For the Average Joe it's completely irrelevant who is under the mask of Sub-Zero as long as he has his ice ninja to play with.
Besides, what many people are forgetting, after MK9 Kuai Liang's acvievements in MKDA-MKA are irrelevant, so replacing him will not do anything to his character.

I mentioned this before and I think it got overlooked. If this is Kuai it can still make sense, despite the whole "you can't kinda change back after bring automated." Since the damage received on Cyber Sub-Zero showed there's no skin underneath the metal, he could always do the Raiden (Metal Gear Solid) thing and obtain artificial skin.

The only thing is A.) Doubt it and B.) It would mean we would have to see him go under. Because you know, saying and not seeing that happening would be a huge disappointment. Despite I doubt this is gonna be the case, I'm still throwing the idea out there as a "what if," kind of thing.

My opinion is that it is wishful thinking to think either Kuai Liang or Bi-Han will be returning as Sub-Zero. Based on what went down in MK9's story mode, along with Ed Boon's comments about how Sub-Zero isn't just one guy my gut feeling is that this is someone new under the mask. I know a lot of people hate the idea of a new SZ who is not one of the two brothers but it's something I can live with. It's possible that the new Subby is actually the son of either Kuai or Bi-Han which would totally make sense seeing as Sub-Zero is a mantle that is passed on from generation to generation. I believe Kuai Liang was the 6th Sub-Zero?

It's obvious that its a new Sub-Zero. Its not related to the brothers but someone who is carrying their legacy.

I hope he's a good guy and can help the heroes. Of course clear Bi-Han's innocence with Scorpion.

It would be weird to reveal he has any family left to take the name. Unless new guy is Frost's son somehow.

WHY would it be weird? What reason do you have to think that neither Bi-Han or Kuai Liang had a kid somewhere? Just saying.

I mean, I'd accept that. As long as he's related I'll accept it. I suppose that would put him in the later part of the story with Cassie. He comes to get revenge for his father's (Bi-Han) death, and that gives Scorpion a story.



Obviously you didn't read my whole post. And Scorpion's story without SZ never made any sense. It was just Boon trying to make Scorpion relevant.

Okay so I just read the translations and like 60-70% I would say is just speculation. Just like what any of us have been doing.

It basically says It can't be Bi-Han because he's Noob Saibot, and his younger brother is Cyber Sub-Zero. Maybe it's a son of one of the brothers.

In fact this whole article was not an Ed Boon interview. There's an excerpt which is Ed Boon being interviewed. The rest is speculation.

It's just like I thought. This Sub-Zero could absolutely still be Bi-Han or Kuai Liang along with one of their sons showing up later in the game.

Alright guys, here's how I'm thinkin its gonna go down:

It seems to me that Bi-Han is some how back as Sub-Zero in the alternate time line of MK, and I'm also thinking he's back as a good version of his previous self.

Now you got us fans crying "but what about Noob Saibot?!" and "what about Subby (Kuai Liang the more well known Sub-Zero)?!!?!". But guys, what you don't know is that they are in this game, as the SAME CHARACTER.

Cyber Noob is Kuai Liang in his cybernetic wraith body being held under control by the evil sorcerer Quan Chi. We will have to see what more comes of this story. Should be great!

One would assume that there is only one Sub-Zero throughout the entire episode. What if it's not?

CSZ is actually my choice and if I had my way I would leave Noob Saibot alone with his connection to Bi Han.
