Cool johnny is 100% confirmed playable and not just story based, sweet.

There were a lot of people who thought Johnny Cage was going to only be in story mode. I posted this to help clear things up.

Plus we had no confirmation of branching story paths either.

LOL. You sure did. Annouced Johnny Cage was playable way back in August/September if I recall correctly.

As far as story mode goes, I'm hoping it just sheds light on events otherwise that may just be glossed over. It could also potentially lead to different cameos depending on which path you take. If it plays out that way, could be very interesting and definitely gives you a good excuse to play through multiple times.
