I like Kitana, but this above is not really needed as there are plenty of threads. In which they all should be merged.

When Fujin is revealed, talk about Kitana will be left in the dust.

Reasons why I'm certain Fujin is in MKX:

1. The MK Team's propensity for finishing incomplete concepts in subsequent games. - Happens all the time. Stage fatalities from MKDA to MKD, etc. Add the "Fujin" sample found as data on MK9's disc and you've got evidence to suggest he made it pretty far along in the planning stages before he was axed. Safe bet they'll want to flesh that out.

2. The events of MK9 casting doubt on Raiden's capacity as protector of Earthrealm - and I'm not even talking about the fanbase. Nobody seems to have any faith in Raiden anymore. When Sub-Zero said "Earthrealm needs a better protector" I knew shit was looking downward.


3. Fujin giving Raiden the stink-eye in the comic, plus Raiden's grim demeanor therein. - I mean, c'mon. Fujin knows something's seriously off here.

4. Years of relative popularity. - Yeah, Fujin ain't no Noob Saibot or anything, but the man has a vocal collection of fans who justifiably want to see him make an impression in a thoroughly good game. Fan demand for him has remained pretty much consistent.

5. This deleted tweet. Yep. Although obviously, Ed could be baiting us.

So, yeah. Raiden's going bonkers, likely down the 'Dark' path again, and Fujin's keeping a wary eye out and will eventually have to take him down and succeed him, reflecting past events from his Armageddon bio and MK4 ending, in a new and awesome fashion. That's my two cents.

Also feel like he could possibly be boot number 3. I could see him wearing something Shaolin-styled.

I don't know about the crossbow...Like most of the weapons in MK4-MKA it was such and random choice, I don't think it fit him.

Also, I always thought it would be cool if they game him a floating stance like a bunch of the characters in Injustice. We haven't had that in MK.

I'm kind of neutral about the crossbow. Yeah, it was cool, but he doesn't necessarily need it. I wouldn't mind if it was in though.

I just want Fujin to have a flying variation added to his arsenal. I'm still saying Mortal Kombat Mythologies was Fujin's first appearance, regardless of him being an NPC. He was the most difficult out of the four gods in that game, so why the hell did he have to be the first one to fight?

I still say that Fujin, Shinnok, & Quan Chi are NOT MK4 characters. That still brings hope for Reiko, Tanya, Jarek, &/or Kai.

& for those of you who didn't bother to click the link, I do not want Fujin acting like Luigi in the storyline. That would be segwaying into the fanfiction spectrum.

Not to go against your theory, as I do want him in as well. In the first pic that you matched to boot 3, it looks more like bandages and less looking like shin guards. That leads me to believe it's Liu Kang or a new character, but could be wrong. As for image 2, which was matched with boot 3 & 6. The shoe could be way off and on the other one you had matched the shin guard to the thing beside boot 6. I like to believe the thing beside boot 6 could be Fujin's hair. If not then it is a weapon belonging to Shinnok, Hotaru, Johnny Cage (Seido) or even a brand new character.

If either one is Fujin, so be it. We need the God of Wind!!!!

I like this! Having him float could unlock some cool move ideas. I'd be curious to see people elaborate on what he could do from this stance, but I see some potential in it.

I don't know how much his cross bow could be a variation, but it could be cool if done right. Perhaps integrated in to some attacks.

It'll be tough for them to make wind powers look all that original when you've got two telekenitics that levitate enemies, push them away, pull them from one side of the arena to the other, and Ermac had some cool floating stuff himself in Deception.

So yeah, I think it'll be a challenge for them creatively, but if he plays well, he could be a great add to the series, as he could easily play a large part in the story and make for an excellent foil for Raiden.

Fujin is for sure one of the mk4 characters I want to make it. I just hope he has a new weapon, instead of the crossbow. Hopefully we get other mk4 characters too. I wouldn't mind Tanya, Reiko, or Shinnok as I can't imagine how great the team could make them now.

Well my forum game shows Fujin has a high demand amongst mk fans.... See sadly it will probably always be mk1-3 chars that get most attention as mk4 and onward the mk casual fans, or casual fans in general arent famiar with many of the chars....

Anyways i hope he gets a chance. Fujin i find more interesting than Rqiden anyways....

As far as Ed deleting the tweet goes, perhaps we should look at this from the opposite perspective.

Ed is based in Chicago AKA The Windy City. It's not unreasonable to think that it was literally windy outside when he posted that. Then in second thought, he realized that it sounds too much like he's hinting at Fujin and deleted it. Maybe Fujin isn't in the game at all or will be DLC? I really don't think he had the intention to bait as he does tease but a lot of what people think of him being a troll is just because they interpret his tweets in a way that suits what they want and end up disappointed when they're wrong.

Except that contradicts Ed's form of trolling. Like that pic of little Ermac or his Rain/Skarlet tweet about Eminem as in Slim. He's pretty straight forward about who won't be in MKX. The fact that he played it coy makes me think Fujin's a lock. Also as far as the boots go, look at Boot 6 and then look at Shinnok's render from MK4. The logo on Shinnok's knee pads looks like the logo engraved into the upper part of his footwear.
