You need to start baiting out PCes. I've yet to fight a Quan Chi who couldn't PC out of rising star. We tested this out, and once you tried attacking right away I could not PC and would eat damage if I tried.

Why do you say Noob is number 2? I have a hard enough time believing he's better than Sub-Zero, let alone Scorpion with all of his damage and extreme safeness.

I don't really see how Kabal is better than Mavado. Is it the flash? Mavado's rope evasiveness is incredibly annoying to deal with, and he has 50/50s out of his ass that all lead to good damage. I know Kabal does too, but I just think Mavado overall has the better move set. first stance 1,1,3/1,1,cs 50/50 is also too good.


How Raiden is that low on your list is shocking. Actually, it isn't, since nobody plays him, but I've seen Raiden played well, and he's def top 10. No holes in his game and he's deal good damage with minimal risks. Bo is good, but has no range anymore and is weak to turtling. He's not top tier from my point of view.

Dude,what I see on my screen might not be what you see on your screen.There's some delay.Dan and Konqrr proved this a while ago in MK:D.

Also,after Rising Star,if you try to parry cancel,you will block.Rising Star is very safe,even off-line,so no wonder it's almost unpunishable online.For example,punishing RS with Scorp's f+1 is extremely hard.RS reminds me of BRC's wep. f+3 in MK:D.Unless the connection is great,it will be un-punishable.

Like I said,the more lag you have the better,especially for the characters who have easy PC'able moves.

Your reasoning for online tiering being pointless is silly to me. Everyone can parry cancel moves that are parry cancelable. Obviously lag helps the players who have it, but it was the same case for MKD. Noob with super lag or a decent conn is top tier regardless. Same applies for Sareena,Scorpion,Sub-Zero,Quan Chi,Tanya,etc.

I can't parry cancel Noob's 2,4 as some other Noob players.At least not as fast.It all depends on the lag.I've seen some people PC also immediately after Sareena's f,f+1,but yet you and I can't do it.It's all a matter of lag.

MK:D had no PC's.You also couldn't jump back into safety (as you can in MK:A).This all makes a big difference.

But you're right.The top tiers will still be the top tiers.However,it won't be specific.If you can PC like that with Quan Chi all the time,why wouldn't he be top 3 at least?Spam a safe launcher that even goes underneath certain moves for 42% of damage.If they block it,PC after it or jump back.Plus,Quan Chi's throw is probably the best throw considering his options.

Same thing with Noob.If you can PC fast after his 2,4,he's much better.If you can't,he's still top tier obviously,but he's not as good because 2,4 becomes punishable.

It can. Me and another member of my clan have been testing it versus each other and we've both managed to do it, though it takes a good degree of timing.



I agree with both of these points.

Raiden for me is ownage. I can deal with alot of people with him. His weapon stance is incredibly handy now the aerial and wake up game are in as it can counter both areas.

I'm still in the process of testing just how safe he is, but he's not let me down yet. Raiden when used properly is hard to deal with. If he had more damage behind him he'd be a best, imo.



Did I say the low poke were all she had? The counter is something to take into consideration though. I have seen the air fireball used to great effect over here. I take it characters like Nitara who also have one can't use it to that effect that well.

Hung Gar lost d+3 but b+2 is still there. Iron club d+1, b+2, are safe and awesome. f,f+2 is also safe. His throw juggles, He has a tomb stone ( a bit slow but still....)

It's always good to take a step back and reflect. MKA is without a shadow of doubt, nothing but a game and setting a thread with an invisible tag 'Elites only' is very much a step too far. There's enough inequalities in our societies and to bring that shit to cyberspace is somewhat BS and shows ignorance as to what's really important which is to enjoy the game together as one.

I've just watched some match vids of some top players of yours. Good gameplay but nothing to be afraid of .. lol. Even with a smaller player base over here there are some players I know that could keep up with you guys at least.

- Jarek is not top tier because of his bomb, but because you have easy and safe openings for his axe mix ups while he can stay in defense mode all the time. Surely he has some weaknesses. But still top 10 easily.

Also, Scorpion is better than Sareena overall imo. Scorpion has no real bad match ups while Sareena has to work a lot more during the match. Throwing knifes all the time is effective but the error ratio is much more higher than Scorpion.

Okay, while I don't exactly like reading Versa's high opinion of himself over and over in a majority of the threads in this forum, he in fact is right in that high level players should be the ones to test out and create the tier lists. Everyone has their opinions and feel free to post them, and those whom have been chosen to take on the task of tiering the characters should respond to each person's opinion so that everyone can understand what decisions you all are making.
