theyre good, thats all that matters.

tna is all about giving you the bang for your buck, and to give you the best wrestling show possible in 60 min time. they dont need flaming caskets or a supposed retard running around (eugene anyone?). tna is more traditional wrestling, wwe is "entertainment". while hhh is standing in the ring talking for 25 min on why hes that damn good, ii would have seen 2 (or maybe more) matches from tna.

its not even really fair to even compare the two as they are so different. if you wanna see some great in ring action and see someone actually wrestle, then watch tna. if you wanna see jerryspringer watch wwe.

I agree with Rabid_Wolverine. I think once they get a regular two hour spot then matches will be able to go a bit longer and it won't seem like they're trying to cram 20 high spots into 3 minutes. Also, when they start touring they'll be able to guage a proper reaction to the guys they're pushing and establish the heels and babyfaces better, because the "iMPACT Zone" crowd are just retarded beyond belief and screw everything up.
Dixie Carter says they've got something big up their sleeve which they'll be announcing at Turning Point so hopefully it's one of those two things.

I don't see what's wrong with a suicide dive two minutes into a match either. It happens pretty frequently in Japan - and quite a few of TNA's wrestlers have a strong Japanese background. The WWE way of wrestling isn't the only way of wrestling (but I can understand people being accustomed to it.) I DO see a problem with Elix Skipper and Sonjay Dutt blowing moves every 30 seconds because they're trying to be "athletic" by constantly doing springboard dragonrana's and 720 headscissors takeovers or whatever though. They just can't pull those moves off consistantly enough and it looks messy and stupid.

Dispite that, I still say say TNA has some of the best wrestlers in the US. Better than, or at least as good as Angle and Benoit, I think. I think some of them will even wind up in WWE someday if TNA doesn't become any sort of real competition for WWE. Shelley for example. He's going to be huge in 5 or 10 years time if he continues wrestling, be it in TNA or WWE. He's one of the guys in the next generation of Simon Dean/Nova's, Benoit's, and Jericho's.

Turning Point should be good anyway. I must say, I can't see Sabu actually winning his match against Abyss. He's the worlds most hardcore jobber. tongue

I was just roaming around wwe.com and went to check out Kane's video. Good thing they still have the vid of Kane chokeslamming Snitsky off the entrace way through some tables. I remember being there and just yelling "HOLY SHIT!" when I saw it. Then Kane gets up after that happens and just basically wobbles around the entrance ramp. He looked like he was hurting pretty bad, bleeding from the head alot. Still waiting for WWE to come to T.O. again.

Oh please... that's a total exaggeration. Triple H hasn't even said that much lately, and he's not even in the main events at the moment. He has never gone on for the period of time you are suggesting either... and unless I am mistaken Jeff Jarrett is just as bad asTriple H could ever be, if not worse. Not only that, but Jarrett is nowhere near the athlete Triple H is.

Well anyhow... I just feel that's a bit harsh. I may not like TNA, but at least I acknowledge the talented individuals they do have. To insult the WWE as you have insults people who are better than anyone TNA has such as Angle, Benoit, Benjamin, etc. These guys are actually great wrestlers and entertainers. There aren't that many "bad" in ring wrestlers in WWE. Even John Cena knows more than he lets on, it's simply the writers thinking we want to see some guy do the same crap over and over again.

As for TNA being "all about wrestling" or "old school"... I suppose they are, if you think of ECW as being old school. As I said earlier, the quality of matches go down when you can predict what people are going to do. That's why doing a suicide dive two minutes into the match is dumb; it's something that a lot of people there do and do a lot of.

I suppose we all have our preferences, but since TNA is just as staged as WWE is, I like to be entertained by a good storyline and likable characters. If two men are just rolling around in the ring for little or no reason, pretending to fight each other, it just fails to hold my attention.

Amen, bro! I've always thought that Jarrett is the "Triple H" of TNA, always has been from the moment the company started in 2002, until now. And I bet he'll never change. I think to that the only reason Vinnie Mac never brought Jarrett back when he bought WCW in 2001, is cause he couldn't stand any more guys with big egos!!

Shinnox, you been watching since 86? That's awesome, I wish I could've been old enough to have watched it then (I'm 22)! I think I started about 88 or 89, with Maple Leaf and Stampede, cause they were the only things available until WWF Saturday Night's Main Event, and WWF Superstars started airing. Those were the days!

Dusty Rhodes is rumored to be the new Raw GM! Taking an on-air role similar to what he had in TNA. Should be interesting.

I plan to watch Impact tonight and SD tomorrow.
