Very cool finish to the fatality but I don't understand what all the hoohah was about regarding how disgusting it is. Very excited to see the rest of the fatalities now...

Yeah, I think there is "too much going on" because they seem two totally different fatality's. Should have been something like Sub-Zero's fatality, his makes sence. Freeze the body, blow the whole to get to the spine, break it and split the body. It's "logical". I had the same kind of idea for Scorpion as Jaded-Raven. Do something with the heart that appears. Fatality wasn't so disturbing as people made it out to be.

I can instantly improve Scorpion's fatality:

Instead of slicing the opponent's face off, when the heart drops down, Scorpion should throw his spear through it. It's cleaner and more in line with his background and history.

I don't need to go out on a limb and apologize to anyone here or anywhere else that I've spoiled something for them, you're on an MK forum so you know you're bound to find leaks of certain aspects of the game somewhere down the line. You're taking a gamble by even coming here. Not calling anyone any names, not trying to argue with anyone here, let's just keep it classy please... If it's not me spoiling something, it's gonna be the next guy, and the people upset about it are going to say whatever is on their mind in their topic as much as this one.

To be fair, the fatality was shown to others on the show floor at E3.

Now that that's off my chest, I feel like Maximillian's description and reaction of the fatality was gorier than what is seen in the video. Then again he's not an MK enthusiast like most of us here, so we know what to expect. I expected more blood in the fatality but other than that it's really great. Like someone else said, I feel like this fatality would've been more suitable for some other character. I'm completely OK with the face slicing off part, but the heart flopping and chest protruding fireball is a bit overkill IMO. I love his other fatality better (from the reveal trailer).

I liked how in MK9 the camera panned away from the gore mess that was left behind, and the character went into a final pose, much like Smoke, Sektor, Scorpion and a bunch of others in MK9.

I had to spoil it for me. I can't just watch one half of a fatality that's just mean. I like this. It made me cringe. The second fatality that made me cringe. Bravo, I approve!

I just love how Scorpion sticks to the chop pose for a bit. I'm more curious to see how this works on every character. And the little detail of Sub-Zero's mask falling off first is neat.

People who don't want to be spoiled can just stay away from threads like this. The subject is (was) pretty accurate.
