Honestly, at this point, I don't even care who is in it. I just want to see a trailer and overall I'm just glad that we are finally getting a sequel.

I'm playing through Story Mode on Expert again just to refresh my memory.

If they would just upscale the graphics to 1080p. on MK9 and add the Chapters that tell the story of Shinnok I'd be very Happy.

I hope Tanya returns because she has quite a bit of potential. I love how she willingly betrays anyone for her own gain. I want to see more of it, however I think it'd be far more interesting of we saw what her endgame is or why she does what she does.

I hate that. People like that should get hit by a bus.

In all honesty I was never really a fan of Tanya. Hopefully if she appears in MK10 she will win me over.

Nitara was always so interesting to me, but she got the same treatment as Drahmin.

I guess I love characters that are on the bottom of the "NRS Totem Pole".

I know how that is. I tend to see potential in characters that others would rather trash.

I've been lurking all day, but I finally can comment on this.

This is amazing news! I want that fucking poster, I want to frame it right next to all my other MK posters, maybe next to my framed unopened MKT copy..

I hope we see a reveal trailer next Monday, like most of you I think Tanya would fit perfectly, she was my first video game crush haha. Although as a character, I don't really care for her.

No matter what happens, if we do in fact get a new MK trailer, I'll be happy.

Seems like the Neck Twist is the thing people like about Tanya... a shame that's all.

Oh I like other things...I just think it best sums up what her character was meant to be when she was introduced in MK4 - this seductress who was trying to lure Liu Kang to his doom just 'cause she was jealous of Kitana and wanted to ruin everything that was her's.

...And its absence in Deception best sums up her LACK of personality in Deception. That and the fact that they changed her fireballs from purple magic stuff to generic orange fire.

I did like the Cleopatra-lookin' haircut MKD gave her, though.

MKD gave her the look, MK4 gave her the personality. Hopefully MKX will combine them. ^^

Tanya needs that voice back. I corkscrew spam in MK4 just to hear her ramble "yaw my cigarette."

The things these characters say are funny.

Glad I'm not alone in wanting a good deal of new blood. If half of the cast were new, and half of those characters reached classic status among the fanbase, I'd call that a huge win, and it's something I'd really like to see them strive for.

I really hope they didn't kill off so much of the trilogy cast just to have them come back on the select screen again as zombies under Quan Chi's control. God would that be lame...

Possible Gina Torres voice role for Tanya? She did a great job on voicing Super Woman in Justice League Crisis on Two Earths plus the voice fits that evil personality. Just a speculation

I'd like Story Mode to be all about the next generation, however, I'd still like for the MK9 characters to be playable. Even if they just play just like MK9.

I love her deceptive and treacherous nature more than anything. She'll betray anyone to save her own ass. It makes her a total bitch, but also a very interesting character.

That would be cool to see some brand new characters. I'm honestly just hyped for a new MK. Although if anyone is gonna come back from MK4 I hope its Kai. That spinning kick move was the best.
