Agreed! This is even closer than Jade vs Cage. The last 2 battles of the quarter finals weren't anywhere near as close as this. Just goes to show that the two characters are equally popular, I suppose.

I love the Noob story, and I'd be happy if he wins, but, for now, I vote Kung Lao. He was my dog in 2, he became my mainstay in 5 and 6, and he still whips ass as hard as anyone ever has in 9. Also, probably the best total of fatalities in the game. Both of his are amazing.

My vote has been cast but I don't care who wins. I'm pulling for Subz in the next round either way!

Kung Lao gets my vote, and besides, the original Kung Lao did beat Noob (before he was the original Sub) in Conquest lol :p

It will be funny and awesome to see this ending as Noob vs Kung Lao.

I like both, but Kung Lao is in my Top 10 while Noob Saibot is just outside of it.

Even in MK2011 I like Kung Lao better. True, I didn't quite like his story mode presentation, but Noob Saibot hasn't done that much at all in the story mode. On the other hand, both have great fatalities but KL's 2nd (Razor's Edge) is my all time favorite. Both have great win poses and look great, Noob Saibot has a better costume (primary one), but he doesn't have something as stylish as Kung Lao's hat. However, Kung Lao's gameplay is million times more enjoyable than Noob Saibot's and his gibberish is absolutely adorable!

That's just MK2011 and I generally like Kung Lao more. I'd have him in every single MK game, he's just too stylish to leave out.

So yeah, my choice for this round is Kung Lao.
