Did I say we did? Sound's like I was just alluding to the probability of Sonya and Cage's stories being predictable and safe, if the last nine MK's are anything to go by.

Hopefully if we have to endure recurring characters EVERY game, something actually INTERESTING happens to them. Although "interesting" is subjective to all fans interpretations.

I want Reptile! Maybe Ermac or Smoke. We need more ninjas... What ever happened to Mavado, Hsu Hao, Bo Rai'Cho, Ashrah, Kobra, Kira, Darrius, Dairou, Sareena, Drahmin, Nitara, Kai, Shujinko, Mokap, Blaze, Jarek, Reiko, Tanya, Taven, Li Mei, Daegon, Havik, and Hotaru? They can't tell us that they're just removing them. If this game's storyline is like MK9's, then I'm very excited for MK11. MK9 was a combination of MK1, MK2, and MK3. Meaning that this could also be a triple. So that would be MK4, MKDA, and MKD... So MK11 would have to be Armageddon, so don't worry if MKX doesn't have the characters you desperately want. They should all be back on MK11.

Mileena is one of the MK9 girls I'd actually WANT to be in MKX! Since she lacked development in MK9, I'd love to see how she evolves in MKX and see how her story continues from MK9. She was standing alive after all.

Yes, I'd also like to see Kitana and Jade, and something tells me Kitana and Mileena will make it to MKX, but not Jade, but to be honest, I'd be perfectly fine with that... as long Reiko and Tanya is in instead.

As for Sonya, I know alot of Sonya fans want her in, but she is one of the characters who's had alot of spotlight on her throughout the franchise, so she can afford to take a step back and make room for the lesser exposed characters this time around. And hopefully the fans will find another character to fave in MKX... it could be Cassie, it could be someone completely different. I neither of my faves are in, I would do the same.

although the best news would be if they add Reiko, Tanya and shang tsung. then im all good!

Kotal kahns ruling of Outworld gives Reiko a storyline: he has always wanted the throne for himself and wonder if he took Kotals ruling lightly..

I would love to see some interaction between Reiko and Kotal. Either as Reiko wanting to take over the throne, or him pledge loyalty to Kotal and become his general.

There's another sentence after here that deals with story mode and the various chapters, I think, but I can't translate it.

The author said if the Story mode is similar to the mk2011 it might be you activate the aged characters after finishing the chapter with them.

I'd be happy to provide the original German as a source and as a resource for someone who speaks better German than I do, but I'd like confirmation that it wouldn't constitute a violation of MKO's copyright policy to reproduce the text exactly.

If it is, anyone who'd like to look at it could speak with me privately and I'm sure we'd figure out a way for you to stumble upon it yourself.

EDIT: A user with much better German than I have is taking a look at it, so there might be some clarifications and new information coming shortly.

Your Translation is really well done. i understand german language since i'm german :D but my english is... "oldschool" ;-P But right after your question about the missing part in the german article, i translated it and add it to your Translation.
