That thing about the TNA "surprise" is awesome.
And Tajiri leaving sucks. He was my favourite WWE wrestler after Regal. Absolutely gutted. Life goes on though, good luck to him and all that. I hope he hasn't retired for good. I imagine he'd be a pretty big draw back in Japan after spending a few years in WWE.
The match of the year that never was - Benoit/Tajiri "ECW rules" match on Raw. That should've ruled the public pool. Too bad it only went for 20 seconds.

I dunno if I buy that ....Triple H is a lot of things (belt hog being one of them) but you can't say that Jarrett is a better tech wrestler cause that's crap. Triple H has a pretty big move list and his execution is almost always flawless. He sometimes spends a lot of time on the mic but most of the time it's entertaining.

I agree. Saying that JJ is a better tech wrestler then HHH is bs. Jarrett isnt a bad wrestler, but HHH blows him out of the water.
And RE: Jarret vs Triple H - I think Jarrett is a better heel than Triple H. Not necessarily a better wrestler, but Triple H wishes he could get heel heat like Jarrett does. Of the people who know who Jarrett is, I think a lot less of those people would be inclined to say anything positive about him than they would Triple H. I think i've only ever met one other Jarrett fan. When was the last time Triple H caused such an uproar that it was unsafe for him to stand in the arena? That's legit, oldschool, Terry Funk type heat. Jarrett in Mexico had the people incredibly pissed off, far more than i've ever seen Triple H stir up a crowd (I think it was Mexico, anyway). I remember TNA even reported it as a "riot," which is a little exaggerated of course, but still, the video of that was pretty crazy stuff.
I think Triple H is a better wrestler overall, but when it comes to heel heat, it's hard to argue with hundreds of people cursing your name and hurling projectiles at you until you have to duck out of the arena.

In a way I'm sad to see Tajiri go cause he's one of my favorites, but after seeing him being relegated to so-so matches time after time when there would be a flicker of hope that they were going to give him a push, I'm glad he's going home. I'm sure they'll make better use of his skills there. At least Vince didn't ruin him like he did to Taka Michinoku. I bet you Tajiri will get a chance to contend for a title in a relatively short time, cause like you said, his time in WWE will make him an attractive draw.
But seeing Chris Kanyon on t.v. again will put a smile on my face.

Tajiri is the man. I like how he 'shot' on Bischoff on Raw in court. He was highly under-used. Best of luck to him.

They've got Stacy Kiebler on the front page of yahoo.com right now...the picture they have makes her look terrible.
Jarrett's heat can be crazy sometimes. Hes caused a few riots just for showing up. The one in Mexico all he did was come out and people were throwing shit at him,so he threw taco's back at them.
I used to like Kanyon when I first started watching wrestling. Unfortunately I only got to see him on velocity and smackdown every once and a while. I loved how he could do moves from so many different positions. One of the ones I remember seeing is him superplexing someone from the ropes,no turnbuckle. Was really cool to see at the time.
Tajiri is awesome, but its better for him to leave I think. He has been going no where fast in WWE. If he goes back to Japan to wrestle it will be good for him,or he may just retire.
Whats up Grandpa wrestling?

LOL! That's what I call a hardcore fan! I'm hardcore, but I ain't got nothing on Blade!
As for the debate of who the better heel is, Jarrett or Triple H, I'd say that Jarrett is, much more experience than Trips, and is a better entertainer on the mic, plus, he's had longer runs as a heel than a face, Trips has been both more times than just about anyone. Plus, I have more respect for Jarrett than I do Trips, and no it's got nothing to do with whether Trips is a heel or a face, he's lost allot of integrity as a human being!

-- 1Wrestling.com reports that Diamond Dallas Page recently filed a federal lawsuit against rapper and president of Def Jam records Jay-Z for trademark infringement. The "Diamond Cutter" hand symbol has been being used by Jay-Z on some of his products some including CD covers entitled "The Dynasty: Rock La Familia 2000" and "Jay-Z Fade To Black" DVD, which was released this past April.
When Dallas Page was in WCW back in 1996, he was first using the hand signal. Since that time he has been using it professionally for his wrestling and entertainment ventures. On the cover of Page's new book, "Yoga For Regular Guys" it also features the symbol. The hand symbol is kind of like a logo to him, hence the lawsuit.
The hand symbol has also been somewhat of a logo for Rocafella records, co-founded by Jay Z. 1996 was also the year that Jay released what many think of as his best album ever, Reasonable Doubt.
It's likely that the symbol was first seen being used by DDP on TV. Jay Z is a friend of Def Jam recording artist Method Man, who is a huge wrestling fan and was even on the cover of a WWE managazine with John Cena once.

Wrestler Diamond Dallas Page has filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z for unlawful use of his "Diamond Cutter" hand signal.
Page, born Page Falkinburg, filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Federal Court, claiming he trademarked the rights to the diamond-shaped symbol in 1996 and has used it for wrestling and other entertainment ventures on multiple occasions.
Page contends that Jay-Z started using the diamond symbol years after on various commercial products, including the cover of Dynasty: Roc La Familia 2000 and Fade to Black.
Hip-hop fans are aware that the Def Jam President has used the diamond sign to signify his Roc-A-Fella Records dynasty.
According to Page, he introduced the "Diamond Cutter" symbol in 1996 on WCW's weekly Nitro and Thunder programs.
The wrestler, who uses the sign on the cover of his new book "Yoga for Regular Guys," also says he used the symbol on monthly PPV events, WCW live events, and media appearances, including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Representatives for Jay-Z or Roc-A-Fella were not immediately available for comment.

Sting is returning!!!
There were rumors that Sting may join WWE for a match at WrestleMania 22 but those may be put to rest this Sunday as it is exptected that TNA will announce the signing and return of Sting who has not wrestled on a frequent basis since WCW was purchased by WWE.
He is expected to be the highest paid wrestler on the roster and the centerpiece of the organization over the next year.

Heh, actually it's been over 20 years, but I don't know an exact figure. I'm 26, been watching wrestling since I was a toddler with my brother (don't know why we LOVED it, nobody in my family really cares for it, other then my uncle). Naturally, this explains my love for WWF/WWE and hatred for WCW.
I dug ECW a shit load though, probably cause it was local and really inovative. And you throw tremendous talent into the mix, and well you got something special, really special. Not a fucking thing. I was 8 rows behind Foley flying off Hell in a cell. I was at the Pillman Memorial and saw D-Lo Brown get DESTROYED on a botched table shot by (then) Roadd Dogg Jesse James of DX fame. I was 6 rows back for Warrior/Hogan vs Tugboat/Bossman. I have had my head-licked by a Bushwhacker and a piece of the Honkey Tonks Mans guitar (busted on Honkey himself, courtesy of Hercules) in my mom's china closet. And I can tell you, NOTHING beats an ECW house show.
As for Jarrett vs HHH, I go with HHH. Jarrett, to me, is more annoying then 'heel-ish', and HHH is a bastard but he does it with great mic skills and awesome in ring performances. Don't get it twisted, Jarrett is a good wrestler, but HHH owns him imo. Plus that sledgehammer, that fucking sledge, has made me and millions of other people literally frustrated, and that is the hallmark of a tremendous heel.

You can find the Sting news on most any wrestling news site. It appears he won't actually "be" there, however. They are just planning it to announce it at some point during Turning Point or whatever. There are also some alledged pictures of his new look going around, but I haven't been able to find them yet.
No offense to Sting fans... because I too was a big fan during his WCW days... but is this really a good move? Sting hasn't been active for nearly 5 years or so now, and he's around 45-46 years old. I know a lot of wrestlers are able to go that long (or longer, Flair) and still be great entertainers and performers... but being out of action for so long has had to take a toll on him.

Sting is an elderly man.
If he makes a comeback, I hope it's as the old "surfer" Sting, and not with his Crow gimmick. The Crow thing was cool, but that was then. That era is over now and I think that gimmick is done too. "Surfer" Sting would be somewhat fresh and something new to a lot of the younger folk.

Crow > WTF ever that other gimmick was.
As said, with his age, it'd be better to pull out the black and white. You could actually do some character tweaking to take advantage of his age, too. I just don't want to see the TNA staples get put on the back seat after all their work to get TNA's name out.
Edit: Spikes VG awards is an utter piece of shit! I can't believe I wasted thirty seconds of my life on that garbage. :vomits:
