I didn't insult ANYONE about their opinion. I just said it was a bit asinine to judge after such a small fragment of gameplay or backstory. I mean some people will never be truly happy with MK.

And that' sthe thing I don't like. I'm all cool with Netherrealm, Outworld, Edenia... but Order Realm and Chaos Realm? That's just so... lazy.

Accusing someone of making an asinine statement is an insult in my books.

Furthermore, its not an asinine statement. I don't care if Little and Large are the One Being Incarnate, that squeaky voice is consistently gonna break my flow and throw me out of the game. If other people like that character, more power to them, I'm glad they get a game where they like everything. But that does not mean it's an asinine statement to say that, in my opinion, Little and Large don't feel MK-y

Will I ever be truly happy with MK? Of course. The only MK game I'm not happy with is Armageddon. I'll love MKX, and the fact that I don't like one new character does not mean I'll never be happy with MK. Slow down with the presumptions sunshine

Not sure I feel about the Bug lady. I felt the same way when I saw Nitara for the first time.. A vampire with wings in a MK game? Weird.. Yeah, that's what I think it is. You guys clearly have forgotten that there's at least six realms these characters could come from. What, anything that looks non-human should not become a character to play as? We all have to sit here and play nothing but humans with the exception of Reptile, Baraka, and Drahmin? (And any other non-human characters I missed) Give me a break!



I'd like for people to actually have this kind of feeling towards everything they're complaining about rather than just immediately jumping the gun in saying that it sucks without even experiencing it themselves.



You guys can have opinions all you want, but also realize you're on a discussion forum. Expect people to challenge your opinions, even if you don't like it. People here are clearly doing that. They don't understand how you or anyone else can be so judgmental about something that we hardly even know. If you're that offended that someone says, "it's asinine" or "it's ridiculous," I don't know what to tell you then.

Why can people not challenge opinions without insulting the opinion? Is that too much to ask? I mean, even here people had a thread about things they disliked and you stormed in telling them that it was way too early to dislike things. I accept people have different opinions than me, I revel in it. It makes life fun, uniformity is bland. But that doesn't mean that stating my opinion means I have to accept people informing me my opinion is ridiculous.

For instance, your argument goes that we've seen way too little of the characters to judge if they feel MK-y. So why is it that posts which say how much they like the new characters aren't called asinine? Because its the prevailing opinion.

There is a marked difference between encouraging discussion and challenging opinions, and ending discussion and ridiculing opinions

@IceBaby Why are you even in this Thread, where people are encouraged to say what they don't like, if you think its stupid that people have negative opinions already? Are you just trying to Troll people? If you think its stupid just go to a different thread and pretend this one doesn't exist. I made this thread KNOWING people wouldn't agree with some things we said. Every one is entitled to their opinion.. This thread is suppose to be one for people who see stuff they don't like about the game.. Without people like you giving them a hard time for it. I've got no real dog in this fight. I love Sub-Zero so much that as long as he's in the game in some iteration I'm happy.

Having said that, I CANNOT stand when people who are critical are attacked for an OPINION. There were a lot ass-hats in the conference trailer thread. One in particular who I've disliked for a long time. I really wish there was an ignore feature here, but I digress.
