I'm really at a loss of words about Eddie. It's very sad, I was literally shaking when I first read the news. I can only imagine what his family and friends are going through right now.

This is unbelievable...when I first read this I thought...more like hoped it was a stupid joke. Ive seen Eddie a few times at live shows, and just watched it wrestle Thursday. Hes always been one of my favourites, and I and im sure everyone else will miss him. He was one of the greatest entertainers and wrestlers today.
R.I.P. Eddie Geurrero, you will be missed, but never forgotten.

We love you big man, we love you. God bless you and your family.

You know,im not really sure if Eddie's death has completely sunk in with me. I havent found myself really that sad other then was I first found out, which made me break out in tears. Im probably going to be buying his DVD "Cheating death, stealing life" in a week or so,I feel like I sort of need to.
On a more positive note,I just got finished watching TNA Genesis. I wasnt planning on getting it this morning but I did after a while. I loved the show,it was dedicated to Eddie Geurerro which was nice to see. Alot of mentions for him.
Christian (Cage's) arrival was awesome. I was sorta confused at first because the music hit there was a Y2J style countdown. But when he came out wow,the crowd was going crazy. One of the loudest ovations ive heard from the TNA crowd. At the end of the night he came out and cleared the ring when Team 3D was getting beat down, but tore off his shirt to reveal a Team Canada shirt under it. He hugged Scott D'more then gave his ass an unprettier.
Awesome matches the whole night, great PPV IMO.

Yeah, it's all really sad. And he's only 38...
Anyway, maybe we should look into it and find out why he died.
We'll know Monday about the cause of death... not that it really matters much. I had recently began to watch wrestling again for the first time since I was a younger child. He was one of my favourite personalites and performers... really depressing to me to learn of this. I too have a hard time accepting that this is a really true...

Wow I found out right when I got home, Im still in shock. Eddie freakin Guerrero passed away. I always loved his performances, so many golden moments, whether he was a face or a heel. Man he will definately be missed, the WWE won't be the same with Guerrero
Eddie has his own thread so I won't say much about it here, but Jesus, this is aweful. I can't imagine who's going to carry Smackdown now.
Anyway, I just got done watching Genesis. It was great. Everything was. From Christian's Jericho-esque arrival to the brutal Abyss/Sabu match, to the 8 man X Division tag match. The black hole slam on the barbedwire and chokeslam on the tacks were nasty. Sabu is just a machine.
Justin Credible was unexpected, though his match was kinda average.
It's hard to believe Christian is on TNA. I wonder if that's going to inspire any other WWE workers to head that way too. Things really look to be heating up for TNA right now. I hope we get that Monday Night War again within then next couple of years.

I just found out about a hour ago, (It's 1:10 a.m.here in Texas), and I'm still Shock about what happen. I thought it was some kind of stupid Storyline.
The last match I seen Eddie was at No Mercy. I said this even before I knew his Death, His match at No Mercy was one of the best Matches this year, at least top Ten this year so far! So I'm Honor to see Eddie in at a PPV match, I just wish it wasn't his last!!!!!!
So THANK YOU Eddie for all the Glory Years, You are The Real Deal!!!!!

I finished watching the replay of Genesis a little while ago. I wasn't totally into it because of of the lose of Eddie, but I still enjoyed the PPV.
I was glad to see Justin Credible in TNA (although I'm not too fond of him having to wrestle under PJ Polaco, even though it's his real name). Granted, the match was somewhat of a disapointment, but it seemed like Raven just wasn't into it. Besides that here are some of the highlights that stood out:
-Christian Cage's debut. We all pretty much knew he was going to show up, but it was still really cool. His entrance was done is almost a mirror image to Jericho's debut in WWE (the arena went dark, there was a countdown and a video similar to Jericho's titantron of a camera buzzing through streets and highways, and then the lights came on with Christian with his back facing the camera). Christian goes on to rag on HHH by saying "I didn't come here to see the same guy say the same damn thing, week after week after week." And then moves onto Vince with "And I didn't come here to see a grown man, dressed up like a doctor, pulling things out of another man's ass!" And in one final insult to WWE he goes on to state that "When I broke onto the national wrestling scene 8 years ago there were two companies. One was old, stale, and lacking direction. The other was the one I was a part of. It was young hungry and cutting edge. Fast foward 8 years to this very moment, and there are still two companies. One is old, boring and lacking direction, and the other one is TNA!"
-The 8 man elimination tag match. Wow, match of the night! I kind of had a feeling the team of Daniels and Samoa Joe would win, but the way it ended was brutal. After Daniels pinned Chris Sabin, Samoa Joe felt Daniels stole Joe's thunder so Joe went berserk and attacked Daniels. First he kicked him to the outside and followed it up by busting him open with a chair. Then it went back into the ring with Joe giving Daniels two muscle busters, the second on a chair. I'm not exactly sure if Daniels is going to be the face out of this, but it sure looked that way.
-AJ vs Petey Williams was really good up until the end. The match was pretty much back and forth but Samoa Joe came out to stare down AJ and then AJ just hit the Styles Clash on Williams like nothing from the second rope. The best spot out of this match was either Daniel suicide flip over the ropes and into the crowd, or Williams german suplexing AJ off the apron into the guardrail.
-the main event actually wasn't half bad. I thought it was going to be a boring six man tag, but that never happened. Eveyone paired off and fought throughout the entire Impact Zone.
There was a lot more, but those stood out more than anything else.

TNA fans suck. While all this was happening and Joe was beating the hell out of a defenceless guy, they were cheering Joe - what the hell? : \
How could they have made it any more obvious that they wanted the fans to boo him because it was a heel turn? TNA fans are always doing crap like that, it just messes everything up. They need to get out of Orlando.

At first I didn't believe it when I first heard it last night. then I went on the net and read for myself. I still find it hard to believe.
Its a shame, someone who worked so hard to clean up his act only to have his life cut short after being sober for 4 years.

Yeah, I'm shocked by it as well! I am at a loss for words. He was an incredible wrestler, very entertaining and:
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Like Vince said in his speech to the crowd at last night's tv tapings, whether you loved him or hated him, cheered or booed him, you always had to admit that he was a hell of a wrestler. Last night's tapings of Raw and Smackdown were tribute shows done for Eddie. Interpromotional matches and video tributes

TNA Genesis was a good ppv. I thought it was better than last month's show.

I'm probably going to skip class tonight so I can watch the tribute. Just show up, turn in my work and then leave.
Is there a link to Tests message?
Anyway, I do think our wrestlers work WAY to hard and are under WAY to much stress. There needs to be a much more forgiving road and travel schedule.

Wow that was a really good read on Test's site(minus some spelling errors). He brings up really good points and he is right when he says who's next? Who is the next Eddie Guerrero/British Bulldog/Mr Perfect/Yokozuna/Big Bossman, etc.

Yeah Raw and SMackdown are both having interpromotional matches, they are even having both Tag Team Champions face each other, but nontheless it will probably be the most emotional RAW and Smackdown ever.
