After seeing this video I'm still on the fence and not in full blown hype mode yet.
My first impression is that I hope the game is more colorful than what we've seen so far. You can have a dark atmosphere without making everything brown/black/grey. If this goes too far into "gritty" dark knight/MK Legacy territory I'm going to hate it.

As for the new characters bug queen could be cool but Chang And Choi feels a bit "Soul Calibur" at first glance.

Gameplay wise everything looks good though, I'm excited to see that the run button might be back and this ability to use different versions of the characters that come with alternate move sets is the feature I'm most interested in.

Alright, just saw the gameplay. When I first saw the reveal trailer last week, I wasn't -that- hyped... but damn, that sure changed. I think the bug lady and the little girl and her brute feel very dark and gritty, fitting for a MK game. Not sure how I feel about the Aztec guy. I'll have to see more before I'm going to judge him. He kinda reminds me of SFxT's Ogre.

I like Sub-Zero's new look (I was worried when I saw the cgi trailer), as I do Scorpion's. I also think that the 2 stages are filled to the brim with flavor. I especially like the ship/boardwalk arena.

I think it's funny that they implemented the interactables from Injustice, but I'm not opposed to them.

All in all, I'm actually looking forward to see the rest now. It feels like a fresh new game, and that's what I was hoping for. :)

I think we might not see a gameplay of the 'aztec' warrior, because when someone asked about brand new characters on twitter, ed answered something like '2 of my favs will be shown'. So, at E3, I'll take my chances on scorpion, subzero, insect lady, big guy with the midget, plus 2 or 3 already known fighters.

I think that the new characters that we have seen so far are all from the Netherrealm and or the Chaos realm. That astec warrior looks a lot like Havik. Also Havik uses knives and a mallot, and his first finisher in Deception was that he eats the arm and then throws up.

I don't think he is a god, he just don't have that feel to him. The big guy with the kid coold be an Oni Warlord with someone from the Netherrealm. Has everyone else spotted the other Ninja with the white mask ??? from 2:09 you can sea hem clearly or is it just an alt costume of sub-zero ?, but then wy the white mask ?.

I'm super fucking hyped about this. The Elder God story has always interested me, really glad to see some new Gods besides Shinnok/Raiden/Fujin

I am going out on a limb here on saying this but we know we'll get some MK4 and from there on characters. We do not know how many at this point but we know 100% for sure Scorpion and Sub-Zero made the cut.

Anyone believe this is Bi Han and not Kuai Liang? I kind of do due to the fact Kuai Liang may have perrished with many other fighters during the last game yet Bi Han much like Scorpion already is dead.

Going back to the trailer I said earlier that the insect lady IMO could be the new Jade or the character that Jade became in her MK9 ending.

For my new favorite guy with the little imp thing, could this be a new Moloch design? Anyone remember his bio from MKV and how it said he had a little demon friend or bird thing that was supposed to be with him yet he had this ball thing. Perhaps this could be Moloch. So in the trailer if true we saw 3 old fighters and 2 new ones. But overall we did see 5 (6 if count the little imp thing). Can't wait to see what mess Raiden created for us. LOL.

I just realized what happens to the midget person when somone fatalities the big guy, or do they do on the midget, or both?, or neither!?!?!?!?!

There are some speculations that this Aztec guy is an elder god. What about the bug girl and midget guy? Could they not also be elder gods as well? That would be a neat story arc, the elder gods intervening directly to clean up the chaos Raiden created.

Man, could you imagine how ticked Shinnok would be??

It is indeed a corpse, already brought this up in my map/level discussion thread. The "ogre" guy picks up one of the floating corpses and flings it at D'Vorah. The body bleeds green, we are speculating it could be a possible saurian body

WB's first showing of MKX in their E3 Theatre is at 12:35 PDT. That means approximately 23 mins from now.

Here's to hoping we get more info and live demonstrations of the game.
