Then how do you know the majority liked it? Show me a source which shows that the majority likes the story of the newest MK.

Well I could be snarky and say I can't link you to people in the real world and OFF THE INTERNET, but as it happens I don't even have to do that, because tons of people from other sites liked it too.
Don't believe me? Go snoop around on NeoGaf or Shoryuken.com and see for yourself.

So you say you cannot give me a direct source stating this. It's easy to make alot of statements without having any proof to back it up with. Those sites you mention are still only but a small fraction of people who play MK. So you can say that the majority of those sites like the story, but again, without solid proof of it, like statistics, a poll and the like, it is still just a statement. Just words.
That said, it's not that I don't believe you. It is usually all the negative fans who are the loudest, so it is easy to think they are the majority. But unless you find a way to know what the majority wants and likes, then there's no solid proof.
The way NRS and other gaming companies learn what the majority likes is to search the many forums, but also going out at different events and talk with people. So if anyone knows what the majority wants, it would be NRS. They probably have some statistics about what people think about Story Mode, what games were the most popular, what characters are the most played etc.
But without that kind of proof, it is just a statement.

MKO is also a small majority of the people who play MK.
And if NRS has such a good handle on what the people want, wouldn't that mean that the new story and roster selection IS what people want? You just contradicted yourself there.

I never stated what the majority wants or doesn't want. I asked you if you could prove your statement. Which you couldn't.
Also, it was theories about how NRS knew what the majority wants. Mere guessing. I don't know how they learn about it, nor do I claim to know. They might not even know what majority wants and just go by instinct. I doubt that's the case, but that's just me.
Your first sentence there... "MKO is also a small majority"... A small majority? Don't you mean a minority then? I don't see how that sentence makes sense.

Yes, I meant to say small minority. Typo...it happens.
Also, because I can't (or don't care enough to try) to prove something doesn't mean it's not true. I told you to do your own homework; check the reviews and read and listen to what other people say on- and off-line. If you don't care to, it's not my problem.

Makes more sense then. ^^
I already did my homework. I know. Just poking at you for making statements without giving up a source or showing proof to back it up with. ;)
Kuai Liang of Course! I freakin love this guy. I loved how he interrupted Shao Kahn's tournament, walked up to Kahn, looked him straight in the eye and demanded scorpion. Shang sent Reptile, Subby whooped his ass, and he then downed Shao Kahn's 'folly' tournament; demanding scorpion again. Shao Kahn seemed a bit impressed in sub zero, and I was like this scene is one of the best so far. Kahn then granted him his challenge. I was so glad when he finally whopped scorpion's mislead-vengeful spirit ass in MK9(MK2 era).
And when he was finally about to avenge Bi-Han, the Lin Keui came in and just FUCKED IT UP! "You disobeyed your directive to remain at the temple" my ass! No Fuck that let the guy avenge his brother. Hell he already said that he would return after. Then Raiden......smh Raiden, Raiden, Raiiden. "No stop smoke let them take him and let'st see what happens to the future." Raiden is a fricken idiot (in Napoleon's voice) for what he let happen. I mean yea they were outnumbered 3:1, but he should have at least tried to save poor Kuai-Liang
Talk about a bitter ending. Well at least Kuai-Liang got to see Bi-Han and kicked his ass instead of being torn in half by his brother and best friend, smoke. Amen to that
MK4 N64: Kuai-Liang's ending had me ctfu and rotflmmfao when he simply told Scorpion "ARRRRRIGHT...." after he was freed from Scorpion's curse; like he didn't give two shits LOLOLOLOLOL

I agree with you. I voted for Sub-Zero & he's going to win this tournament, he's running away with this thing but that's okay with me, he's one of my favorites ever since he debuted. Smoke & Kitana did very well, wish Skarlet could have gone farther in this but it's whatever.

And I am loving this! Since the announcement of MK9, Subby has been treated like he was Scorpion's punching bag. I hated that, but I am glad to see that there are other Subby die hard fans who might have felt the same.
Scorpion: Live well Lin Kuie warrior.
Sub-Zero: ....................Arrright....
I can't get over it

I hope Sub-Zero wins it. I'm fine with that, but that's obvious.lol.
I wouldn't count out Noob just yet though, everyone's acting like this thing is over, but it's not.
There are two people I did not want to win this, those being Raiden and Smoke. Smoke is a goner already, and hopefully Raiden will be next.
Also @Jaded-Raven and @shadowpreacher
I would say the storymode of this game was more in a neutral position than anything. I wouldn't say it's extremely well received or received badly. I would say it's somewhere in between. I would say a lot of hardcore fans probably didn't like it as well, whereas casual fans probably thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Just my opinion of it though.

I get what you're saying about the majority of fans and what they want to see. I was more or less just speaking to my own experience. I sincerely doubt that casual MK fans or even a lot of hardcore MK fans have Sub-Zero fatigue.
So while I know that it's highly unlikely that we'll see another MK game without Sub-Zero and Scorpion in it, I just think that personally, for myself, I wouldn't mind seeing it happen.
Voting for my main man Sub, glad to see him doing so well despite some of the people that just hate on him for being popular. This has been an interesting little game so far, and i must say i am kinda surprised by Smoke losing to Ermac, i thought Smoke would have taken that. Anyway no matter what happens its been in good fun, some people take this really seriously, myself included sadly, But the passion is what is important no matter how dumb some of us react to things going on.
In closing Go Subby =)
