I for one are super pumped if the terminator being one of the guest characters :-) he fits perfectly in MK imo. Just picture it....starting with arnold T800 skin and that slowly being ripped off during the match to reveal the endosceleton underneath..oh damn! It would be awsome...

I think/hope there are 3 kombat packs. One of them is already official, so if there were 3 fighter packs of 3 characters they would say that in premium edition includes 2 fighter packs, not 1 kombat pack. So a fighter pack is a kombat pack with 6 characters. Derek said that they will support this game more than any game they have made. So i think there are a lot to see and things they haven't still decided about. I do not believe Rain and Mileena will be out. Too many people are asking for them and NRS sees that.

But what means support? Support doesn't automatically means they are revealing a lot of DLC fighter. It can also mean they try to balance it and have an eye about the competition factor.

Kind of hoping they get cues from Killer Instincts Chief Thunder / Eagle. Not as a whole, but a bit of the same direction.

People remember, when it comes to Mileena, yes, I'm sure NRS knows she'd be a HUGE seller. I have said multiple times across various threads that Mileena as DLC would probably outsell all the guests. She's a huge iconic character and for many she's the driving force behind the purchase of the entire game.

But that also may mean NRS is keeping her for MK12. We saw how easy it could've been for them to make Jade, Noob, Baraka, Kabal ect DLC in MKX but they didn't- they were determined to hold these fan favorites back until this game and I think that has worked out fairly well.

So for all you Mileena, Smoke, and Reptile fans- Don't think their absences aren't noted or that NRS are being jerks- they know they're going to have to keep people excited for each new chapter and wouldn't you be more excited to know your favorite is in the default roster and plays a MEANINGFUL role in the story of the next game rather than just DLC for this one?

So no, I think it's obvious Mileena is going to sit this one out and it'll most likely play a huge role into her return in MK12. Especially after giving Kitana her moves. Why would they give Kitana her moves if they knew she would be DLC? Just for funsies? Just to throw us off? They're not going to go through all of that for some big charade. Mileena's not in.

Let characters who rarely ever get a chance in the sun like Fujin, Sheeva ect get the DLC spots- I think they deserve it more.

Characters like Mileena, Smoke, and Reptile will never be down for long- they're the veterans and will more than likely be leading the charge into MK12.

I love Mortal Kombat. I love all the classic characters and storylines. ESPECIALLY Mileena. I always connected with her story. Being the outcast sister, but still trying to make something of herself. What you said made me feel hopeful for MK12.

Aside from Mileena being excluded - I also feel like there's something missing in MK11. Some of these character designs are terrible. Sonya used to be a sexy badass (Kerri Hoskins was the best Sonya IMO). Cassie and Johnny's sarcastic intros are tiring. I know Mortal Kombat always had comedy, but it takes away from the dark/mysticism of the classic games. They're trying to be Guardians of the Galaxy so bad. And MK is NOT Guardians of the Galaxy.

Also not crazy about these new characters. Jacqui Briggs needs to be cancelled. And Jade is just not Jade. This is a whole new character that they've created.

This is the first time in years that I haven't pre-ordered. I'm also not planning on purchasing next week. It'll most likely be a Black Friday discount purchase for me. Sad times. This is coming from someone that has been an MK HARDCORE STAN for years. I've been on this message board since it was MK5.org lol!

Hey, we definitely all have our breaking points. You can STILL be a fan and not purchase the game. I remember there was a time not too long ago where I was leaning toward not getting MK11 myself and I had people throwing tomatoes at me calling me "not a true fan".

I've since changed my mind because there are a lot of things I'm liking now. But I do not hate on fans who feel they want to sit this one out- especially if they're just not that into it. Some of your concerns I agree with. Why waste your money on something you're not satisfied with? I learned the hard way with MKX- I just was not really happy with that game and it frankly collected dust.

But like I said, fear not, MK12 will see the return of Mileena.

Although I fully expect Mileena to sit this one out so she can be the big return for the next chapter, that and this list of DLC aside, this doesn't necessarily mean this list is the end of dlc.

It's quite possible they may want to make one or even 2 more random characters for dlc if they want to. Nothing is stopping them. Up to them and sales.

Maybe and hopefully Rain is going to still be in MK11 but they could be saving him for a big role in MK12. We will see when all the dlc is 100% confirmed and revealed.

Kollector has Mileena's brain as a weapon, Kitana has Mileena's sai and several of her iconic moves, and several characters mention Mileena's death numerous times in story mode and intros. I think it's safe to say she is sitting this one out. That said, I will be happy if NRS throws us a surprise curve ball, but I highly doubt it.

It's very obvious Skarlet is taking over Mileena's role in MK11 as the fully evil character that was created to serve Shao Kahn, and Kollector is taking over Reptile's role as the creature lackey.

ME too... I am a huge fan of Reptile and Sektor because of the gamestyle they have. I just wish they would be in MK11 just because I wanna see what cool moves and combos they have. I don't care that much for the story. For example... D'Vorah is imo the best newcomer in MKX and is a small part in MK!! story but when she has playtime there, she is just badass as ever. For me is the agmeplay of the kharacter more important.

Well.. if I see how Erron, Baraka, Kabal, JAde almost everyone has their own personality in gameplay.. what could they do with Sektor and Reptile....

I definitely feel there may be 3 or so characters coming down the pipeline later that aren't in the codes yet. Reiko/Sareena/LieMei/Takeda were POSSIBLE names also in the initial leak that is turning out accurate- there's a chance 3 of them may make the cut later on. If so, that would make a good even two Kombat Pack of 6.

But we'll see. This can change.

The Terminator? That's a really weird choice for a MK game. How are crushing blows supposed to work on that? How are fatalities?

Yay, can't wait to spend another 600 bucks on a piece of hardware where it takes them three years of its life cycle to iron out all the kinks and release the version that works for a lesser price.

I think he fits better than many guest characters in previous games.
