I kinda love seeing how people are throwing in almost every new comic character in the roster, who has their name said, despite that we've been told that not everyone we see in the comics are going to be playable.

I guess they were just referring to Hsu Hao and Frost? Not Jacqui and Erron as well as the men that were with Sonya before she talked to Kotal?

idk where youre reading the men with sonya are speculated characters.. but jacqui and erron are pretty safe bets to be in...

Until they die in the comic, no reason to think they won't be playable. The comic is there to introduce the new characters.

I also think it stays with 24 Slots and 6 DLCs. And the Argument what the devs said about the final select Screen isn't really one. They could mean the look of the select Screen isn't final and NOT the Slots for the roster.

Hm.. I think we get at least four new kharacters and seven old ones. Four from them are kharacters from the MK4-MKD era. I would go with those names:

My horrid thoughts:

Ok, i'm not happy about the last stream, I loved the reveals and Kung Lao, but the rooster still has only 24 spots + the DLC different colored slot for Goro probably.

If there are only 24 characters i'm very, VERY dissapointed because be honest with me:

Mavado - Doesn't have a chance in hell
Drahmin - Ed Boon hates him, no chance in hell
Rain - Ed Boon hates him, no chance in hell
Kira, Shujinko, Darrius, Frost, Nitara, Ashrah, Kobra and all those same 3D character from MKDA and DECEPTION - Probably never return.

Baraka - doesn't look good for him this time.
Cyrax - probably only a tower-slave
Sektor - I hope i'm wrong, but he's not a fan favorite so probably is left out for Robo Smoke BLEH!





The good chances are: (and i'm against 80% of them)

1) Sonya Blade, probably will be there just because it's simple to put her in, she and Cassie share some moves and this is the Streetfighter way where 10.000 characters share some moves.

2) Johnny Cage, because they probably need the whole cage-soap-opera complete.

3) Liu Kang, just because the fanboys rage and no game without all the boring MK 1 Characters...

4) Shang Tsung, to complete the MK1 circle.

5) Mileena, the only character on this list that i'll be happy to see.

6) Jax, just because they like to put in as many humans as possible, probably is full cyborg so he can replace the more interesting cyborgs (Cyrax and Sektor)

7) Smoke, has just as an annoying fanbase as Kitana, so probably makes it in, and not as cool Enenra Demon, no as Cyborg, because fans keep on living in the past.

8) Bo Rai Cho, just because he's a joke character, and dark MK suddenly needs some jokes

9) Li Mei, just to piss me off.

10) Kenshi, because it's easy to have 3 (Takeda, Ermac, Kenshi) psychics in the game, that is the way Ryu from streetfighter always works, and now it will be kenshi in MK10.

11) If we are VERY VERY lucky we may see Tanya, Fujin, Havik and Reiko somewhere in, but they probably end up as boring silent DLC for the fans to buy, these four characters are the most promising of the MKpastTRILOGY cast and should be in, but no, Sonya and Family will spoil it again and so will the family Telekinetic.

12) I think they dispose of Shinnok, but i'm not 100% sure, I hope he doesn't waste a spot though.

All other characters I didn't mention have no chance in hell.

For new characters we probably see: Jacque, erron Black, Ron Tan Cho, Kung Jin (I hate him already), Takeda and probably Bo Rai Cho's silly sister Mon Mon May, because Boon loves jokes..

And don't foget ya'll that one of the 24 is probably a wasted spot on a GUEST character.

So there are only 23 characters + DLC Goro = still 24 mortal kombat characters + one boring guest.

That could be Takeda actually. Like father like son. But I'm sure Kenshi in too. 3 fucking kinetics in one game. Smh.

Unless Takeda suddenly becomes blind, that picture is 100% Kenshi. His fingers are at his temples and he's not looking directly at the opponent.

I really wanted Kenshi in the game very badly!

Until I learned his boring-ass son has 100% telekinesis powers too, and now with Ermac being revealed i'm not so sure I want Kenshi above others anymore.

I would have liked seeing Ermac + Sword Kenshi, but with Takeda in the game it's too much for me personally.

Don't want the Ryu + Ken syndrome in MK.

I think the motion capture picture is Takeda, I seriosuly doubt both are in the game. The fact he is holding a finger to his temple has no connection to blindness. I think it's just a concentration thing.

You're missing the point. He's not even looking at the opponent in that picture, he's looking away which has always been Kenshi's signature stance when pulling off telekinetic moves since his debut . It'd make absolutely no sense (no pun intended) for Takeda to do the same since he has his sense of sight. Not to even mention we have no idea how he would fight, what he would utilize in Kombat, whether he'd have some of Scorpion's ninja capabilities... we know nothing except the fact he shares his fathers abilities and at this point in time in the comics, he's not blind so he has no reason for looking away from his opponent (which, off the top of my head, I believe no one else does in any of the games).

Add to that the fact we have verbal confirmation that relatives will fight each other (and thus far only knowing of one confirmed for the game), pretty much makes Kenshi a definite. I personally don't see Jax making it in the roster unless for DLC and that's even if Jacqui isn't a comics exclusive character. And on that matter, Kung Jin may have been created solely for the web series. It's still to up in the air and until we know anything more about Takeda or the way he fights, that is Kenshi beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Who ever the fuck it is we still will have 3 kinetics in the game most likely.

I dont get the difference gameplay wise as magic or telekinesis, its very similar in a fighting game, i dont see why everyone's jimmies are getting rustled over too many people having telekinesis

Should we have less than 2 people who can use magic too?
