Basically the guy being interviewed confirms Johnny Cage and Confirms that Johnny Cage will be playable and is the first chapter of the Mortal Kombat X story.

Also he says that people will be able to play the first chapter of the story at GDC which is where he is(I think).

He doesn't say that Kenshi is playable but he says the you'll see Kenshi in the game as well.

He also confirmed that you can unlock things for the game via the Mobile version of MKX.

Not sure if I missed anything, but basically nothing we didn't know.

No need. It was just an interview from GDC where they are showing a full chapter of Story mode, no gameplay or new footage.

Basically he said:

Story mode will have Quick Time Events that may alter the story/change some outcomes. (It's not exactly clear)
He says that the chapter they're demoing today is Johnny Cage. He goes on to say that his Brutality is awesome and involves the nut punch.
He also say that you'll see the newbies in this demo chapter (Cassie, Kung Jin, etc...) as well as Kenshi.

I think he will be in the final roster but I get your point.

If we get to fight characters like Sindel,Kabal,Stryker and others who are still under Quan Chi's control(I mean in actual fight not cutscene) Then modders for PC will be soooo happy because they'll just make them playable like they did with Goro,Kintaro and Shao Kahn.

So I'm very happy that I'll be getting it on PC, lots of cool stuff.

On one hand, that excites me to no end. On the other, it makes me feel a little anxious. I believe it was KungLaodoesntsuck who said it, but totally agree that we better have a clear idea of the actual canonical storyline.

To contribute to that anxiety, makes me wonder if this truly will be the last MK. Branching story paths certainly would be something to keep everyone interested, for a longer time.
