I know I'll probably be in the minority here, but I'm disappointed that the only "new stage" addition is copy-pasted from MK9.

Agreed a remake of the portal or kombat tomb would of been better.

I have to HATE on Alien's second mouth. It looks terrible. I watched the video on 0.25 speed and saw what's going on in detail , but who the hell is the guy who gets killed by Triborg ? I can't see.

So 4 new charcaters, 2 lousy guests no one wants, no one of the least popular charcaters in all of MK history, 3 new character skins, goro (had from the start), Brazil pack (never wanted and don't want), kold war pack (see Brazil pack) and a stage that is just a carbon copy of mk9s version!

Well I hope this pack only costs $10 cause that's all it's worth! I can't believe we have waited so long for this! 4 new charcaters and 3 new skins that's all we are getting! Absolutely incredible

Bo' Rai Cho is polarizing, but not particularly unpopular.

i'd say aside from the new characters, they're pretty much half-assing it at this point. Maybe they realized MKX has reached the end of its life support. Afterall, i think MK9 died a year or two after release.

Capcom was able to make Street Fighter IV last 6 years past release date with constant updates and new characters (they went from 19 characters to 44!! how crazy is that!!). The tournament scene was still going strong for that game as recent as last year.

i can tell NRS really tried to implement more replay value with the whole faction war feature. Plus the amount of post-release support the game got was more than any MK game has gotten before with all the effort towards the skins, new character DLC, and the free updates. And yet they STILL seem to lack in the department of keeping people to play this game. The Netcode was the main thing that put players off online. Personally what was the point of those Brazil skins? they could have come up with something more interesting than that tbh. With all that has gone on with MKX, i could see the MK franchise losing its steam if they don't play it right for the next game.

I'm totally digging what they've done with Tri-Borg. Rather than a single body that just phases through skins, which is what I expected them to do.

All the characters look like they're heaps of fun to play. Hopefully now we'll see a bit more diversity online rather than just constant Scorpions and Kung Laos.

D'Vorah, Erron Black and Takeda were the characters in desperate need of new skins. I'm guessing Erron Black will have something similar looking to Mad Max, anything is better than his stripper cowboy skin.

...they did that with full priced, almost yearly updates. If NRS tried to milk a game like that, half of the mk fanbase would march on Chicago with torch and pitch forks, or, even worse...start an online petition.

With so many new characters, Capcom had every right to release them as new games. At least they committed, NRS has been half-assing it and even more so now. They are so lazy, they won't even try giving us story NPCs as playable so rather focus on big cash cow names from horror games. I will go for SF5 instead of this nonsense. I'll see u all again for MK11 in 5-6 years..

Triborg. he is problaby gonna be my favourite, like him even more now! I love the pit stages they are my favourite! but this lame-ass-copy seems boring because I did not realy like this one in mk9. Hope the stage fatal is way better. Come on NRS, at least you should have made a new pit arena that fits better between all the new stages!!!

But I will wait for the complete edit to come out.

I think what's worse for me is THIS is the absolute best they could come up with to combat KI:S3 and SFV. 4 characters, a stage, and a lot of rehashed, already released content. Like seriously, NRS? That's the best you got? It's just SO disappointing on so many levels. And you know it's bad when the modding community is doing what NRS should be doing in the first place costume wise. I mean, look at this shit!

The funniest part of this shit is that Capcom was crucified for releasing the same game over and over again, now that it's all over and done with, people are clamouring for it.

People also praising Capcom for SFV, without realising/ignoring the fact that there are equal amounts of people hating on that game for whatever reasons they choose (the super average roster for example).

I still can't get my head around the fact that people are complaining about new content for an awesome fighting game.
