How do I upload a picture from my computer to use as my avi? The only other forum site I am a member of is ComicVine so im not quite sure how things work around here just yet

Settings>Change Icon>place link in bar>click Ok.

Edit: I missed the computer bit. I use photobucket to upload the pic then copy/paste it's link into the bar in Settings.

Hmm...I think you may have missed the humor in my statement.

With all the bitching about palette swaps, I thought it would be humorous to make it seem like that's exactly what we wanted Reptile to be...like: *isn't it obvious we want Palette Swap Reptile?*

It would be cool to see a humanish look for him, a look where hes became more reptilian and a full blown bipedal lizard look.

He gradually devolves over time it would be cool to see that played out.

I REALLY like his MK4 look, (not so much his outfit he wore, but who he looked)

Sadly, I think, if he appear in this game, he'll look similar to his MK9 incanation, which I didn't like. At this point I'd prefer him to be similar to his MKDA design, but it's unlikely, since many people hate this appearance.

Personally, I would've been glad if they put revamped Khameleon in the game instead of Reptile. But it's just my wishfull and completely unfounded wishful thinking.

Nah, I hear ya. I would have very much welcomed Khameleon in MKX, even if it meant Reptile's absence from the roster. At least the Zaterran storyline would be expanded with one or the other in the game.

So yeah, give me either Reptile or Khameleon...*under breath* or both.

Im a big fan of human reptile, always liked how he was a human like ninja who turned into a terrifying reptile creature for his fatality.

I loved palette swaps. Straight up. Not once did I have an issue with it, including Mileena/Kitana/Jade. In fact, Kitana having Mileena's Deception outfit in some of the endings warranted a "Yay! Nostalgia!". Of course I'm definitely not saying I want it back, since it's now possible, I prefer character individuality. I just never understood the rage against palette swaps.

And we know none of the original "ninjas" will ever be palette swaps again. However, if turning Scorpion or Sub-Zero green and giving them Reptile's moves is the only means of having Reptile in MKX. I'll take it.

I can almost guarantee this will be retconned. It was a stupid excuse to cover up them moving away from palette swap days. He will remain in his mk9 design with minor modifications and a revamped costume design. EDIT: further proof for my point is them retconning his human form prior to mk9 release. Look at my sig; it was going to happen but the gradual devolving story has already been retconned.

I'm actually with you on this one. I also loved palette swaps. in MK9 I rarely used the ninja's/cyborg/Edenian female's default costumes, I always went with the klassic skins.
But its likely we wont ever see another palette swap kharcater in MK again outside of klassic DLC skins. Which is fine as long as we get them :) I love nostalgia

Ah yes I remember this! Great job on the artwork! I'm not a huge fan of the bulky reptilian look. Imo, mostly because it lacks the mysterious vibe that was essentially Reptile's entire character (in the old timeline, anyway). I'd say just lose the raptor-like feet, tail, and have him slendered a bit. Everything else is pretty awesome though! I really dig the hood. Oh and green mask ftw.

Well now that I think about it, with this new variation system and graphics, they could give Reptile some pretty bad-ass moves with a tail. Can't deny that I'd like to see what they could come up with.

Yeah it will surely never happen again. I dont think many people would want it, and I feel like there isn't a need for it anymore.

HOWEVER

How freaking cool would it be it there was a super secret character left in the game that was another palette swap of scorpion. Whether he had his own moves or if he stole scorpions it wouldnt matter all he would need is a name and a new color and our speculations would start flying. Then he could be part of the next game as a full fledged character.

I loved his facial features in MK4. The rest of the costume was alright but I just couldn't stand the 3 fingers. I mean, yeah I guess it makes sense...but still.
