Although I slightly agree with you, but you need to know the definition of Troll. There's no trolling here. These people are dead serious about Kratos being in the game. Which is pissing me off because these said people are acting like he's been fucking confirmed.

Also, I went through this conversation multiple times when Snake/Sonic were announced for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. People were bitching like crazy. "AW WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS A NINTENDO TRIBUTE GAME! SNAKE IS TOO REALISTIC AND HE'S A SONY CHARACTER AND SONIC SUXX! "

How many people do you think ended up not buying the game because of their inclusion? How many people even said one negative word about their inclusion when it was released? How many people even recognized that Snake wasn't supposed to be there during the first days of release when he was a contender for the top of the tier list? Or when Sonic ended up near the bottom? Who still felt sick when they saw Sonic beating up Samus, or when they found an easter egg involving Snake at the Shadow Moses stage?

The answer in every case is zero.

None of this will matter to anybody when the game is released. It's just pointless bitching.

Smash Bros. is a crossover game. Just because it was a crossover between one company's mascots and now they added two other company's mascots doesn't really change anything about it.

Again, this is more like Yoda and Vader sucking in SC4. Although less so because at least Kratos isn't a silly 2 foot tall muppet from outer space.

There were a lot of haters, but no one said Snake and sonic were gonna ruin the Smash Bros mythology. If I remember right, a lot of those guys were just Nintendo purists. This is kinda different.

If you put sonic in a MGS game, then... well, that would actually kinda work, but only because Hideo is the Kafka of video game designers.

Of course. But they'd still need to do a lot more unnecessary work for Kratos for him to be in MK.

And yes, this hasn't been 100% confirmed. But I'm still going to buy this game regardless and will still enjoy it. If anything, he'll just be my punching bag.

I just hate how people are jumping to conclusions and claiming they wont buy the game, and getting all pissed for NO reason. Sony hasnt said anything about this, and then theres x-box fan boys who get pissed, again for NO reason.

People need to chill, its just speculation, yes it might be true but there is no knowledge and some people feel the need to go crazy and want others compassion because they dont like 1 thing, and that 1 thing isnt confirmed and they know nothing about it.

People need to control themselves and wait, there is no(well barely) any information on this, except for the fact that hes been mentioned to be in the game.( not By NRS or SONY)

Until there is some official confirmation from both parties(NRS and SONY) and actual details then you can talk. Until then you should continually bitch and complain on basically just a rumor.

He meant the formula of the character. Kratos is from an action game, so it's going to be harder to format his character for a fighting game.

Yes, but you say that because you're looking at it as a person who isn't a "megafan" of Smash Bros and who is 2-3 years detached. Trust me, when they were revealed it cause just the same stir this did. Crossover or not, other people still thought it should have been purely Nintendo, just as people think this should be purely Mortal Kombat. Adding two other companies' mascots to a game that's "supposed" to only be about Nintendo may not be a big deal to you, but it was to them, just like if I told them Kratos is in MK, they'd probably say, "Oh, cool" or "MK sucks" and not give it another thought.

By the way, Snake fits SSB wayyy worse than Kratos fits MK. And yes, Yoda and Vader in SC4 is silly from just about any perspective.

Edit: Temp, I don't see how Kratos would affect MK's mythology. He's not going to be in story mode. Link/Heihachi/Spawn sure as hell didn't affect Soul's mythology.

Well I did buy a Wii solely to play Brawl...so I dunno what differentiates between a fan and a megafan unless you absolutely had to post on the Smash Bros. boards, and I wouldn't do that just because those sorts of people aren't the maturity level I like to consort with (there's a reason MKO is the only MK site I post on currently. This is where all the grown-ups who like to talk story hang out).

But I was quite in favor of the idea of Sonic in Smash Bros. before it was confirmed. Snake was kind of out of left field, but I would never have been all "He doesn't fit, he's too realistic, Konami isn't even blah blah blah," I was just curious to see what his moves would look like.

Damn, as I was typing that I thought, "watch this assumption bite me in the ass."

And yeah, IGN's Super Smash Bros. Board was a cesspool after Brawl was announced.

I also enjoyed Sonic/Snake and was a big advocate for characters such as Bomberman and Megaman to be included, as well.

Maybe this is just a distraction. I mean there was a massive leak of characters yesterday, so maybe this whole Kratos thing is to make us forget. I really hope this isn't true. Nothing against Kratos but I was really hoping for this game to be a tribute to old school mk fans. Also he looks too much like Quan Chi just sayin'.

BTW this is my first post. Just thought I'd let you know.

Well on the bright side, if he is in the game, I can just decide to get it for Xbox 360.

Anyways, since NRS didn't say this, and since they've really been listening to the fans they probably won't go through with it. I still think they're just screwing with us because of the leak though.

I personally think it's awesome.

Just a cool little exclusive to throw in for fans. As long as balance and gameplay is maintained, it's a win for everyone involved. I only hope the reaction is the same when marcus from gears of war gets thrown in as an xbox 360 exclusive. Dark and gritty...

Anyways, I'd love to see Kratos as downloadable or a SUPER SECRET character. Give him some badass specials based on his own game moves, obviously brutal x-ray moves and a couple fatalities... I'm good

Saying your guy is gonna fuck two of the most popular female characters in a game is uncalled for and seems... juvenile.

I think this is pretty cool, I was relieved to read he wouldn't be included in the story and would just be a seperate playable character, otherwise I wouldn't have been overly stoked, I want the story to be pure mk
