I'd love to see Fujin make it in, but without the crossbow. Even Ed has said that he doesn't care for the crossbow.

I think Fujin would be awesome if he had a staff and played sort of like a mix of Aquaman and WonderWoman from Injustice. He could have those awesome staff pokes and crazy air dashes into mix ups. I'd play the shit out of that.

I wouldn't mind if he had the crossbow, but a double bladed naginata would be cool, considering if Hotaru or Johnny (Seido), are not in the game or doesn't have one (if in game).

If he had Raiden's thunder staff or Shinnok's long blade it would work for me. I love the bow gun though.

Yeah I think Fujin would look better with a staff than a crossbow. He shouldn't even need a crossbow if he is a true god of the wind, he should be able create ludicrously high pressurized wind streams capable of cutting or piercing an opponent's skin

I swear everytime Fujin is brought up, there's talk about the crossbow. Now I hate that thing, but since there are variations, it could work well here. So I'm willing to accept it just this once. But going ahead, Fujin don't need a weapon.

Wind is such an unexplored element, with limitless potential. I agree that Fujin should be a more aerial focused fighter. Give him air dashes, flight, and serious aerial assaults. And to whoever suggested he hover instead of stand, that's genius. It would really show that Wind God element.

It's not really that genius, as the person took the concept from IGAU. Apart from that, yes he should have it.

They should have in my belief.

Variation 1, Based off MK4 where he has the crossbow, his knee attack & can hold his spin move, & move around with it. Lift attack keeps opponent levitated for a free hit.

Variation 2, Based Off MKA with Devastator Blade & that gust projectile he had. His spin attack is used a forward motion. Lift attack is automatic.

Variation 3 Based off MK Mythologies where he has a hover mode. Having aerial attacks & can do his lift attack in midair. His spin attack brings opponent in. Adds torpedo attack & his Dive bomb grab.

Fujin has to be in. Since his name was displayed on the MKD title screen, his name being used as a voice clip in 2011, & the fact that he, along with Quan Chi, Shinnok, & Sareena(blech), was in a 2D era game. Albeit, not playable. So what's Goro, Reptile & Shang Tsung's excuse for appearing in MK1 as NPCs? Same can be said about Shao Kahn for MK2.
Mistake me for being small when I say Fujin is not a 3D era character.

I don't get a wind god using a laser cross bow.. I've thought it was out of place since Mk4. I DO think arrows would fit him though. If he had a quiver of arrows and sent them at the opponent with a gust of wind, that could be cool. He doesn't need a bow.

& They should give Fujin a ridiculous X-ray as well. Hell, use his desparation move from Mythologies as the X-ray startup.

Yeah me too. But look at the comics. Fujin's hair makes that little pointy curve exactly like how the white long thing looks on boot 6. Ed made them blurry so you couldnt depict details because if the photo was clear it would obviously show its fujin. I believe number 3 is either liu kang or someone new.

I never got into Fujin since I never played MK4, but I can understand why some people like him. If he really is the character from boot 3, I want to see what NRS will do with him. So far all the characters that they have been showing look great.

I have missed him since Armageddon. His moveset was really fun at the time;so I'm sure if he were included with updated moves utilizing his true potential he'd be a blast to play with. The tweet gives me high hopes of his return and I would love to seen Fujin with improved graphics. Thanks for sharing the info.

I did play MKA, but my copy broke because of special edition case. I had only played a few of my favs, so I never got a chance to play as him.

It makes me clench my butthole every time I take the game out, because I half-expect the disc to snap in half. I just didn't think it was possible for it to actually happen.

I was thinking of just breaking off one of those little spokes on the disc spindle. It's gonna be a bit wobblier in there, but at least I won't have to fuck around with the disc for five minutes every time I feel like replaying Konquest.

Why don't you's just use an different empty case? Or is it that the disc is too fragile?

I was very careful with the game and case but it still broke.

Yeah, I have no idea why they made the case like that. I'll probably get around to buying another copy soon but the standard edition.
