Yes, he should return as the sub-boss!

seeing how MK9 used sub bosses MK1 Goro-mk2 Kintaro it makes sense for MKX to use MK3 Motaro and MK DA Moloch as Shinnoks sub bosses, for that purpose I'd like to see him back.

I would say yes. He wasn't as awesome as the previous sub-bosses but I thought he stood out enough with his weapon.
What if he had a theme song? Something involving wrecking with his giant ball...

It's a not for Moloch, next up is Motaro!
Despite that it would make sense to see him dead in the Netherrealm, if he can't be programmed to work right, it's a no for me. As much as I love this character, I just feel that there really isn't anything they can do with him.

The thing that pissed me off about the MK9 story mode was that all the characters I wanted to love were nothing more than punching bags.
Baraka, Kintaro, Reptile, etc.
I feel like Motaro would get the same treatment, because he has been getting shit on for years.
With today's technology, I don't want to hear anything about Motaro not being able to function as a centaur. That was hard to believe when MKA came out , near unbelievable when MK9 released, and now and you can't convince me of that logic without making me think laziness was involved.
If they implement his proper design, give him a role that is more than an Outworld dick jockey, and give him a good move set, then yes, I would love to see him.
I doubt he will be in this game due to plot reasons, but I am going to say they should, just to redeem him after all these years.
Yes.

If as a centaur, I'm more than down with an undead Motaro being one of Quan Chi's main henchmen and a sub-boss, although the ease with which Raiden took him down in Story Mode slightly diminishes his aura. There really can be no excuse to not make him a centaur if he's in. NRS has more time, money and resources to throw at new games than the same team at Midway. The only concern with Motaro not being in is whether the team want him in, not whether or not they're capable of using his centaur form, his minotaur form is something which I've chosen to consider non-canon from MKA.
If as a minotaur, no. A thousand times, no.

Motaro is conceivably the only character i could see coming back as non-playable and be forgiven for it (since everyone else technically would be able to be).
Perhaps even both biped and quadruped forms could be included (alluding to EB's mysterious tweets) where centaur is NPC but minotaur is playable.
Plot-wise a return as a member of Shinnok's army is well within the realm of possibility, as well as many other options.
At this point i'd say yes to most characters' future inclusion, but Motaro really has drawn the short straw far too often, so for that reason alone i'm going to say I hope so.

Motaro has been a design problem for the MK team since the 3D games because they'd have to build an entirely seperate skeleton for him only. It's just not practical and would probably be seen as a waste of resources. You have to understand that WB would have to pay for that and it's reasonable that they skip him when he's not that popular or important and typically not even playable.

I think that with the exception of Shao Kahn and Shinnok, it is time for MK to move on to new bosses and sub-bosses. Goro could return in the next game or the one after that, but I say kill off Kintaro and Motaro. Make way for new Shokan and Centaurians.

I love Motaro and I was mad to see him with two legs in MKA. I hope he returns in MKX in his whole appearence.

Yes! Motaro is sick!!! I always hated fighting him because he was so tough.

Motaro? Hell to the yes!
I want more monsters and different body types/ character models in MK. Motaro would be a welcome addition. This may be an unpopular opinion but I would want him to be a normal fighter, I think the sub boss days should be over. It was fun in MK9 as it was a tribute to 1-3. These fighters aren't normal mortals they can take something bigger than themselves, no question. Bring on the Outworld monsters and bring on the Oni!

In my opinion a very angry sub boss! I love angry so yes please lol

It's a yes for Motaro, next up is Nightwolf

For me, personally, I would like to see him return. He is really not a bad character at all, and I like shamans. I figure he has a chance to return seeing how he's a zombie at the end of the last story, so I am going to go ahead and say that he's got my vote for "yes."

Nightwolf was one of my favorite characters in MK3 so it would be great to see him in MKX. The thing is though, if all these characters who died in MK9 are coming back, you can't really take character deaths serious. That's why I really hope the current SZ isn't Kuai Liang. For this reason I say NO to Nightwolf. I'd love to see a native American character replacing him, though
