Drifblim is usually my go-to Flying type pokemon. Here are some other ones I think are cool.
- Pelliper
- Noivern
- Altaria
- Xatu
- Crobat
- Volcarona -It's really Bug/Fire, but it can learn Fly, so I say got for it!

My favourite flying pokemon is Pidgeot.
In the past I've trained Pidgeot, Fearow, Starapror, Swanna, Butterfree, Dodrio, Swellow and Mandibuzz.
I'm really bored with Pokemon X now.

To be honest, lack of post-game content annoys me.
Ive got all the mega stones I can get, most of the legendaries (still to get Zygarde) done a lot of the battle tower/mansion stuff, got all the pokemon from Safari that I want to get etc.
Also none of the new pokemon this gen excite me that much. Sure theres the odd couple but its not like I want to go back and train that many more.
At this point too, there are so many unobtainable pokemon that Im not striving to catch them all.........yet lol.
I know the whole point of pokemon is to battle but Im not the biggest battler in the world, and tend jsut to battle with my friends and am certainly not competitive. So again, Im not desperate tog et training the ultimate team. And most of the pokemon I liked from previous generations I like and have already trained in the previous games so will likely just transfer over if I feel like it.

I agree with you.
For me, after the elite four, it's just about trying to complete the Pokedex as much as I can. Which tends to be kind of hard for me. I think the closest I came to completing it was last game in Pokemon White. I was only missing legendaries. After the elite four I just tend to level my favorite pokemons.

Have you gone to the Battle Chateau? That's my thing right now.
The Battle Chateau pretty much allows you to replay the game battle-wise in that building alone, battling through trainers starting at Lv. 15, and building up until you reach the Gym Leaders, then to the Elite Four, then ultimately, the Champion.
The interesting thing about the Battle Chateau, however, is that none of the battles are fixed. You move at your own pace, and you can come and go as you please. Plus, as you excel in the Battle Chateau, you gain the options of increasing and decreasing the levels of the trainers you go up against.
The ideal final battle would be going against Grand Duchess Diantha, augmented to Lv. 80.
Once I reach that, I think I may get bored myself. lol
If only the PWT was in this game.

@Toxik: Talonflame with Gale Wings is awesome, an almost proves that Fire/Flying types can be fucking awesome. It learns Brave Bird, Flare Blitz, Steel Wing, and Roost, and it's pretty fast. Strength is sort of meh, but extremely powerful STAB attacks make up for it.

Im thinking of raising a Fighting type, which I've never done (well my emboar was part fighting but I used it aa fire really). Any suggestions?
Battle Chateu I did some of it during my play through. Do you always have access to the lower levels as you move up?

I suggest Lucario. Steel removes its Psychic and Flying weaknesses and it has nine resistances.

Yeah, Lucario is really the best Fighting type out there.
I also recommend Hariyama, Pangoro (it has a highly diverse moveset), and Terrakion, not because I like it, but because everyone else seems to have done well with it.

Always.
The trainers you face differ every time you go, either by a little or by a lot. Each individual trainer has their set title, and as you increase in rank, you unlock more trainers to battle.
It also makes a great way to train low-level pokemon, or any pokemon for that matter.

I've never played much attention to Lucario to be honest and boxed the free one in the game. I'll consider it. Also thinking about Breloom, and possibly Conkeldurr as I have a shiny Gurdurr and would like to us it, but I think it looses all of its good moves (fire/ice/thunder punches) due to lack of move tutors in this game.

I think Chansey/Blissey, Skitty/Delcatty and Minccino/Cinccino should be fairy too.

I was actually surprised that Audino did not become a Fairy type.
Though, I'm sure the reason they all remained Normal is because the developers didn't want to virtually retcon the Normal type.

Yeah thats pretty much it I think, I just think some of the lines that got fairy type didnt really need it while some other wouldve benefitted greatly.
This n saying that Chansey is a beast with eviolote and Cincinno with Skill Link is usable too but it could do with the fighy resistance. Skitty/Delcatty is in drastic need of a boost.

I hatched a shiny Fletchling last night. That's my first shiny this generation. I don't believe I've ever hatched a shiny before. Has anyone else managed to do it?

I've caught shinies and got a few in trades (Dialga twice).
I think the only shiny I ever hatched was a Squirtle.

Random question
Does anyone have any Male pokemon from the Fairy egg groups that have come from a Japanese or non-english speaking version of the game (i ahve like two boxfulls of non english region pokemon from wonder trade, but none from that egg-group)? That they are not using and would be willing to trade me. I dont care what it is as long as it can breed lol.
