Yes KARATE that is my top tier list. I know it seems strange and you may strongly disagree and I respect that. But yeah IMO that's my top tier list alright.

I agree with it for the most part, I just wonder what your reasoning is for putting Quan above Scorp and Sub, and putting Drahmin so high.

Noob is really good, I consider him better then Quan Chi mostly because most of his moves are safe and Quan Chi is more easily punishable.

I agree about Drahmin being good, he is my best character.

Why did you rank Dairou so high?

Because Dairou is actually the best character in MK:A.

SubZero2 you're on drugs if you think Quan Chi is better than Sub-Zero,Noob or Scorpion. Great character, but those 3 are quite obviously better.

The top characters ONLINE in order to me are

1. Sareena
2. Scorpion
3. Drahmin
4. Dairou
5. Sub-Zero
6. Noob
7. Quan Chi
8. Kenshi
9. Tanya
10. Kung Lao

Everybody can compete for the most part, though. The only absolute trash are Shang and Shu.

I played a good Dairou for the first time last night... and right now I understand why he his rank so high...

The other guy only used vertical kicks in Mi Zong(when I was jumping in his direction) and Tombstone drop(followed by a devastating combo).

When I was jumping backward he used fireballs

He was able to beat my Quan Chi and my Drahmin pretty easily with that strategy

i thought the games we had the other night dave would have proved this. when i was picking almost every character in the game to see who he has a bad match up w/, theres like 6 characters he matches up bad w/ and 4 others that are even. i will not share them, every one will have to figure it out themselves dave is a fellow TKO member and i hope no one figures out a way to beat the dairou

theres the characters then the "other" strat that i used to get up close to him w/ out jumping in and getting hit w/ the up+4.

IDK i see him more at the #6 spot.

2 ~ NOOB matches up well vs every character in the game but sareena. OFFLINE tho he would be lower. i always get countered when i try the 2,4 combo because i get the slight delay that OTHERS DONT GET
3 ~ Scorpion
4 ~ Subby 3 and throw is all you need. i love this guy LOL i need to use him alot more i dont enough.
5 ~ Quan Chi
6 ~ Drahmin
7 ~ Dairou
8 ~ Kabal
9 ~ Kenshi

my list is going by how many bad match ups a certain character has. i could be wrong but this is what i feel.

kabal matches up well vs all those bitches but maybe dairou and sareena.

i know shang tsung is trash but ive become pretty damn good with him
i use him alot online and win most even vs very good players

Anyway,Dan,Dairou for me has no bad mismatches.Of course using Smoke is probably easier to beat Dairou with than using someone like Quan Chi,and even Drahmin.However,online I can't even sometimes punish that f,f+4 properly on block.He lands so fast and recovers so fast on my screen.Then there's those characters with air-kicks (Kung Lao and Fujin) than can punish a whiffed TS Drop easily,or can they?I'm thinking about parrying immediately after the TS Drop so that the air-kicks get blocked.I'm not 100% sure if this will work,though.

Kitana is also decent Vs. Dairou,but you can time your TS Drop under her fan which kind of limits her distance game at least Vs. Dairou.

And you're overrating Noob.Pick Dairou against him and abuse u+4 and b+4.There's very little a Noob player can do about that since he's probably going to spam 2,4 all day anyway.Then when he realizes that it doesn't punish any of Dairou's moves,then he'll try to either throw you or abuse d+4.Just buffer a TS Drop in these situations.If he goes invisible,teleport or side step into fireball.

Like Versa said,though,most characters can compete.It's all about turtling.

I tried to use Moloch at the end and you were able to beat me anyway lol

btw I'm not that sure about Moloch being the best character in the game... some quick characters like Mileena seems to have an advantage over him

IMO I think Mileena and Tanya are decent against Moloch. And maybe even Li Mei.

If Moloch parries any attack,there's 40% gone from your life bar.

Plus Moloch can just turtle and jump away from normal characters.What's there that you can really do?Most projectiles don't have any effect on him whatsoever.Then if you try to attack you'll run into random d+1's and 1,1,u+3's.

The reason you lost to my Dairou with Moloch is because you played incorrectly.Land 1,1,u+3 and do mix ups after it.If you take more than 50% from my life bar,the match is over.There's absolutely nothing Dairou can do to a Moloch player who's just jumping away and turtling.

^^^^^^^Dave has a point. Moloch is a difficult character to beat if the user is good with him. The ONLY time I'll beat him is with Smoke, Tanya, or Li Mei. And that's if the Moloch user sucks or if I get lucky against a good Moloch user. lol.

Ok, i was wondering. I know shujinko is termed as "unplayable" due to him taking more damadge than others. But if damadge wasnt taken into consideration, how would you guys rate him based on his safeness, mids, combos. etc? I mean, is there any chance he is better than some low tier characters like shang tsung even with taking more damadge?

I mean, lets say it was sareena, not shujinko, who took extra damadge in this game. SHe wouldnt be termed "unplayabe", would she? Since she has so much other stuff goin for her.
