Tremor is solid metal, Khrome is liquid metal and solid metal.

A distinction without a difference. Unless he's going to be toxic and poison people, there's no actual benefit to going all Alex Mack. Tremor can form objects out of metal, though not his arms (I think that would be a bitch to program) and he can command a molten form. Those are the two major mechanical points of "liquid metal." It either forms solid items or it's molten and hot.

Khrome has no point in existing other than the countless pounds Muhammad Chowdhury has squandered trying to make Mortal Kombat fit his aesthetic desires. The constant badgering of members of the MK team by Chowdhury has even made afew of them express a distinct hatred for the character.

The MK team made a picture of Khrome the reward of the April Fools tower. The team considers him a joke, and so do I.

i will be ok with this character if it was a new species like baraka or anything but a ninja. If they want another lin kuei, no thank you, im no signing this... BTW: they can make a liquid or metal manipulation in Tremor variations for the next game, i don't see the point in make this character. so yah, Khrome is useless and Tremor rules

I don't like Tremor so I want Chrome. Making Tremor as Chrome won't make me like him either.

Khrome abilities are limited and i don't want another forced and lame ninja .. Tremor at least have an interesting background being the first lin kuei who betrayed the clan, and search revenge against the black dragon after being betrayed by Kano ...

As someone who is, admittedly, a fan of the "MK Ninjas" Khrome is a stupid idea. Not only do we already have Tremor, who has metal powers, we also have a gray ninja in Smoke.

Khrome doesn't exist, nor will he ever.

Chrome has huge potential based on his ability's.

And yet it's still a joke. He was and never will be an official character of Mortal Kombat. He's about as official as Zebron. Except Zebron was actually created by someone within' the MK team whereas Khrome was not.

I'm not usually one to bust on someone's pipe dreams around here but this is just to the point of silliness. Khrome is a fan-fiction creation, thus will never EVER be used as an official character. The MK team have made it explicitly clear throughout the years that they do not "officially" take ideas from the community when creating characters, thus eliminating his potential. Tremor was mere coincidence because of the petition. Khrome has about as good a shot at becoming an official character as compared to Mokap returning as a serious, rebooted character.

When HankyPanky was banned here at MKO he went over to TYM for a while and went heavy into campaigning for Khrome. Even so far as to creating a giant PM and tagging known NRS dev's that also freqeunt TYM. One of those happened to be Lead Designer Paulo Garcia who, upon learning about his inclusion in the PM, had this to say:

"Cool, I have a new goal in life to make sure nothing related to the word Khrome is ever in any game I work on. Also someone plz remove me from this conversation list."

What is the difference between khrome and skarlet & ermac?

Ermac and skarlet are glitches or errors becoming playable characters thanks to rumors of fans.

Khrome is a lame ass fan made character that the only original thing in him (his power ) is a copy if the T-1000 ability

Ermac was something like a glitch counter that people assumed was a character and made shit up about him. Skarlet was a completely made up thing that people said about fighting the red Kitana. It's all made up by the fans the same way Khrome is as he was a different colored statue.

Khrome has NRS's support since they took the time to make a Khrome Kombat Kard, joke or not.

Ermac was fueled by fan speculation because of the term ERMACS found in MK1 and a potential coding glitch that made the ninja costume turn red. Skarlet is almost the same. Fueled by rumors of another coding glitch in MK2 that turned Kitana's outfit red.

What makes those two different is that they stem from things that actually happened IN official Mortal Kombat games whether on purpose or by an accidental glitch or error. Khrome was a mistake by a collectable company, that has no affiliation with the games what-so-ever, and the name and concept itself was created by fanboys. Thus my reasoning that he's never gonna be an official character, it just won't happen because then the team "owes" his creation to that one fanboy who jumped the shark over a fucked up statue.

It's the same reason we're never gonna see someone like Vorpax or Chan Kang in the games. They didn't stem from the games, they came from elsewhere.

i don't mind if the character is made or not by fans, the reason becuse i can't support khrome is because the only "original" idea the fans have is made this stupid palette swap ninja characters.

Again, i think you can make a lot with a character with this power but with Tremor having a metallic variation and seeing this is another lin kuei uninspired character i can't support Khrome.

Ermac gets a pass due to the mk1 glitch, Skarlet has nothing. Boon has said awhile go there was never any glitch for a red Kitana. I'm pretty sure people came up with her name not NRS, complete fan faction. Yet Skarlet is now an official character.
