I Just Want Someone To Hold Me And Reassure Me That My Main Will Be In

Anyone else feel this way? The anticipation, suspense and unease is really getting to me. I keep imagining that they're just going to kill Mileena off since they've retconned her story so much and made her appear childish, but I also want badass Deception Mileena.

I'm not the kind of guy to boycott the game, but I would be really disappointed to find out that the roster doesn't include my personal favorites (since I was 6 years old!) and the more we get reveals and info without finding out about our mains the more it gets to me. Anyone else feeling that way?

Basically this is a thread where everyone just reassures each other and tells them that their main will be in, or that someone with a similar playstyle will be yada yada.

I don't mean to rehash any talk about how many new characters there are, just deal with how tense that makes us feel!

Sorry if this seems pointless.

I'm pretty sure my main won't make it, that being Jade. But I have several characters I like in the MK franchise, and I am sure one or two of them will make it. ^^

Big Mileena fan here. I'm a little bit anxious, but I'm ok. I hope she's gonna make the cut. Right now, she is an iconic and a fan favourite. I really doubt Mileena and/or Kitana don't make the cut- one of them is gonna take, at least, one spot.

The original female cast are reduced: Mileena, KItana, Sonya; Jade and Sindel follow them. I don't think NS ignore the impact in fanbase of the three main girls if none of them appear in MKX.
Mileena will be in as ruler of Outworld. I just know this.

Especially with the kind of personality that she has. I don't think I would like it if she is just leader like that and still have the child attitude.

I sorta have my main already in the game, but I don't mind having the kind of feeling on hoping that a few others might make it.

Don't worry, I'm afraid that some or all of my faves will be left out. Well, besides Raiden. I'm hoping that Jade or Mileena makes it in though.

My favorite and main character is Sub-Zero which is why I never have to worry about his inclusion. Counting bosses, Shao Kahn is another character I always want to return, though chances are slim we might see him back.

The only characters I really care for are SZ, Kahn, Raiden, Shinnok, and Quan Chi. SZ and Raiden are already confirmed and I am fairly certain QC and Shinnok will make the cut also. Besides, I am really liking the new characters so far which gives me hope for the unannounced ones. I have little to complain where this matter is concerned

I'm fortunate that my main is a mascot of the franchise, even if he is on the bad side of someone's obsessive revenge beat downs constantly. Good news is I love the whole franchise. I do love Noob about the same and am unsure if he is safe which is sad because I feel like his update in MK9 was remarkable and was well received (hell, he placed 3rd on one of the polls here on MKO in fan votes two years ago). I am thinking Noob as well as many other of our mains have high DLC potential if they are not in the main roster, but me thinks that ANY of the characters that were on the MK9 roster that do end up as DLC will have major updates with style, appearence, and moveset just to make it worth a paid extra. It just wouldn't make as much sense to give staples like Kitana or Mileena a minor update like Subby or Raiden if they end up as DLC...it will have to be more drastic.

Of course I want Ermac to make the cut. I'll even swallow my disdain for the dopey Scarecrow look as compensation.
But if he doesn't, I'll completely lose any interest I've had in this game.

Mileena has the IQ of a pretzel, so I don't think she will be ruling Outworld anytime soon.

I think that if she does makes it in, however, she won't be connected with Kitana, and maybe will team up with Baraka once more. That is, if he makes it in.

With the retcon of her being a newborn in MK9, they have so much to make up for and catching up to do with her...She's also one of the more pupular MK girls, Sonya seems to have been replaced, the others died...

despite the majority believing the dead warriors can be ruled out, I believe some will return, they can easily be written back into the story and even if not they can still appear as un lockable characters or DLC, I completely relate to that horrid feeling every time a character is revealed and it's not the one you wanted, especially when the chances are slim but you still want to believe, because you know that if your character is revealed you would feel amazing! I know Stryker will appear in story mode, I'm living on a prayer that he'll find a way to make it in as playable, with his successful comeback in MK9 it would be a damn shame to then just have him left out, I'm not giving up hope just yet anyway.

Kitana has a strong chance of returning as DLC, out of all of the dead heroes- she's the first one I can see coming back.

I seriously have 20 favorites... Now with D'vorah, Kotal Kahn and Terra/Torr being in the game, I have 23 favorites. D'vorah / Kotal Kahn / Terra & Torr / Mileena / Tanya / Sektor / Baraka / Reptile / Reiko / Shang Tsung / Quan Chi / Skarlet / Rain / Ermac / Kai / Kabal / Kintaro / Nightwolf / Noob Saibot / Havik / Kano / Frost / Fujin

I always have a few favorites in the game.

I worry more than my HATED characters make it in to take spot for other characters. Li Mei, Sonya Blade and Kurtis Stryker.

A lot of people want fujin and his name is always high up on polls so I'm hoping he's in or my desire for this game drops dramatically. My main is Raiden and he was already a certain so I'm good with that.

I pray to the Elder Gods that you're right. I try not to tell myself that she's so popular or that she has replaced Sonya as the poster girl of the series, because it might just be me fangirling over her. But I sure hope that Boon at least believes thatgrin

As for me, if KL isn't in it is in no way a dealbreaker for me. There will be plenty of other characters for me to use. However I still think KL's chances are fairly good. He was heavily used online, a fan favorite, and has a reason to reappear. (Being a part of Shinnok's undead army)

I'm the type of person who won't be completely sure about a character's appearance in a game until he/she is officially confirmed.

Mileena MIGHT be in the game, but it is not definite yet.
Kitana and Sonya are the main two female characters of Mortal Kombat, yet neither of them are sure to return either. Especially not Sonya now that Cassie might've taken her place in the roster. But who knows? No one on this forum sure does. We can only speculate.

Why is that a problem? It is only natural that people want the characters they like to appear in future games as well. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. However, there are people here who accept that due to the franchise's nature, that some of our favourites won't appear in the new game.
