I don't know how many characters are left for MK, but I think

- Raiden
- Johnny Cage
- Reptile
- Kano

They are the ones that are most iconic IMO, tough Baraka, Kung Lao, Kabal, Cyrax are also wicked characters that deserve a place in the game IMO. Edit: and I do hope for Fujin somehow, a underrated character with only two appearences.

On the MK side, I would like to see the last two slots go to Mileena and Reptile. Or maybe Quan Chi...though he's a long shot. I dread one may end up being Johnny Cage though.

On the DC side, if the hints from kotaku or whatever that site's called are correct, we're still missing an "archvillain" and an "epic villain."
The archvillain, I'd bet on Lex Luthor...most likely in his battlesuit. I don't know who to expect for the epic villain though. I would figure Darkseid, but I have a feeling he's going to be part of the mash-up boss they were talking about.

More than likely itll be Reptile and Cage.

DC will be Luthor and one other character...

Archvillian: *shrugs* I guess Lex Luthor.
Epic Villian: Possibly Lobo (I hope)

Obviousley Johnny Cage is not a given character for the simple fact alone that mk and other games like to copy plots that happen afterwars, facts and characters for there games. Sense Johnny Cage died in mk annihilation there is a pretty good chance that he is not going to be picked but not imposible. I thought that there was at lest going to be hidden characters but if these last two slots and the 1 for dc is it and done. O man thats wack mk needs to realize that there holding the possible fate of the mk future universe with this continuation for there game and need to be (very) selective in who they put for this game as characters, & as I said quote" Gee I hope that is not how it happens" in this thread talking about my response to pinkrangers thread and my, (lol and) yes my opinon aka take.. So six of the original seven have been confirmed. So Cage is going to have to make it to have the original seven back. The last slot will probably go to Mileena, Baraka or Reptile, though it would be nice to see Goro as a playable, balanced character

I don't want anymore boss characters playable in any future MK game.

If Cage gets the last spot, then i would like to see a MK3 - MKA character make the cut. Unless it is Bo Rai Cho.

Reptile: My personal favorite character; would bulk up the evil count for the MK side. He was the original secret character, as well as factoring into MKD's boss, so he's somewhat more iconic than Baraka, or for that matter Kano.
Mileena or Baraka: Don't really care which, I think we need to bump up the evil quotient some more.


Zatanna: Frankly, I think the game could use a few more mystical DC characters. And a few more female characters. Zatanna fits both bills.
General Zod: The game needs a superman enemy, and I would've preferred Luthor, but I do admit he's not a good fit for a fighting game. Zod's the next-best choice as he's both a megalomaniac and a powerhouse.
