Give her a friggin' chance. They did Skarlet, Kenshi, and Rain pretty darn cool in MK9. I think Tanya will be fine. Sure she has a fireball, just like a couple of other characters, but that's really all we see in Story Mode (besides, almost every MK character has a projectile) so who knows what they have in store.

I want to see what they can do for her.

Skarlet didn't have "shit" before MK9, then they made her unique.

What makes you think Tanya will be any different? Even if she is boring, they'll do something that will make you think twice, possibly even making someone worthy enough to be in the main roster of MK11.

How exatcly is Raiden similar to Rain? Because they share lightning?

Rain has a lightning move that isn't shared by Raiden. And Rain uses water has is weapon. Plus he is a demi-god. And has kicks that send you around the world.

How is Kenshi similar to Ermac? He used to be in the 3D games. Not anymore. Even Kenjutsu works differently from anything Ermac does. Is it because both have telekinetic powers?

How is nightwolf similar to any of these 3 characters? Like at all?

How is nitara similar to Skarlet? Have you used both?

And while Tanya hasn't exactly been a paragon of originality she does have something going for her. She is the only tonfa wielding character in the game.

And I like that they gave each female "ninja" their own weapons.

Fans for kitana, sais for mileena, short swords for skarlet, a staff for jade and tonfas for tanya.

Hope in this game they rework her special moves and giver her some identity other than the lame stuff she had in previous games.

I was just saying how Tanya should not be singled out for have a fireball when a lot of characters have similar moves. Rain, Raiden, and Nightwolf all share a lightning bolt. Ermac and Kenshi share telekinesis. Nitara and Skarlet both use blood.

What is taking so long!!!! If her release date is not coming any time soon, at least give us some new gameplay footage :(

We probably would have seen something by now if they didn't have to change her model. Pretty sure it caused conflict with any potential trailers or gameplay videos they had in store for us.

I'm pretty sure they wanna concentrate on Jason's general release this week. It doesn't take long to put a trailer together.

Never said it did. Them having to take the time to redesign a model that was already done and then retest it in gameplay, does.

I doubt it. We didn't see a trailer or gameplay for Jason until long after he had a release date. It was the day before he came out, even.
