Cage + Sonya + Cassie + Liu Kang = Bad game.

Of all characters, these make it in...

No matter if my other favorites make it in, Sonya Bland being in this makes it all horrid, her face in the roster will ruin it for me. What would one of her playstyles be? Summon the ghost of her father? lol. Horrid news, I don't like this german magazine at all.

I'm glad that Liu Kang is in. But when they say these characters are variations, does that mean they will have only one fighting style?

Personally I'm ok with that. Hate seeing their moves split three ways. Overall, good to get some MK news.

I don't even mind Cage, Sonya, or Kang in it. I actually think it'll be pretty interesting to see how NRS has handled them this time around, especially counting that they will be playing completely different.

As far as I can remember, Sonya and Cage were big in tournament play, so I don't know why anyone is surprised they are in. Also given the fact that survived MK9. I have a feeling once they're revealed, they are going to silence a lot of people. I expect big things from Sonya and Cage. I wonder how they'll play?

Lui, well, I don't see how he'll be brought back. I imagine a Legacy-style Kang, which would be pretty awesome and his gameplay variations could be a lot of fun.

People need to lighten up, seriously.

I do feel Sonya would be a bit redundant with Cassie around as far as design goes, I but I like her and I'm curious to see how they handle her this time around .

Huh. Wasn't expecting to see both Sonya and Johnny back. I figured we'd get one parent and a kid.

I'm not totally against the idea, I'm just surprised we're getting the whole gang. My original theory was that either Sonya or Johnny get killed, meriting Cassie's involvement. That's out the window so now I'm mainly curious as to why Cassie is even a participant.

I don't really count Mileena in that troupe but Kitana and Sindel have nothing in common looks or move wise. I'm not one of the few trolling about Cassie's and JC/Sonya's moves being too similar but there are obvious similarities. I don't mind that, since it makes sense. I'm sure if Sindel was alive to teach Kitana as she grew, she'd also have moves similar to Sindel's. Especially with that hair...

Her. They have the same skin tone :P

Not excited with the news. I also feel that including the whole Cage family is a bit pointless, since Cassie already has 2 variations based on her parents' fighting styles.
The only reason I'd like Johnny in the game, would be if they played with the Seido storyline from his MK9 ending. Same with Liu Kang. Sonya I could live without. Way too similar with Cassie in terms of looks.

I'm loving this.

I can't wait to see the way they will develop Sonya and Johnny and how they will take over. So far, everything is looking pretty perfect for MKX. I think we are all in for a treat and a huge surprise.

I only hope they don't screw this up by not giving the Cage/Blade family their well deserved happy ending.

One of Sonya/Cage will die. Guaranteed, one will die in story mode to 'up the stakes'

If the infos are really true, the only way I would be interested to have Sonya in the roster of MKX is if she turns out to be evil. Seido Johnny Cage and fire god Liu Kang would be nice either. But I don't really care about them. Hotaru, Darrius or Dairou would get me more excited and I dislike them...

Obviously I hope not because I am biased and I love them both.

But. being biased aside, it is also not an interesting twist for Cassie, at all. Predictable boring madness to follow if that happens, for sure. No need to kill her parents to give her a purpose. We are all well over that kind of predictable story "twist".

I'm kinda sad that most people are slurping this Kool-Aid right down. This info is incongruous both in content and delivery to what we have heard so far. Not to mention it's coming from an obscure source. I've seen the full article scans and while there's some nice screens, that info is beyond questionable.

This "info" is getting a massive pass from me. You guys should be more critical of posts like these. Saves premature excitement/disappointment.

Regardless, it's done well. A lot of the forum threads and discussions are no longer redundant, and we actually have something new to discuss. However true or false it might be.

Not just MK4 and MK5, but MKvDC also went with the mostly MK1 kast. So its not surprising to me that LiuKang, Kano, & Cage are in. Sonya does seem redundant tho. I thought for sure she'd be the narrator, and can't participate for some reason.

His complete lack of tact does not help matters. You can not blame people for getting annoyed by this. I have already told DVorah how his posts can rub people the wrong way.

People keep saying that Sonya's inclusion would be redundant. Am I right in assuming it'd be because she's blonde? That's the least asinine explanation I can come up with.
