I've never liked Cage. His design, his personality, his story, his gameplay... overall, he never attracted me really. I didn't even notice he was gone in MK3 and UMK3 until he suddenly popped up in MKT. He's one of those characters who's just there to be there.
The only good thing that's come from him is his daughter. So I hope Cassie is here to replace him.

And no, I'm not upset, just trying to be clear with you, but it is apparent that you don't really care.

Maybe because it's time for some of these "veterans" to actually get off their ass and fight to truly have a right to be in other than because they were in the first two games? Maybe because most of these characters haven't had a true ounce of development since 1993? Maybe because these same old characters have been riding off the same "cute" gimmicks for over 20 years now? At the end of the day most of the "vets" such as Cage, Jax, ect are disposable to me because they haven't done anything interesting and only make it in because they're in every game, not because they're truly compelling characters.

If we're going to demand the new characters to reach new heights in creativity, then the same should be set for ALL the characters. Johnny Cage can still be humorous, but he needs to fucking do something other than wear sun glasses, show off his pecks, and follow the other Earthrealm warriors around. If his first shot at development is him being a serious ass kicking powerful warrior that is nothing like the wise cracking buffoon we've been giggling at for the past two decades- then I say so be it.

Of course JC should do something. But he should still retain some of his humor. Making him some dead serious hero takes away from what makes Cage cool.

If someone asks the question, "What would you like to see with so-and-so" and someone gives an honest answer "I don't want to see them return," doesn't matter how they write it like that, they're giving an answer, not trolling.

I feel like people on this site don't understand the definition of that word anymore. If you really want to know what a troll is, look up the user Hankypanky1 in the search engine. THAT is a troll.

And why others are making a big issue about someone's opinion is their problem. It is Jaded's opinion, you don't need to agree with him. I certainly don't because I happen to like this character and would like to see him again, but I'm not going to get all sassy because he wishes to not see him ever return. It is his opinion and you're entitled to think differently. But to lash out and call someone a troll over it, grow up.



Not trying to purposely start anything, but no, you get hated upon because you rush to almost every single thread about Sub-Zero and viciously attack not just the character, but the fans as well. At least what Jaded did here was nowhere near what you do to Sub-Zero threads. I wish you'd get that through your head that the only reason why you get a lot of backlash is because of your actions.

OK I'm gonna try to get y'all out of this discussion by talking about the Cage again.

The more I think back about previous MK games, the more I want Cage in. I've come to realize that I play with him practially every game he's in. His skills fit my style I guess. Just hoping that IF he returns, he get some bad ass finishers as well. Didn't like the whole award fatality from MK9.

What did I say? He can still be humorous, but he needs to get off his ass and do something relevant other than spit out elementary school taunts.

I could really care less how long ago you made a sneer comment towards Sub-Zero fans (oh look, another topic about him). The problem is that you think you don't deserve the amount of hatred you've been receiving when you actually do. Since you brought the subject up yourself without anyone helping you, let me just say, it is your fault that people don't like you. You gave them a good reason to not like you. And until you show that you can be a respected user here on this site, some people are going to keep treating you like they have been, even if you think their insults are way too much than what you throw out.

I mean, you pushed the right buttons to get a lot of people aggravated with you, and I don't blame them. And comparing you and Jaded to what he said in this thread is hardly a comparison, since he's not even attacking a single fan in this thread.
