It's time. It's definitely time.

Let Rain be in the initial roster of an installment, not a Trilogy-style game, for the FIRST TIME.

Muh man deserves it.

Also, the way they are paying homage to characters who won't (or probably won't) make the cut (Jade, Mavado, Fujin, Bo' Rai Cho, Sektor, more to come, I'm sure) with moves/similar moves, not a single one has yet to show off anything that Rain has to offer.

Which is another great sign.

even raiden doesn't have the lightning strike move.

Not to mention rains costume is different in the comic and the game, seems like they are giving a lot of detail to the guy; for him to be just filler, doesn't fit.

I'd rather we just let Rain be Rain and not the most overrated character from DBZ.

So much salt in this thread. Rain is cool, get wit it. IDC if he's just a cameo, I think it's awesome that he's in the game. And it seems like cameo appearances are the way to go with "lesser" characters, like it's cool to have extra characters around for world building/depth (for factions).

They're not going to give a cameo a brand new costume and model. They could've just re-used his MK9 outfit like Sindel. That's way too much work and time for a character who's only in it for a few seconds - not to mention pretty pointless. Also, he's a Mileena loyalist. Mileena has no playable allies aside from Goro whilst Kotal Kahn has Reptile, D'Vora, Ferra/Torr, Erron Black, and Ermac. Mileena needs more playable allies and Rain fits the bill.

Yeah, I agree dawg. I think he's going to be playable too, but if he's not, I'm cool with it. Like someone else said on here, kicking the Emperor off a damn roof is a pretty sweet cameo tongue
