Lol I was just thinking of one.

I remember seeing a thread on here a while ago about tarkatans being evil and the potential for a good tarkatan. It made me think about seeing a new tarkatan brought in to rival Baraka. Maybe this tarkatan was always ashamed of how his race is always viewed as these evil bastards and took off at a young age. Spent alot of time in hiding, training and molding himself into a true warrior so that one day he could return and challenge Baraka. His intentions being killing Baraka and taking his place as leader of the tarkatans so he can lead them how he believes they should be.

This is why fandom should have no say in creative matters.

That includes you, y'know.

Look back at my post literally a page back lol. I don't think any Tarkatan is going to change their behavior unless exposed to different ideas. Thus the A Tarkatan who survives in Earth Realm after the unsuccessful invasion. He would adopt our philosophies (and maybe put a savage tarkatan spin on them). They are born into savagery none of them are going to think independently.... Unless...

I do agree they shouldn't be 100% without a doubt evil considering they are half breeds. Oni's and Cyborgs on the other hand...

Ghetto Black dragon cyborgs. Bigger and tougher but not as sleek and advanced as the Lin Kuei model. Cheaper looking but immediately more threatening. Perhaps more skin/human exposure (advanced Kano/Kabal)

I've never been anti-cyborg for KI. Seems like a logical way to fight against things humans just can't deal with. Kano has been around since 1. Jax', 2. They cyborgs never really felt out of place to me in 3. Thing is... the only people who have taken advantage of them so far has been a magic ninja clan lol.

I'll admit that a good tarkatan would be pretty unusual, but not impossible.
I'm sure NRS would come up with a better story than I did lol, but I wasn't saying that's what his story should be (I was literally coming up with it as I typed it out.) I was just getting the character out there to maybe spark some conversation on the possibility.

Not really. Androids and cyborgs are two completely different things

Cyborgs: Living creatures, that have been enchanced with cybernetic implants.

Androids: Machines, covered in flesh and skin to resemble living creatures.

Despite my misgivings, I would not want to compromise anyone's souvereign right to design their games the way they seem to want to do. They have the right to make a shitty game, or surprise me.

Fair enough guess I was thinking Drones/ Cyborgs. Don't mean to bash the idea but what purpose would a android serve in MK?

If you want original characters then use something that we have yet to see in this series. Adding in another cyborg does not make it original, even if it doesn't come from the Lin Kuei. Sorry, I don't want more. I'd rather see something that is completely new to the series than having something we've seen before but acting differently.

What about...
- new warriors from clans like red dragon, SF, Lin Kuei, Shirai Ryu, black dragon, white lotus, brotherhood of shadow
- time travellers and dream walkers (not Kreuger!)
- warriors from forgotten realms
- this fm the realm of chaos and order
- more oni/demons
- angels from heaven in service to the Elder gods. Like a true champion if it's masters.

We have/had an arrow master and his name is Nightwolf. He would put Green Arrow to shame.

Then they should just get rights to Eric Rowan from WWE to play that type of character. Change the color to orange for his jumpsuit (as it's green).

Ok what about a warrior with Telekinesis that can move things or people with his.. Oh crap, that's Ermac and Kenshi..

Ok I've got it this time! A character that has fire abilities? Damnit that's every other character in MK!

What about a character who can create portals? like in the movie x-men this could be fun.. or... someone remember the movie phantasm? there was a man with two or three metal spheres... maybe netherrealm could create a character with those Little friends too :)

Someone who has the power of energy, specifically, charging his swords up with the energy.

How about...

a character that uses earth powers. And Tremor won't appear in the games anyway.

a character that uses poisons; various toxins: oil, chemicals, pollution/dust, petrol & radiation. Not like Reptile.

a character that uses metals. And we are NOT talking about "Khrome". Someone who can use liquid metal and create weapons. The android idea can work.

a character that uses magnetism. Perhaps it'll be a new cyborg developed by Sektor.

a character that uses gravity from the moon.

a character that uses light and the sun's solar rays.

I got a original idea.

Let's make a Ninja character. We don't have enough of those
