What were people expecting with The Pit? Did you think they were going to remake it AGAIN? Lol they already established its new look in MK9, idk why you people were expecting it to look a lot different than in MK9. I was thinking MAYBE some wither/showing some age at the very most, but thats about it lol

I will concede to the costume thing being a damn joke though. I am cool with the characters and stage, which I am already content with...but including stuff that people have/can already purchase right now as part of the pack is lame af

Bo Rai Cho and Tri-borg actually look pretty great, I'm actually pretty excited to use Cyber-Smoke for some reason. I could care less for Alien though and even more less for Leatherface.

It's also too bad about the lack of skins. I would have loved to have seen some Deception costumes for Mileena and Tanya but given the feminist shit NRS is pulling I guess they consider those designs too provocative.

I, too, like The Pit. I thought it was pitch perfect in MK9 so I'm pleased that's the one that gets to return. And I love the effects for Blaze and Taven/Rain/Hornbuckle/whoever he's fighting in the background. It looks top-notch.

Pit 2 looks fine, but its rehash; a new stage would have been nice. Farts in fighting game = nope. I am not going to listen to his fart move over and over. Might as well have Jar Jar as a guest character. Alien looks goofy. Triborg looks ok, but the cyborgs have never been my mains. At least they are actual MK characters, though. Leatherface = same opinion as Jason, which is just make a horror movie game, already.

If others are happy with farts and goofy xenomorph, to each their own. Pit 2 is ok, but I can see it in others games. Shall wait until MK11 to see if the series gets back on track. Until then, be sure to fart as much as you can because farts are the essence of what makes MK great...

yes i remember the greedy decisions capcom made as well (and i didn't pay a cent for any of it)

but the thing is, capcom finally wised up and now even their new DLC characters (6 of them and none of them are guests) are FREE. you can unlock them by earning points by simply playing the game or you can do it the fast way by using cash (just like League of Legends). Much more consumer friendly. If MK had a method like that, Tanya and Tremor would be played a lot more (face it, no one is going to get out their cash fast for them over a hollywood movie character)

Capcom is stopping the shameful re-releases they did in the past with Street Fighter 5. Street Fighter 5 is the only game you'll need for ALL future updates.

Pit is cool. Tri-borg is the best one. Bo rai Cho looks good. Alien is neat. Ugh Leather face. I don't like him but I'm getting the pck so I'll try him like I did Jason. Plus I like having all content from my favorite game franchise

Street Fighter V was not the example you gave. Let's see how fast you're allowed to earn this in-game currency before we start hailing Capcom as the conquering dlc king.

I'm having a hard time believing people thought Bo Rai Cho wouldn't puke or fart. That's kind of his thing, and I'm happy he's back in all his drunken glory. Puke puddle into fart cancels for days yo!

I think it is because they did not get the content they wanted so they would complain about any little thing. They want to confirm their decision.

Same goes for the irrational comparisons to Street Fighter V which was announced after MKX was and the plan for downloadable content delivery.

Regarding SF5: it's weird though that Akuma makes Tekken but not this...the crossover is getting ridiculous. I always wanted Predator but rather have only MK fighters. Crossover is a bad thing. We now have 4 unnecessary horror dummies. Replace them with Baraka, Fujin, Li Mei and Smoke and u have an awesome roster.

They all look like I would expect them to look. Nothing special about any of the characters that I wasn't expecting. Tri-Borg being sektor, cyrax, and non canon cyber smoke is disappointing. I guess it could have been worse if they did cyber sub zero instead of smoke, so silver linings.

I am really happy they gave smoke his harpoon spear back, but I don't like how it looks.

Bo rai cho looks fluid. Not excited about the farting sound effects. He is very reminiscent of his deception days.

Leatherface and alien just confirmed my disappointments of their inclusions.

So all and all, this trailer did not get me any more excited (which I am not at all) for KP2.

People have been asking for classic stages, specifically the Pit, for a long time.

Bo doesn't have fart moves, he farts WHEN he moves.

People have said for years Xenomorph lost it's mystique/scare factor after it's full body was revealed in the sequels.

Whoever said Leatherface was slow, obviously missed his crazy running, n spinning.

Personally, yes I did. Just as they re-modeled all the returning characters.
It's not that it looks the same...but that it is the same one. Some slight changes that wouldn't alter the "established look" would've been awesome.

Idk, there's no excitement there...maybe I've seen it too many times in MK9 and my eyes got adjusted to it.

Yeah that's kind of what I meant, I was thinking maybe that it would change a tiny bit to kind of show thats in been 20 years later, but some people seem to be upset that they didn't rebuild an all new Pit from scratch. Maybe its just because I was expecting MK9's Pit to be the one we got or something.

@Kenshi: Yeah man I love it. It will be my new go to stage when playing lol (sorry Dead Woods!) The Pit has always been one of my favorites (along with most of the OG trilogy stages) I wonder if it will have a stage brutality?

Looking forward to Leatherface. I played the hell out of Time Killers in college, so I'm eager to play a chainsaw maniac in a QUALITY fighting game. :P Of course, Leatherface is never by himself in any TCM movie; where are the assists from say, Chop-Top or the Hitchhiker?

Never warmed to Bo Rai'Cho; comic relief character in a game series that already has a well-established and much better comic relief character in the form of Johnny Cage. The fact that he trained Liu Kang and Kung Lao bothers me as well: I always envision them pleading with Bo to cease the lessons in Throwing Up On The Floor Techniques so they can learn flying kicks and hat throws. At least it looks like I can play him without his flatulence.

Waiting to kick ass with the Alien so it can perform the action that everyone associates with a savage killing machine hell-bent on propagating its species through any creature it finds- specifically, stepping back from a downed opponent and letting them catch their breath for Round 2. The Predator is the ONLY guest character that would do that... :P

The "new" skins sound VERY disappointing. I mean, yay that they're free and all, but I wanted a Deception Scorpion and an MK4 Reptile.

Kidding aside, I'm impressed. Can't wait to increase my fighting roster.

I can't imagine The Pit coming without a Stage Brutality. I LOVE finishing opponents with the uppercut on The Kove when I can.

One thing I have noted though is that they seem to have changed the official spelling of "Tri-Borg", to "Triborg". I think I preferred the hyphen to be honest.

I'm really looking forward to all the new hidden brutalities too.

Triborg is a new character who speaks for all variations.

I would also like to point out that I didn't buy any of the costume packs included in KP2, SO no complaints on my end.

I do why anyone buys skin packs individually anyway.

Because they like the skins? Or for the sake of completion. If everyone knew they were going to be included in KP2 most people wouldn't have purchased them separately.

Alien and Leatherface could jump out of the screen in full HD 3D and I still wouldn't fucking care. So done with guest characters, I actually hated the whole concept the second I saw Freddy in MK9.....and I'm huge fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise

Happy for cyborg fans that they're getting all 3 of them, but the fact that their are variations and not even full characters is insulting.

I'm also convinced that this will be the last DLC update this game offers, so definitely a sad note to let it die on.
