But WHERE is Reiko? Don't worry about my favorite characters, they're all staple/core characters that are playable in all the games, with the exception of Jacqui and Tanya, both of which are in MKX. Worry about your un-used favorites instead.

On one hand, if less people fight your characters, better are the chances of you pulling off stuff they're never seen.

On the other hand, if your characters hang around the bottom a lot, it makes you wonder if they'll make it next time.

LOL at the characters already behind Jason even with a head start and the fact not everyone even has Jason.

Also LOL at the people that only say Scorpion used by casuals. Scorpion was used more than double in the last month as other characters. He is more popular percentage wise this month then the previous month.

Sub-Zero's numbers have contracted massively from the previous month. Looks like people have dropped him or Sub-Zero players have stopped playing the game.

Mileena and Kotal Kahn have made big gains percentage wise even though they are still in the botton half. Looks like casual fans did not like them as much as others. The opposite of Sub-Zero.

D'Vorah, Takeda and Johnny Cage have slowed down. Kitana is just laughable though. The way she is going she will be in the bottom five. Embarressing.

I also just like being part of a small cult fan of a character, makes me feel special lol.

I feel like I don't have to worry about D'vorah not making it, considering her big role in the story.

Your fanboy inferiority complex towards Kitana is hilariously obvious. Not just in this thread, but on several occasions. Kitana is the poster girl of this franchise, she always was and always will be. Statistics like this will not dent her popularity. Not even in the slightest. She's not going anywhere, deal with it.

i think all of the characters are good and unique in they're own way. you just know how to play them. Because i have to admit, kitana's combos are much harder to pull off than mileena's combos.

I'm suprised Sonya is hanging in there , apart from me I hardly see anybody else use her online. But her ongoing resilience is especially noteworthy because Cassie Cage (her replacement) has soared in popularity,it looks like Sonya loyalists are coming through for her.

But as for where the TRMK poster got them: they appear in the ticker in the bottom left corner of the Online menu. You just gotta watch and write them down.

Honestly that's debatable. Mileena has been more of a poster girl in the advertising and whatnot.

I just saw the ticker for myself & the results I saw were completely different.

Scorpion was #1

#2 was Sub Zero

#3 was Liu Kang

Jason Vorhees was somewhere in the top 10.

Johnny Cage rounded out the top 10.

Kitana wasn't far behind Cage, #12 if I remember correctly.

However Sonya Blade, Jax, Mileena and Shinnok were towards the very bottom

Did the guy who posted those stats specify which system (s)he has? I have a PS4 and the results I saw tonight were very different than the ones I listed.

I main Kitana (Royal Storm) and Takeda (Lasher) primarily online & I've encountered plenty of other Kitana mainers out there. Believe me she's getting plenty of use.

They're PS4 stats from May 26. Do feel free to make your own list if you're seeing something different!

Dude come on. Be objective, Kitana is hardly used online. I've been playing for a month and I've only seen ONE Kitana player. I love Mileena but I could tell she wasn't used that much in MK9. Even better for you. People won't know how to counter her tools. You wouldn't imagine how much that helped me with Sheeva lol

@projectzero00- I've fought against at least 5 Kitana's online just this past week...but my Lasher Takeda has slain them all! Kitana IS getting quite a bit of use, she's very casual-friendly, hence I've moved on to a character that requires a little more finesse, but I still play w/ Kitana from time to time.

But yeah people in that thread were feeling Kitana but pretty much every thread before her reveal was people coming for her. Which is fine, its a game but his comments were definitely a reaction to what was said before then.

Provide evidence. The stats in the OP are from the ticker in the Online menu which clearly suggest Kitana is one of the least played characters. Saying Kitana is getting quite a bit of use is trite without proof to back it up.

He's an obsessed and delusional Kitana fan, he's just trying to convince people that Kitana is such a popular character in the game when in fact she's not.

I don't think I have played any Kitana players online yet (I haven't been able to play much in the past two weeks though) but even when I was getting to play I don't remember fighting any Kitana players.

I don't think there is one character who I have been put up against more than any others, Grandmaster Sub-Zero comes to mind though.
