Unless they copy/paste it all into the next MK, I'm quite sure they will do better, should they make KaK for the next game. I doubt they will make it though, but it would be cool if they did.

As cool as KAK was, it was merely a gimmick to get people to buy Armageddon.
I doubt we'll ever see it again. Now, what we may see is character customization, like in Tekken. Maybe not in this game, but possibly some time in the future.

Probably more likely, but one can hope. ^^
For Kak, even if you get to choose from a pool of existing movesets ala Soul Calibur for balance reasons, you're still forced to constantly fight these terrible looking fanfic characters and the regular cast goes ingnored by alot of people.
The other option would be to make it offline only...but then, why waste the resources?
I would hate to see KaK return.

I've made tons of characters on both Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur V, and I've never eclipsed the actual characters.
I would often make costumes for my faves, like Voldo, Isabella Valentine, and Tira. Even with Amrageddon, which I still have, Bo' Rai Cho remains my number one guy.
In Armageddon, that's all I fought. Everyone's created character. It was nothing more but a gimmick. That's all it was. Same with the create a fatality. And I thought that was even dumber than making your own character with the way it was handled.
No, create a character should be a one time only with this game. I don't think it needs to resort to that gimmick just to make more people get it. If anything, I wouldn't mind seeing a new mini game. Puzzle combat in Deception was fun, the only thing that made me kept going back to that game even though I hated it. I really would like to see more of that return than shitty gimmicks that aren't really that cool.

Yes to Tanya. I like the fact that she's always out for self in a series so marked by good guys and bad guys. Be refreshing if she did something altruistic out of personal gain. I think she's kind of a no-brainer.
I'd have no issues with KAK as long as it had its own lobby.
Tweeted Ed with a suggestion to keep hidden character trophy names vague. I'd rather we had no revealing leaks like last time, where we learned Cyber Sub Zero and Quan were in weeks before the game was out.

Yup I like all the Edenians. We need a couple more Edenian male characters though too.

I liked the online play, especially the ability to create rooms.
I was able to go head-to-head with fellow MKO users, and it was awesome.

IDK why this logo feels just like a hint and not a confirmation...i mean... a new logo and a spine should be a obvious confirmation of a new MK, but everbody knows Ed is a big troll and something tells me its better dont getting hype yet... inst it??

Can't wait to play as Jarek again! I wonder what his fatalities are going to be like.
I highly doubt Tanya will be in this one though :'(

I can't wait to see where the story goes from here. This game can't be a page for page remake of mk4-deception. No Liu Kang to stop the invasion only to be killed by the Deadly Alliance. Hell, no Deadly Alliance. I suppose Shujinko could still be at play behind the scenes to eventually bring about the Dragon King's rebirth.
Maybe a completely new direction wouldn't be a bad thing.
As for characters, after mk9, I'm not as worried about the newer generation of characters taking the stage. NRS redeemed a lot of their early character missteps, and feel very confident they can do the same here.
My one request...Havik
My one challenge to NRS...make Drahmin awesome(if he shows up).

This thread is mostly about Tanya right now. Allow me to bring up a small, but very important factor: The Music.
Can NRS please ditch the generic orchestral shit and craft some evil grooves that actually make me want to batter my opponent? Seriously, some of those MK3 stages had spectacularly shitty and meandering melodies.
Is Vince Ponterelli still there? He made some of THE illest 3D-era music.

I totally agree with this, the orchestral stuff in the last few games is completely forgettable...same with the ambiant almost non-existant music found on the character select screens since MKA.

Can we just have all the music from MK2, best music in a MK game ever.

I usually switch the music to the original from the first 3 games.

I had similar thoughts at first. I thought maybe this logo was a silhouette and they'd fill it in later on. But then the poster got leaked, with the exact same logo so MK10 is pretty much confirmed. But I guess June 2nd will give us answers.

This. After Deception the character select music was shit.
They should just remix the MK4 Character Select Music or something.

Definitly, but I really didn't like any of the 3D character select screens.
MK4 had my favorite select music, next to MKII. A remix of either would be perfect.
I hope they being back "Choose your destiny", another thing MK4 did well, with awesome music.
