Hence the reason why we need an ePSXe list!

I think it wouldn't be illegal to list where to find codecs and other tools for ePSXe since it is an emulator that plays off actual discs. Then we can post some universal settings that everyone can use and create a community of PSX onliners

Emulators and their peripherals in general are not illegal, so yeah, I'll get a list of common settings and minimum CPU requirements together and add that to the list and maybe put a * next to players who are capable of using EPSXE.

sooo.... uh, how was the tournament?

It was good, I am trying to get vids up but have other matters to tend to. There was a total of about 8 different players around. Within the next week I'll have them up.

A handful of players showed up for Breakdown, thanks goes to: Busta Uppa, Phi, Julian, RSigley, 50 Cent, VDO, and Dave. I didn't realize there were 8 of us until I made the vids tonight, we could have actually done a tournament, hopefully next time the outcome will be better, this is up since last time's turn out.

hahaha, I swear my skill level seemed to double every time the camera was turned off. My one and only win against Phi will remain un-televised. BUT I HAVE WITNESSES!!!!!

heh, but I got 2 wins on video this time, that's DOUBLE what I had before! Oh and I love how you can hear some of the commotion from the MvC 2 tournament, it was a friggin riot scene in there!

Did anyone really stand out as a winner? As you said you guys ended up not having the tourny but did one person seem to dominate?

Like I posted in another forum, I had 14 wins in a row at one point, then I decided to film some matches and Busta blew it for me! lol, it's ok, I was most likely the standout winner, but everyone else is really catching up!

I got a PM from 50 cent on another forum saying that you put his name in the wrong place on the video page. He says he didn't play as ermac and reptile. I don't think it matters that much but whatever. It doesn't really affect me...

Sheeva is in every version of umk3 except for SNES. You can still access a glitchy version of her on the SNES through some code that will probably be provided by another forum member if you inquire.

Dave could you find out who he played as then? I could have swore that the guy playing solely as Reptile and Ermac throughout the night told me his nick was 50Cent, known from playing Marvel.

I've been having a minor problem with Mame for a while now that I just never got around to asking...

Whenever I or someone I'm playing types text, it shows up black like this:



I'm sure it's something really simple, but does anyone know how to correct it? It's just a b*tch to keep minimizing the game to see what ppl are typing when they're playing against me.

Hit the HOME key a couple times.

It makes the text have a transparent bg, colored bg, or none at all, I dunno why it does the all black, that's silly, it should just be nothing.

Yeah, what the hell is the point in that? Even the transparent background makes the text hard to see.

On a side note, since we can play the mk's again, there's seems to be less MK2 and UMK3 games going now than before, and absolutely no MK1. Could just be the times I'm on though...
