Just realized Kano had the shiny heart thing in multiple previous games including pre DA, so not a Hsu Hao rip off.

The face model reminds me to a tv actor in Spain, Javier Gutierrez, that usually plays the opposite of badass characters so I'm not sure if I like the resemblance on someone like Kano.

Some dude in Twitter confirms Kano's inclusion and keeps blabbing about 3 different age versions of Liu Kang, Johnny Cage (YES!!!) and Sonya Blade (YES!!!). He also mentions a Jungle Arena.

Eh. I expected Kano to be in, but I'm underwhelmed at the fact that he's the newest reveal. I'm not a fan of his and I never liked his moveset.

Well hopefully he has at least one entertaining variation shown in his reveal trailer at GamesCom (I'm assuming).

I see it now. Kano will melt a hole through his opponent then reach up inside them and pull out their heart. Not saying it will be legit though.

Kano had that belt from across his left shoulder with that glowing red thing in the middle in his MK3 & MK9 costume and his MK:DA white costume.

I really thought it was Jax for a bit but... It's not a bad look at all. I can dig this. I may not be a huge Kano fan but I like this look for him.

Now, I might be the minority here but I really hope he's not Cassie's rival. For the love of god, I really hope there's an end to the whole Kano and Sonya thing...

I do not know about that since the developers are aware that Hsu Hao was very unpopular. Not a lot of point taking inspiration from Hsu Hao in my opinion.

Since on one of the pictures it says "Wrestling Kano" I'm going to make a great assumption that wrestling might be one of his variations. Eh? Eh?

This Kano is now strapped up more with a tiny tiny bit resemblance as Hsu Hao was, at least to me.
Like I implied before, I exaggerated, but at a quick glimpse, I can't help but to see that mofo. Especially the alternate costume he had.

Pretty sure everyone knows Kano had the across the shoulder belt with glowing red thing/chest laser, it's just that the MKX version looks like the glowing red thing/chest laser is implanted into him like Hsu Hao's was. It's hard to tell though because the pics are low quality.

Saw the Kano pics and i am soo very happy my inner child is bouncing around. I love the new look. He does look older and looks like to have grey in his beard

As for the Tag Mode return- I wasnt to keen on it before i feel like it missed something. Now if the tag mode returns and you and ur tag partner can perform a Combo Fatality, that would be awesome. (Certain tag team up)

Kira is/was unpopular and they still gave her fatality to Mileena.

It will end. Kano kills Cassie's parent(s). Cassie gets revenge. How many times I have to say this? It's a simple dull plot that has to happen, just because. Learn to live with this possible thought! LIVE WITH IT!!!!!! I SAY!

I wish you guys would stop thinking this is a Hsu Hao thing. If he uses this laser, that's one thing, but since when would he use anything else other than his eye for a laser? Wouldn't that be kind of silly?

That's not gonna happen. That's even worse than keeping the Sonya/Kano rivalry. Extending the rivalry for yet ANOTHER generation?

His hairline does look receded, more like MK1/Deadly Alliance instead of the Trevor Goddard flattop. I'm happy with it.

I never was big fan of Kano. And as for me he looks quite boring. It's nowhere near close to his costumes in MK1 and MK3. Though, I am interested why he doesn't look significantly older and what's the deal with his heart implant.

I'd rather have Cassie have her own problems than getting mixed up in her parents' work. I'd also like to have Kano have something better happen to him since I've always found his stories to be extremely boring.

It's one of the reasons I had never cared for this character. I hope it explains that over the last few years, the rivalry came to an end, doesn't matter how they end it, but I would like for it to end.

Of all the fucking awesome costumes I've seen in MKX thus far... Kano is by far (YET AGAIN) the biggest disappointment.

That reveal was a bit underwhelming. Out of all the characters that have been revealed.. this was one is a bit of a let down. I don't know if its the fact that its in a magazine, the scans are low quality, or if its just Kano, but its more like 'meh'.

His looks seem a bit.. boring. I think it's the grey. His hairline looks good? I guess?

NRS needs to drop a big character reveal. Kano just doesn't work for a 'wow' factor.

Just saw the pictures on twitter and Kano is looking pretty badass. Can't wait for his gameplay and I love that he sounds like another grappler character with some of his variations.
