Good, hopefully Sektor is out too. I like them both but would rather have more post MK trilogy characters in the game.

That is too bad since Cyrax was very fun character to play as. I am extremely surprised that Ed debunked Cyrax so easily.

As much as I also scrutinize his tweets I'd have to take this as a harmless joke.

I think what he meant by running late is he'll be appearing not now, but later.

Rule #1

Never take Ed's tweets at face value. Unless he straight up says "this character will not appear in MKX" I wouldn't believe it.

This seems much more like him saying there's a delay with Cyrax rather than an outright deconfirmation.

Even if this tweet was meant to be taken seriously, it would be a confirmation of Cyrax returning. Not the other way around.

How are people taking this as confirmation of Cyrax being out? An imagine of Cyrax sitting in a bus, someone telling Ed that we need to see Cyrax, Ed joking that seeing him is impossible since his bus is running late (referring to the funny image), people at MKO; OH MY GOD, CYRAX IS OUT!! Seriously, use some common sense

Yeah idk if this is a definite "No Cyrax" or not. When somebodies bus is running late they usually get there, just later then originally planned.

Anyway I wouldn't mind seeing Cyrax and/or Sektor in MKX. I think they would be excellent especially with variations. Apparently they can put just about anything inside themselves as cyborgs so the possibilities of what kind of gadgets and weapons they use are only limited to whatever the guys over at NRS decide lol

Oh boy ANOTHER assumption...you would think people have learned by now that obscure tweets don't mean anything. I mean even Ed Boon himself said "Don't assume you know the roster."

If (keyword), Cyrax is out and maybe perhaps Sektor will be out as well, then I would think that maybe Cyber Smoke will return or Hydro will come in as the new cyborg.
However, if we don't see both Cyrax and Sektor, we'll be seeing one of the two.

I do still have a little hunch that Kitana decapitated Cyrax's head during Sindel's onslaught and prior to Sindel killing Kitana. I'm pretty sure the cyborg was yellow! If I have to go back through story-mode to see if it was Cyrax, I will do so. If I'm wrong, I will revoke this statement.

Prefer Sektor anyway.

Something tells me if Cyrax doesn't make it, my guess in the story, is that Cassie must've found him and must've placed him in stasis until she can find a way to help him be free of the cybernetics he's been placed on.

He can appear in the next game.

What? Sektor and Cyrax first appearance were in MK3, not in MKT.

I hope one of them makes the cut. And i think the Lego-Man in the roster speculation stands for Cyrax.
