Looks like blonde was indeed Cage in the story trailer, and we just might be able to play through the conclusion of the Netherrealm War. Or things start off with an old Cage finding new problems. And everything is told all out of order Memento style.

I just saw someone claim that "a director who should know what's been confirmed" got fired from NRS today; Adam Urbano is/was a director; has he been fired for the slip-up mentioning JC & Kenshi? Link

That's what I thought; the poster says it was a "direct producer", but that's not an actual title so, big grain of salt taken with the claims the twitter user is making. EDIT: She/he says It was Urbano who got fired

That's what I'm trying to get at. And don't get me wrong, I am sad to see some of the big names of this site going away. I do miss Icebaby, Razor and the likes (although I liked them for the content they shared, not because their ranking logo was something other than a little dude in a triangle hat). Most of them left on their own though. I don't see what makes it so obvious the guy in question is FerraTorr, but if there is evidence it confuses me even more. Why do you wanna go through the trouble of writing a response when no matter how well-thought-out it is the other person probably doesn't care? I mean, if you just like to express your logic, I guess that's fine. Carry on.

Still waiting for more news though, NRS!!! Oh, and sorry, it took me so long to write this that there's practically a whole other page of stuff in between. Sorry for digging this debacle back up again.

Normally, that would be the case. Especially this close to release, but the entire feels of this site are completely different than they used to be. And I've had this inkling for a looooong time now. We've already lost numerous quality posters like Icebaby, queve, Jaded-Raven, RazorsEdge701, blacksaibot, Garlador, just to name a few. Coincidence? I think not.

Seriously, nothing against some of the newer users here. In fact, some, if only a handful, have actually been amazingly beneficial to the site and it's discussions. That's part of what has kept me from even bringing up this subject.

However, the majority of them just don't seem to realize that this is a community. A family. Yeah sure, we bitch, we fight, we "whine", we argue and get into heated debates, but ultimately we've developed relationships over the course of 10+ fucking years to the point where we actually care about each other and share common passions that stretch above and beyond MK. So, when you get users who, basically, have contributed nothing meaningful to the site, literally and intentionally push quality and veteran posters over the edge, and insult them, I see it as a blatant attack on our community and it's members.

Sorry, but I'm personally not having it. I already regret taking so long to say this much as I'd like to think it would have at least saved one or two of our lost friends from hitting that ultimate breaking point.

With all that said, to our remaining forces, I love you all. And you guys (and gals) know who you are. <3

Clearly not a NRS team member though Cages_Shades; so they're either a tester or a friend of someone from NRS- doesn't strike me as being an all out fraud though, not yet anyway.

Thanks so much. It sucks that the guy who leaked this got fired today. I think NetherRealm could do a lot better than Johnny Cage as there are plenty better characters to choose from, especially the ones from Post-MK3. (Shinnok, Reiko, Tanya, Bo' Rai Cho, Li Mei, Frost, Hotaru, Havik, Sareena)

i dont think he got fired, i think that kitana person just assumed he would be fired, unless there's actually been confirmation somewhere?

Urbano didn't do anything wrong. He is supposed to be talking about Johnny Cage, they're showing the first chapter of story mode at GDC. The guy who put the video up on youtube was supposed to wait until a specified date, after Cage was officially announced. The interviewer fucked up, no one got fired.

I sincerely apologize if I contributed to the ills of this forums.
