**Christian Signs With TNA Wrestling, Will Debut Sunday At Gensis**
TNA Wrestling issued a press release this afternoon regarding the "major acquisition" of a superstar who has jumped ship from WWE. TNA President Dixie Carter was quoted, "This is the single biggest jump in TNA history .. The contract is signed, the travel is set and in my opinion, 'Genesis' just got a whole lot more intriguing."
Several reliable sources have confirmed that this "major acquisition" is none other than former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Champion, Jay "Christian" Reso.
Reso's WWE contract expired last week and he decided not to resign with the company after 8 years of service. There were reports that WWE had offered him a new contract that was considerably lower than what he had previously been earning. There was speculation that Christian would be subject to a 90-day no-compete clause. The speculation has proven to be false, as the 90-day no-compete clauses are reserved for wrestlers who are released from their contract before its expiration.
Reso will be appearing at this Sunday's TNA PPV, Genesis. At this time, it is unknown what his ring-name will be. Although Reso wrestled in Canada as "Christian Cage" long before working for Vince McMahon, WWE owns the trademark "Christian". Reso could take WWE to court and claim he owns the rights to the name "Christian" (both The Honky Tonk Man and The Ultimate Warrior had similar cases - and won), but TNA does not want any more legal troubles with WWE and it appears a new ring-name is being worked on for his debut on Sunday night.
What did anyone think of Raw last night? I thought it was ok.
I caught the TNA two-hour show from last Thursday, last night, and it was pretty good, looking forward to their next one.

Right fucking-on!~ I've always been a Christian fan and I'm glad he has signed with TNA. Hopefully, they utilize him more then the WWE did.

Anyone else think they are holding that Raw Survivor Series spot in hopes of Stone Cold's return?

What's up with Stone Cold anyway? What happend with his match at Taboo tuesday? Why did they change it to Batista vs the clown squad?
Grrr, this is what I hate about internet wrestling "news" sites.
Specific mention of Christian.
The official statement about TNA's aquisition, with ZERO mention of Christian at all.
The same reliable sources that said Torrie was fired? It's still just rumours and speculation, probably from other news sites. In other words, they don't really know if it's true or not, but they're all falling over themselves to be the first one's to release the breaking "news," making out like it's a fact when really nothing is confirmed.
What the fuck? They don't even know who it is yet, but these guys are already confirming Christian for the upcoming pay per view? I know TNA said that their aquisition will be making an appearance at that pay per view, but again, these guys don't even know it's going to be Christian, just like the rest of us. I didn't hear TNA confiming him, or anybody else by name for that matter.
That's just straight up bullshit. Again, TNA hasn't even confirmed it's Christian yet, and these guys don't know themselves because they''ve only heard rumours.
I know it probably is him, but still, it could be anybody. These guys don't know either, they're just making shit up and telling everybody it's a fact. It could be somebody from New Japan - they might've acually signed Liger to a long term contract or something, who knows. I'm not getting my hopes up because some unreliable internet site editor heard from a guy who heard from a guy who heard from a guy that it might be true. Wait and see.
I hope it is him though.
Edit: Well I guess it's confimed now.

Of course they will; he'll probably win some major title in a few weeks and then everyone will start getting tired of him just like what always happens with any of the Hardys whenever they return from somewhere. Which is a shame in Christian's case.

There's a glitch in the forum code... you have to post a few times to get the next page to show up.
I want Smackdown vs Raw 2006 but I don't have the money to get it...so I probably wont be playing it for a little while.

No, it doesn't seem to be happening soon. He was set to come back around January but the WWE probably offered him a low wage since they're having less revenues and are basicly cutting everybody's wage off and he apparently declined the contract offer.
RAW VS SmackDown! 2006 is coming out November 18th here... I'm planning on getting it by then, my RAW VS SmackDown! disc stopped working so I'm left with Here Comes The Pain (which outdated roster annoys me)... damn

Niko, Stone Cold was supposed to lose to Coach at Taboo Tuesday (supposedly Mark Henry was going to return and help Coach). Basically, Stone Cold said 'Fuck you, Vince!' and walked out. Hasn't been back since. Shame too, because the promo's he was cutting was vintage fucking Austin.
The whole 'Austin was in an accident' is just something Vince thought of on the fly, probably in hopes of a quick resolution.
Wow, if you read Smackdown spoilers, you will know someone MAJOR got fucking owned and will be missing time due to surgery.

You remember when Y2J did this just after he was 'fired'? Looks like hes doing it again. Its just his way of messing with TNA fans. It would be cool though.
Sweet! Just looked at wwe.com and the have a pole for which Mr Kennedy shirt they should make. I voted for the bottom left, definately getting any of them though. I really like how they are letting the fans decide which shirts should be made.

Batista got injured at the SD tapings Tuesday, and it's an injury to his back, he is expected to make a decision on what he will do for treatment, on the weekend. Hopefully he'll opt for rehab and maybe get surgery after SS!

Read an interesting article on sescops, apparentlly Vince is pissed at Coach and Lawler for all the little screw ups they made during Raw:
**Vince McMahon Furious With The Coach & Jerry Lawler:**
-- Vince McMahon is said to furious with the recent on-air mistakes made by Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jonathan Coachman. The mistakes have been both factual errors as well as saying things that go against storylines and the concepts WWE writers are trying to get across.
This past week on RAW, Jonathan Coachman pointed out that the crowd was chanting for Kurt Angle instead of John Cena. After being corrected by Vince in his headset, Jerry Lawler had to correct The Coach by saying people were chanting for Cena too.
Also this week, Jerry Lawler stated that this year's Survivor Series would be the 27th anniversary of the event. The Coach corrected Lawler, making fun of him for not knowing when one of WWE's biggest annual events began and assured fans that it was the 21st anniversary. The Coach later corrected himself again and gave the real information - that this year's show is the 19th anniversary (1987 was the first show).
Additionally, when Jerry Lawler said that Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart went 60 minutes at WrestleMania 12, Vince reminded the King that the Ironman Match from WM12 went into overtime and beyond 60 minutes.
The RAW announce team has been shaky since Jim Ross was removed earlier this month. This week we saw Joey Styles join the team, but it became pretty clear by the end of the show that 3 is a crowd. While Jerry Lawler's position is the safest of them all, it should be interesting to see who gets removed first - Joey Styles or The Coach.
**I like Joey so I hope it's Coach that gets removed! He sucks!**

That's funny I wasn't paying that much attention to what they were saying but I remember them spewing out all kinds of numbers for SS, and thinking man they are on crack tonight. I remember a couple weeks ago Edge speared someone and Coach was yelling out "Gore Gore Gore..." then The King says "That's called a Spear." and Coach is like "Oh yah Spear Spear Spear." That was the best fuck up I had heard in a while.
http://www.chrisjericho.com/images/TNAGenesis.jpg interesting. Probably Jericho pulling our crank, though.

Just saw Taboo Tuesday and noticed this guy they brought in, Goldust. I'd never seen him before and I though his entrance and pose were really cool, almost looks like some sort of comic book villain attitude in that segment backstage with The Coach and Vader or something like that. Was he any good in the ring at all or it's really just the character that looks cool adn the rest sucks?

Goldust has been around for quite a while. The WWE dropped him last year and now apparently he is back yet again. He's mostly a comical type character. One of his finishing moves is called Shattered Dreams... he puts the guy in the corner of the ring puts the guys legs up behind the bottom ropes and kicks him in the nutts. He's got decent in ring ability and mic skills. Not really a favorite of mine tho.
Yeah, Goldust has been around for years, in and out of WWE. His gimmick is pretty much that of a perveted guy that WWE try to get over as gay/bisexual (you know how good ol' Vince McMahon loves to make fun of minorities), and he does/used to do things like crossdress and kiss the guy he was fighting mid-match.
As for Jericho, haha, I guess he can do it now 'cause he's not under contract with Vince and he can't tell him to remove it. No secrect that he's good friends with Christian, so maybe he's just helping to hype the PPV speculation for his buddy's first appearance or something.
Edit: Jericho admitted in a recent interview that he loves TNA and watches it more than WWE. Right on.

My idea to bring Sting to WWE:
The HHH/Flair feud continues on lets say 3 more PPVs and we see HHH kicking Flair's butt in the last 2. The next Monday on RAW Flair heads to the ring all beaten up and gets the mic:
-Flair: "Hunter, we've beaten the living junk out of each other. We've been at war, we've fight like Gladiators. But I wanna' call you out HHH because this isn't over yet. Hunter, get your ass in this ring right now and face me one more time like a man."
HHH comes out and gets in the ring.
-HHH: "You see, Ric, I've beaten you so many times I lost count. You have nothing to prove. You're just a has-been, look at you. You're the past of this business. Step aside because now that I've beaten you, I've beaten everyone on that locker room and that makes me the present and future of this company."
-Flair: "HHH, my best friend has become my worst enemy but tonight and old enemy has become my friend. I want you to meet the only guy you've never beaten. The guy that gave me the best matches I've ever been involved. He was my worst enemy but tonight he's my friend, my ally and he's here to shut you up once and for all. Whoooooooooo!"
All of a sudden the lights go on and off, we hear thunder a "Seek and Destroy" plays.
Sting comes down to the ring from the rafters with his Baseball bat in hand.
HHH looks scared and amazed. He can't believe it.
Sting gets a mic and gets on HHH's face.
-Sting: "Whooo!"
HHH jumps back.
-Sting: "Hunter, I've seen what you've done, I've heard what you've said and lemme' tell you, I'm not impressed. You turned on your so called best friend. You attacked him when you should be looking up to him and that I cannot stand. The man you attacked is the man that made the Sting give the best of him in the best matches of the history of this business and helped Sting shine so I owe him and now you're gonna' pay. Whooo!"
The lights go off and when they get on HHH is on the mat laying down with the Baseball bat next to him but Flair and Sting are gone.

Blade-Tsung I know you liked it so I'll post another one later.
