What game are you playing?
Btw, what pokemons do you guys think need to evolve in the next generation?
My list:
- Girafarig (evolving into a two headed Giraffe maybe?)
- Pinsir
- Dunsparce (evolving into a cool dragon pokemon would be cool)
- Qwilfish
- Mawile
- Chatot

Jynx, Arbok, Farfetch'd, Tentacruel, Dunsparce, Sudowoodo, Sableye, Kricketune (Krickonductor ;D)
In other news, I finally got Pokemon Black. I went with Tepig, just got the first badge. I love how fast everything is now, especially compared to the first games in Gen IV. My party is pretty standard right now - Tepig, Patrat, Lillipup, Pansage, Purrloin and Munna. The best part of a new game is not knowing where anything is. I just know I want a Seismitoad and Eelektross.
Also reusable TMs are the best thing.

My current team is Serperior, Jellicent, Cofagrigas, Golurk, Scolipede, and Musharna.
My original team, from when I first played White, was Samurott, Unfeazant, Carracosta, Stoutland, Zebrstrika (which I regret), and Gigalith.
I like my current team better. More ghost types.

I had no idea, that tempted me into maybe giving genV a try, even though i don't like a large portion of the pokes from it.
I'm still playing Silver and it's going great. My team is currently Wobbuffet, Houndoom, Murkrow, Eevee (to evolve into umbreon), Girafarig, and Chansey egg. I'm training up a lot of dark-types with which to battle in Sabrina's gym.

I never had a Landorus.
Landorus' Therian form is actually the one I like. The other two look really weird.

My first starter, well, I'll go by Generation, even though I had Gen IV first . . .
Generation 1: Bulbasaur -
Bulbasaur is one of the most amazing starters ever. He/she, since they had no sexes (Mr. Mime?), was amazing because it was part Poison. Poison is probably one of the best types thanks to technical attacks + one of the best Street Fighter fighters.
Generation 2: Cyndaquil -
All of Johto's starters are the best, they all representin'! Cyndaquil is probably one of the cutest, especially as Quil and Ty. Nincknaming it was fun, giving them cool names: Sin, Quila, Ty, Phlo, Daq~il'! Plus, it doesn't take forever to learn flipping Water Gun . . . *stares over at Totodile* . . .
Generation 3: I herd U leik Mudkipz -
I heard you right, you know you picked the best starter in history, famous slogan stated above ^. If it didn't have a life, I would squeeze it to EXHAUSTION!
Generation 4: Turtwig -
Dude, its name sounds like how it is pronounced; TERD-WIG, turd wig. Anyway, it is cute, and if it moved slow, I would feel it like Mudkipz. I like fat Pokemon, this one is slow. Fat and slow my motto, so this one along with Snorlax and Venonat.
Generation 5 (A) [Black and White]: Tepig -
It is flipping adorable until it evolves. Hatch a Tepig egg and everstone, oh here we go! Plus, as Emboar it can shoot water out of its mouth and trip something with grass, kind of like a Sableye . . .
Generation 5 (B) [Black and White 2]: Spheal -
With the help of Action Replay, after choosing Snivy, use a Pokemon mod to get Spheal, best and cutest Pokemon side by side with Sealeo and Walrein!

I don't know if anyone here knows, but all the fire starters have been made after a chinese zodiac animal(or reference to).
Dragon - Charizard
Mouse - Typholosion
Rooster - Blaziken
Monkey - Infernape
Pig - Emboar
Don't be suprised if the next fire starter is reference to: Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Snake, Horse, Sheep, or Dog.

wouldn't count on another fire - horse because of Ponyta & Rapidash or fire - dog because of Growlithe, Arcanine, Houndour & Houndoom

Hm... I'd love to see a Fire tiger, ox, or snake...
All Water starters are animals that survive on land and water, so I'd love to see a platypus.
Can't recall what the Plant starters have as a common thing... They all remind me of reptiles.

I always thought a gorilla would make ab awesome Grass starter.
Plus, baby monkeys are so cute!

I had an idea for a Fire Snake Starter a few years ago, part fire and poison, anacondas. The platypus would be cool, as I love part poison types and poison is one of the best types. Not all grass starters remind me of reptiles - I know bulbasaur is a dinosaur but has no scales, chikorita is a dinosaur but is too weird for that dinosaur-look, treeko is a gecko enough said, turtwig is a turtle, and snivy is a snake but has no scales once again; my point is only the first two remind me of reptiles but I see what you mean.
Current B2 Team: Camerupt, Heracross, Sealeo (Walrein soon), Sunflora, and Unfezant
I am hoping for either of these soon: Pawniard/Bisharp, Reuniclus, Starmie, Wailord, Venusaur, Anything really, I have the mose balanced team ever . . .

Hhmmm... Maybe.
I think a family of fire starters of Lamb => Goat => Ram would be cool. Making the final evolution into Fire/Psychic

Wow, really? I haven't seen any rumors about VI yet, V is good but V2 is by far one of the greatest. Once you beat the game there is so much to do!

Wow! I'm so excited! I didn't expect to here anything Gen 6 wise so soon. The new starters look amazing. Fennekin is my favourite based on looks so far. The game, as shown in the trailer, looks pretty sweet too. I've been waiting for a fully 3D adventure Pokémon and they've finally delivered!
Those two Pokémon that look to be some of the new legendaries look pretty awesome too.
The trailer and some extra details can be see here. Nintendo Direct have confirmed the release as Oct 2013.

if those are the starters then it looks like we're getting dual typing again. The grass starter uses a dark type move, the fire starter uses a psychic type move and the water starter uses a fighting type move.

Well it'd be a welcome break from 3 generations of Fire-Fighting...
