OMG wow so this basically 100% confirms those voice clip leaks as well, meaning Smoke and Kabal are also confirmed, just by this reveal, awesome, now we're just waiting on Rain and Sheeva.

I love how Noob Saibot is finally back! The crazy moves from Trilogy were amazing, he truly hasn't felt much like a ghostly, demonic Wraith in terms of moveset since then to me.I love the costume redesign, the hood is a nice touch and the mask as several have said reminds me a bit of Shredder. I love his X-ray, definitely much different from the rest and more gross, but in a different way. Noob gets back his shadow ball move( though it looks to lose the long disabling effect, which is a good thing( could be wrong though), excited to see it return!

Ermac's special was interesting, something like a psychic choke? Looks amazing.

Jade looks even better than I had originally thought, love seeing her staff back and the trademark pink glow.

Sindel still is the best looking female in game, absolutely love her redesign.


OH and that stage must be the graveyard! One of my favorites, an excelltn updated look, it looks truly unholy and ominous, the level of details in their levels is superb, it's going to be very distracting playing through fights.

Anyway, as for the puke I think it's no big deal - if someone has no reservations about seas of blood being shed and bodies being mutilated and dismembered on the screen, why mind puking? Seems least disgusting, IMO. I do respect it that someone finds ripped hearts, broken bones and fractures palatable, but this has been the most original attack reaction I've seen (the X-ray, unfortunately, is way too reminiscent of Death by Degrees starring Nina Williams from Tekken).
Jade
The chains around her hips look so great! Don't you find the lace and corset a bit too corny? I mean, Kitana has it, Mileena has it, even Tanya got a bit of it in MK:D. Feel free to think otherwise, but to me MK:SM had the best designs for females of all MK games to date. Kitana had the top of her chest covered by a translucent fabric, Jade had the fancy hair pins now seen in the 'retro' costume, and Mileena had the veil that disguised the fact that her jaw is probably much bigger than that of other females (helps keep out the drool maybe?).
Noob Saibot
I never liked the fact that he was all black but this time he appears nicely detailed. His hood is somewhat similar to Scorpion's primary MK:D outfit (he DID have kind of a loose-fitting hood and not a tight-fitting one like his alternate costume). His moves are a nod to the Noob-Smoke thing which is quite interesting, too.

He's one of my favourites and I'd love to see him back!

Too bad the odds are that there will be just ONE story mode. Anyone ever played Soul Calibur 3? The story mode had different characters follow their own paths, facing the same opponents but in a different order and for different reasons, all of which was meticulously explained in the loading-screen narratives. The segmentation into chapters from MKvsDC dumbed each character's story down a great deal, and Seeing every single character INTERACT with others (possibly with different intro battle cries) would be heaven! Remember Kitana saying 'I am not so easily fooled, assassin of Outworld!' in MKvsDC? Wish she could always say that to all Outworld-born characters, same for others.

Yea he used it outside of his xray move also once on jade, But just make it blockable and not broken as hell and im a happy camper.

just watched some armageddon footage (played with him in Deception) and yea when hes ripped open his insider are blue.

At the end of this vid you can see some exposed sking and its blue, does this mean blue blood... he didnt do a whole lota bleeding in that video

BTW: Noob is cooler that what I though it could be, very good move set. I think they shouldn't give him the stars, the stars were a Reiko move who is one of the best cases for DLC as he was one of Kahn's general by that time, and Noob has all his real classic moves back!

And I don't know what I like more: how he makes the opponent puke or how he just let the leg touch all the puke. It's really weird and insane and I think it's cool because is like wanting to literally get your hands (or legs) dirty with your job, or like taking some "suffering juice" from the victim.

Just because I can tolerate more does not necessarily warrant fetishism. There are numerous middle grounds.

MK is not art, though rape has been portrayed in art multiple times. Rape of the Sabine Women from Cortona (painting) and Giambologna (statue in Florence), The Rape of Lucretia from Titian, hell there is a fighting game called Super Battle Raper - thanks Something Awful, I sure did need to know that - ... point is, if it serves a purpose, represenation of rape is okay. Depending of for WHAT you use it for.

That's not to say I want rape in any interactive form in MK. And there is a quite large distinction between using vomit as a weapon and rape. Agree on some parts on overkill. Sektors missile massacre is for me unquestionably meh.

In the trailer, we only see 2 times the "freeze projectile". One as special tag team attack (one level) and the other as "X-Ray Starter". And the second one, for example, is slower projectile attack compared to Sektor's missile.

I don't know if the "freeze projectile" will be blockable, but surely won't be free-cost, and will be avoidable.

You do know that Noob Saibot was originally going to be in MK4, but they decided to make a new character instead, right? If I remember correctly, the stars were going to be his, but they decided to make the new character Reiko instead. Hence why he has them in Deception...

but yea the little ermac footage and combo we saw were sweet. one of the reasons i love mk so much is there soooo many dope characters, every other fighter i have ussually one or two i like, with MK its tons.

NOOB NOOB question. Has noob ever had a truely origional fatality (not counting noob smoke ... or did they both have one ,,, shit i cant remeber, i rember his orgional hari kiri tho lol.

In fact is a regular move, he does it after the teleporting punch wich is the assist/enter the fight move, and then combo into sad faces of agony special move.

Noob Saitbot was in MK4

In MKT he had a fatality where he does his teleport slam a bunch of times and the victim explodes, and also one where he summons his Ring projectile which spun around the victim making them explode.

on a side note i just watched his fatality video from deception and i have a feeling he wont be using ninja starts this time around.

Sorry, you're right. let me rephrase. He was hidden, not playable at first. I thought he was supposed to be, but they decided to create Reiko instead and make Noob Saibot hidden?

Yes, I knew that, but as at the end the concept went to a new character, Reiko was the first one with that move. Noob never had them on his original appareances.

What I meant was that I thought the moves were designed in MK4 with Noob Saibot using them in mind, not Reiko. So if that were the case, they would've been his moves. I might be mistaken though.

Alright... so let's sum this trailer up in a nutshell??

We got the first look at the Graveyard.
Noob Saibot finds out about Sub-Zero being his former brother.
We also saw a glimpse of his intro, as well as his victory pose.

Teleport Punch (also a Tag Attack)

Noob Saibot's pretty fast-paced. A lot of his specials involve the shadow clone, but it also seems to be integrated into his normal fighting.

Noob Saibot Specials:
Teleport Grab
Shadow Grab (the one done against NW)
Disabler (also a Tag Assist, presented like SZ's Ice Blast)
Black Hole (presented like YSZ's Vertical Ice Blast)
Shadow Slide (presented like SZ's slide. Since opponent can come back to original NS, he can possibly continue a combo after it)
Shadow Takedown/Charge (enhanced version has the shadow punch the opponent in the face after the takedown)
Some kind of Shadow Defensive move? (launches the shadow upwards in a flip, done against Jade & Ermac)

X-ray: opponent must be at the other side of the screen for it to work?

Sindel's voice sounds a bit weird, too gritty... i would've rathered it be more delicate and smooth. Jade's staff being in her hand all the time is a bit bothersome, but the staff itself is awesome.

Loved seeing Ermac & Noob together, they look like the ones to beat. Both are not only distance characters, but the attacks that they have are visually appealing.
I think it would've been cooler to have Smoke in the tag combos to sorta pay homage to the Noob-Smoke team, but I guess they could just do that if they make one for Smoke.

Wow, noob is bad ass! Anyway, hes going to be one heak of a guy going up against. He has alot of derversity in his moves and makes him slick. His black hole is going to be used alot for popups i am sure of it.

Man, i don't think there is one char. i don't wanna play as! Way to go nrs way to go.

on a side not, ermac doing the grab pummble was awesome, stages look sick, and jade looks great!

And now the puking, really i don't mind! Its neat to see noob do something more diffrent with his xray, since everyone is complaining that all the x-rays look the same!

Now, i am wondering whats smokes, and whats jades.
