This is why I love Kitana, Jade, Sheik, and Isabella Valentine.
They're all strong and powerful women who need not the desperate assistance of anyone.
Take notice on how I did not include Zelda with Sheik.

I have to make an informational video about women in video games and how they're portrayed in my women of psychology class... And I have a really funny scene about the boobs... but I cannot find any clips of the South Park Ah Tah part whatsoever and it's bugging the crap out of me.
On other news, my reel to submit to Pixar is done. Yay!

Well, the whole purpose of this video is supposed to be about how women are portrayed in video games, such as their roles, their appearances, and other representations.
I have characters already selected on who I'm going to praise and bash... And Lara has her own segment in the video.

I have noticed this. It's almost like they own a public scrapbook full of their own photos with the occasional cameo from other members on the site.
And Jill Valentine is a hero

Your too uptight. What's you're problem?
Did you honestly think you could type that without getting a response like this? Also, I never knew English was your second language. What was your first?

THE HULKSTER SAYS "AMEN BROTHER"
Up! up! my Friend, and quit your books;
Or surely you'll grow double:
Up! up! my Friend, and clear your looks;
Why all this toil and trouble?
The sun, above the mountain's head,
A freshening lustre mellow
Through all the long green fields has spread,
His first sweet evening yellow.
Books! 'tis a dull and endless strife:
Come, hear the woodland linnet,
How sweet his music! on my life,
There's more of wisdom in it.
And hark! how blithe the throstle sings!
He, too, is no mean preacher:
Come forth into the light of things,
Let Nature be your Teacher.
She has a world of ready wealth,
Our minds and hearts to bless
Spontaneous wisdom breathed by health,
Truth breathed by cheerfulness.
One impulse from a vernal wood
May teach you more of man,
Of moral evil and of good,
Than all the sages can.
Sweet is the lore which Nature brings;
Our meddling intellect
Mis-shapes the beauteous forms of things:
We murder to dissect.
Enough of Science and of Art;
Close up those barren leaves;
Come forth, and bring with you a heart
That watches and receives.

I wouldn't consider myself a feminist, I'd consider myself a Humanitarian. I think regardless of sexuality, gender, skin colour or social background people should all be given equal social treatment and protection by the law as a given.
I think Feminism is a tricky subject in the sense that as soon as you hear the word "Feminism" it immediately causes negative connotations from the few extreme feminists out there who give it a bad name. As a guy, I can't relate to what they're saying, but I can agree with some of the points they make. It's not an issue I have to worry about but I don't piss on their cause because of that. There are some legitimate reasons for them to get worked up and highlight objectification of women and women's role in society, and admitedly there are also times where they just seem to utterly detest men and pick arguements out of nothing. So long as they're fighting to be equal, and not fighting to get "back" at men, I fully support their battle.
The video that was linked she made a few good points, and in all honesty when she was talking about the Damsel I couldn't help but remember how Kitana's story got rebuffed in the new timeline and placed her in the Damsel role (an Assassin who's been around for thousands of years couldn't free herself from magical rings or chains?). Even Jill Valentine (who I love) was pretty much in that category in Resident Evil 5 whilst Sheva Alomar had no independent goals or ambitions herself.
You have to call a spade a spade here, some of the points she raised actually have a point to them.

I would like to know if there are feminists who admit to enjoying being fucked like an animal who owes money and is also a whore. I wonder, because that's generally how women like to get fucked. In my experience.

I'm no feminist either, but she did make good points to her video. Especially when she talked about Zelda, who appears to be this awesome ass-kicking chick when she's not in her princess wardrobe, but once she changes, she's immediately captured, or she's in a powerless state. How can you be something that seemed so powerful that changes into a weakling that depends on someone to rescue? You were independent for a long time and kicked butt, now you can't? That's ridiculous, and it is a bit tiresome to see that every now and then.
Although, I do not like the fact that they disabled the comments due to harsh feedback, they should have left that alone because now they're getting the whole, "You can't take feedback? Well fuck you!" stuff and that's kind of disappointing to be honest.
Zelda is only supposed to have her ass kicking powers with sheik. That's the whole point of sheik. She does do a bit of fighting as the princess though, such as in twilight princess.
Honestly my favorite female protagonists would be Lara Croft, Bayonetta, and Heather from SH3.
And the only thing that erks me when the way woman are portrayed argument comes up, why is it just women that are portrayed wrong? Guys are portrayed as muscley, cunning, and always having to save the world. They are video games, 80% of things are not represented greatly, but that's what people want.

What I meant was that right after she transforms herself back to Zelda after being Sheik, she is needed to be rescued, despite after everything we went through with Sheik. If she can be that, how come a little bit of her Sheik character can't be with Zelda?
(Also, I've never really played a Zelda game in my life so... this is why I probably would be asking all these questions, I never touched any of those games before)
And I also will agree with you about how come men don't get the argument as much as the women when it comes to how they're portrayed. But it's this hero system that fiction writing always has to follow, the hero is most likely going to be the guy, always have to face challenges along the way. But I wouldn't say ,"why is the women that are portrayed wrong?" It's more so as to "why are the women portrayed as always powerless?" If a princess got kidnapped, she's always relying on some guy to rescue her, but she's too powerless to find a way out herself.
Well, at least that's how I see it.
