I may not agree with all of your opinions, (almost all of them, actually) but that picture is probably the best I could expect for the MK2011 Sonya! It kinda gives me a Motoko Kusanagi vibe, but less robotish.

I still think this argument is silly though... Sonya's a hot blonde with armyish gear that's not realistic to her job. I don't think anyone can disagree that they've at least got that much consistant.

I would add an undershirt, not because I don't like the cleavage, I could care less, but because I think it would really "bring the ensemble together." I want it to be white too, kind of a throwback, but also to contrast the dark colour of the rest of the uniform.

I've come to accept that no matter the media, be it movies/TV/comics/video games/whatever, the sexy asskicking girl is gonna wear high heels. It's stupid, yeah, but it's not going anywhere so I'm not going to lobby against it in this instance.

Btw, do you know that PC is listed among the platforms on which game will be available in this magazine. It wasn't confirmed yet is this true or just a typo.

As of now we should consider it an error although there is some precedence for fighting games, including MK, going to the PC. I'd file this as likely a mistake but unsurprising if it turns out to be true.

I wouldn't count on it, but yet again, you'll never know.

Not true. This is the most populated MK forum there is.

People voiced their displeasure over MK:DA's one fatality per game, and in MKD the team responded by making more fatalities. This was at the express wish of the community. So voicing displeasure over something can have an effect.

Also... I refuse to comment on "world firsts" on Sonya in softcore pornography magazines... is this really what the fanbase has boiled down to? Is this really the direction things are going?

I don't think every user on this forum makes up even a respectable number of the Mortal Kombat fanbase. I doubt the vast majority cares enough to log on the internet and whine about Sonya's tits.

Perhaps not, but I WILL say that a majority of MK fans DO look up other GAMING web sites and magazines. I can see putting out information elsewhere to let people who may not see gaming sites or magazines know a new MK game is coming. But to offer a first reveal to some obscure magazine that won't hit a majority of your target market (i.e. giving video game news to video game information outlets)? No, that doesn't make sense.

Again, has nothing to do with this forum, which I didn't mention. I am referring to publicity in ZOO magazine, which is a "lads mag" from the UK. Certainly this forum has no bearing whether or not MK is marketed in that magazine, one way or the other.

I think users on this forum care more about Sonya's sexuality then people that actually purchase that magazine.
