If Mr.Cage returns to MKX, how do you want him to be?

1) The same joker as always, nothing serious, making everything a joke.

2) More like in his endings, where he's often called a god-bred warrior?

3) Something else



I really would like Cage to return (if he does, I rather see others, but I hope Mr.Boon talked about him, not about Sonya Bland) like some god-like character that isn't all about jokes anymore and much more serious while still a bit vain and arrogant. (but in a non funny way).

I don't know if he should keep the sunglasses tho, I like them on him, but I rather see some god-like tattoos or whatever instead.

His powers could be very different as well, while still having one variation as his old personage and his old moves.

If they make him more god-like and more serious instead of a joker, I actually might grow on him!

I'd like the story to pick up shortly after MK9 and him have his usual personality, design and moveset, have this as his first variation.

Then as part of his story have him exile himself to Seido and maybe return years later in his MK9 ending guise, more serious, in control of his shadow powers but with a hint of his humor left, and of course those 500 dollar sunglasses, asshole.

I think we will meet Johnny Cage in the story mode but he will not be a playable character in the game. Looking at some of Cassie's move like the Nutcracker it would be too similar to Johnny Cage. I think that NRS want to make each character really unique. I think it would be time for Cassie to take on Jonhnny's mantle.

I don't know, actually. This is one of those rare posts of his that aren't complete and utter shit, although I mostly attribute that to Johnny Cage being the main topic. :)


As for Johnny, he should come back with a heavily revamped moveset and Seido-inspired look. Do away with most of his signature moves, including the Nut Punch (Cassie can have it), and make him more of a power character.

In attempt to return the thread to original topic, I'd say theres small chance Cage is gonna be playable. He make a cameo appearance in the early parts of story mode, but since we have Cassie with most of Johnny's moves, I don't expect him to be playable.

Anyway I have a huge feeling that either Sonya or Cage come back, I hope it's cage as I really would dislike Sonya taking up a spot.

Cage doesn't need to ditch his sarcastic, arrogant, egotistical personality. That's his character. His personality shouldn't change because some serious shit came down after the events of 2011. You can be serious and still throwout sarcastic remarks at the same time. And Johnny as a god... Yeahhhhh, okay.
