We've seen Bo'Rai Cho as a martial arts master.

Not much good warriors from Outworld and those from other realms merged like Reptile & Nitara.

Li Mei & Bo'Rai Cho are the only good guys in Outworld. How would you have more?
- samurai
- assassins
- doctors
- alchemists

Outworld is full of potential for strong new characters, due to the many species that exist within the realm.

As for Seido, there is only one character I am hoping to see.

The above image comes from a mission in the Konquest mode of Mortal Kombat Deception, where Shujinko was asked to obtain gems for a woman so she could make jewelry for her children. The text reads:

The winterstone! Sadly, I will not be using it to make jewelry for my youngest daughter.

She has joined the Resistance Movement and I have disowned her.

Ever since I completed this mission and heard the woman say this, I've been crazy about this young girl. I so very much want to know who she is, why she joined the Resistance, and how she feels about her mother disowning her.

I doubt NRS will ever venture into this tiny side mission, but I truly hope that they do. I would love to see the woman's young daughter be developed into a new character for the series.

The lady in purple could be made into this lady's daughter no?

That would require the events of the Sedian Resistance to have occurred prior to MK2, the era in the MK9 story mode where the Lady in Purple was sighted.

However, the Sedian Resistance occurred several years later.

Actually, Shujinko meets Hotaru and Darrius and gets involved with fighting the resistance well before the part in Konquest where he tries to attend the MK tournament.

I'd like to see angels appear in the new MK.

They can be the Elder gods' champions.

I find angels a bit more interesting when they subvert expectations and aren't purely good guys or servants of the gods. Like in Supernatural, they're mostly a bunch of douchebags who don't care about humans and are at war with each other for control of Heaven because God disappeared and didn't leave anybody in charge..

Or more relevant to Mortal Kombat, in Ashrah's Armageddon bio, they're just a race of glowy people who forge mind-controlling swords and hate vampires.

Wait... please tell me that this "Lady in Purple" is not that random character in someone's ending who that one old user, some wombat dude, used to go in a frenzy about, is it?

Because if it is, oh man, I don't want to know, actually yeah, don't tell me.

But seeing how some want to see an angel, HEY there's an idea for a flying character that I would like to see.

And a bard/bardess, can't go wrong with the music playing badasses! (Well, that's because my Dungeons and Dragons character is technically one so, yeah they pretty much are)

They can summon creatures, put people to sleep, go stealthy, heal, and boast courage onto others just by reading a poem or playing an instrument. A bard would be a great new character since none of these characters are a bard.

The Lady in Purple is an unnamed, unidentified character seen in the story mode of Mortal Kombat (2011).

Her notoriety was gained by her unique appearance. While the rest of the background characters wore plain Kombat attire, the Lady in Purple wore a beautiful yet revealing gown.

My mistake, wasn't in an ending, she was, as you put it, in some of the scenes throughout the story mode.

I just remember this character be widely known by one user who just kinda made a muck about her.

If any of these unnamed characters were to make another appearance throughout the next game, I would for SURE love to see the woman that appeared in Jade's ending.

Something tells me she's just Khameleon, and the crystal realm is likely her new home.

No enough with reviving old characters. Let's wish for new ones.

First people guess she's Delia even though she looks nothing like Delia, now it's Khameleon even though she clearly doesn't look either like a lizard-person OR see-thru like Kham did in MKA?

What IS it about the chick in Jade's ending that made nobody actually LOOK AT THE PICTURE?

I looked at the picture, a lot.

However, NRS reinvents characters all the time, with the exception of Scorpion. This could very well be a new take on Khameleon. If it's just a new person all together, I'd be okay with that, too. Still, I'd rather have Khameleon. grin

Yes, let's forget the 30+ old characters that have been very much ignored and out-shined, and let's make more characters that will also ultimately be ignored and out-shined.

NRS needs to fix what they have before throwing in a bunch of new characters.

I don't see how that woman is Khameleon at all. Her story had her trying to find Reptile so that she can restore their race. But when she finds Reptile, explains to him about how Kahn destroyed it, he turns against her.

How would Jade play into this?

And why would Khameleon have the power to see the future/other timelines, or to appear in people's dreams and possess them?

The chick in Jade's ending was clearly some kind of sorceress or goddess.

What about an alien character, Like someone who arrived on earthrealm during the time of Shinnoks invasion & is forced to choose which side it will be on, good or evil.

Also how about bring back old ideas as characters

Example: Someone said to bring back Kintaro so the can see a Tiger man in the next game right? well how about this below . . .

http://www.mksecrets.net/images/mk2/mk2-development01.jpg

Bring this character design back as an actual character & say he was a pupil of Kintaro so that should Kintaro die in MK10's story this guy can be brought in to avenge him. The tiger guy can be like the Skarlet of the game as a new character that would fit into the returning MK4 - MKD cast. Just a though.

The best explanation I have heard of the woman in Jade's ending is that it is just another incarnation of the one being and it has chosen a different victim this time.

I tend to like this explanation because

1. It gives Jade more importance in the story, and finally gives her a story away from kitana.

And

2. It leads to Shuninko having nothing storywise and possibly just being killed. Since I feel Shuninko is useless anyway I would rather he die (selfish I know).

Also I have looked very carefully at the woman several times as well. I've seen people say her skin is blue. I dont believe that to be the case. It was just the overshadowing of the realm which made her appear blue. I think she was actually asian or Caucasian in coloring though.

Either way I dont think she will be a playable character. She seemed to work through Jade if Jades ending held true.

Too bad MK doesn't have a Dhalsim, an El Fuerte & a Blanka.

Mortal Kombat doesn't need a Dahlsim, El Fuerte, or Blanka.

It needs its own characters.

Also, Tekken has a Jackie Chan, Lei Wulong.

MK doesn't have a werebeast in the game yet.

How about a werecat?

- His name is Byakko based on Byakko the white tiger

- A mix of white tiger & sabertoothed tiger

- Wielding powers of metal

- Once lived in Outworld as a slave. Thrown by Shao Kahn to a realm of exiles turned into therianthropes, for rebelling the emperor.

- Perhaps during Shinnok's invasion or the dragon king saga.

Werebeast...? They can bring in Nightwolf as a hybrid!

Nightwolf sacrificed himself in MK 2011 and "died". His body was found on shaman grounds by his pet wolves. The wolves felt a spiritual summon and raised their heads as Nightwolfs spirit embraced them. His spirit soared and shot into one of the wolves. The wolf became unconscious.... Soon later, the wolf changed into a beast.

They could also bring in a new shaman warrior....?

What warriors can Outworld have besides just Li Mei & Bo'Rai Cho?

And as for Earthrealm, they don't have a muay thai kickboxer yet.

Any more ideas? Please list.

From the supernatural that is... mortal related, we've seen...

- shokan (four-armed species based on the hindu)
- centaurs (Motaro)
- saurians (dinosaur-human-like species)
- tarkatans (human-demon hybrids)

Perhaps.... faeries? Dryads?

If ya'll want an alien/demon character, why don't we ask for Smoke in his demon form?

Through a hard fought battle, Human Smoke had sustained many injuries which led to death. His body was thrown in a grave and one night, a mist seeped out of him. Disappearing into the darkness, it lives without fear....
As Smoke is in his ethereal state, he makes his travels without being heard nor seen. He finds himself/itself in a realm of the deceased. As he is roaming through the dead, a familiar voice was calling out...
Ethereal Smoke approached this voice and found that it was Noob. Smoke was not aware that anything would happen if he had gotten closer, but...it happened!
Smoke in his ethereal form and the remains of Noob contracted and merged into a hybrid. Smoke has reformed himself into his original being....a demon.

I think they should make a new character named Korrosive. Korrosive could be a acid wielding sorcerer wearing dark green ninja suit that has a mage type of look to it. He would be a creation of shinnok and quan chi, created to be the general of the earthrealm attack.

Another idea is an earthrealm defender named Kollosus (spelled with a C or K, i prefer C) that can move tectonic plates and manipulate rocks and encase his arms and armor in stone. His armor would represent a rhino. His helmet would be a rhino head made on iron with a razor sharp iron horn at the tip, making a charging move available.

Allot of MK fans want sub zero back. A way to satisfy them is by sub zero's father hearing of his son's death and being enraged on avenging his death by helping the earthrealm destroy the netherrealm. He would not have been brought in sooner because he was hiding from the new cyber Lin Kuei. While hiding he trained himself in various martial arts. Also being more advanced as a cyromancer than sub zero was with one handed ice balls, dual ice swords, and 24/7 ice encased arms. His armor would have a silver dragon along his spine and the head being his helm. The colors and base of the costume would be similar to sub zero's in MKD.

characters i would like to see return are:
the mk9 survivors, both evil and good (of course)
new versions of original characters
undead and mechanically repaired characters (the liked characters that died in mk9)
