HOLY SHIT! Three Kombat Packs?

I'm guessing it's 3 packs of 3, and the first two will just fall under the umbrella of the Kombat Pack, wheras the third will stand alone (and potentially get folded into a second Kombat Pack down the road if we get another 3) *Shrug* Who knows. But yeah, sounds like 3 packs of 3 based on Kenshi's last post.

Fighter pack 3

Holy shitballs

So this might be a spoiler, so I'm tagging it (regarding Goro)...

I've seen several references to Kotal killing Goro, but I have no memory of that ever happening. I know they fought. I know Kotal cut his arms off. The comic ended without ever firmly resolving Goro's armless fate, then Goro appeared with his arms in MKX. Now he's dead in 11 and apparently Kotal did it, but I don't think we've gotten a firm explanation on the where and why. I dunno, I feel like Goro's story had been mishandled and they're leaving too much of it offscreen, which is making it confusing.

Unless it is explained in 11 somewhere and I just have yet to see it. I haven't spoiled story mode in its entirety yet. Just bits and pieces.

I really hope Fujin & Sindel are in Fighter Pack 1 with Shang.

Once I get Fujin and Sindel, I'll be set.

I can wait patiently for Nightwolf/Sheeva.

If each kombat pack has 3 characters, then 3 x 3 = 9. That would solve our math mystery.

And, yes, a developer could add code to the game via a patch after the game is released. World of Warcraft does it all the time -- old files are removed, new files with new game code are installed in the game's folder. Only hope left for Sektor and Cyrax is they were left out until launch day patch, or a future patch. Imo, odds aren't good on that, but its their only hope as they are not in the Switch game code as playable characters. Only other scenario is they were left out of the Switch version, but that would seem a very unlikely scenario. As for Mileena and Rain also being removed until a future patch, sure, its possible, but, imo, odds are not on their side. I'll be happy to be wrong, though. Either way, getting 5 more MK characters helps alleviate my gripes about the roster -- I feel much better about it, now. Sorry to all Smoke, Reptile, Ermac fans, but I have wanted Fujin for a long time, and I am thrilled Nightwolf and Sindel are returning after sitting out MKX. Sheeva could be cool but I have a "wait and see" attitude, for now. And, we all know Shang will be awesome, no worry there.

But is Joker believable though? That's what's got me concerned about the whole list.

I'm thinking Fujin will take on some of Ermacs gameplay, Wind lifts, pushes and flying.

This is a solid roster. Of Course, is it perfect? No. No roster would be absolutely perfect- but it's pretty satisfying in my opinion. If this is all we get- I'll be fine. Sure, would I like a little Rain? Some Li Mei? A decent helping of Sareena? Totally.

But I'm fine. We have a well-balanced roster and this is all I've been wanting in these newer MK titles. Give me our usual suspects(Raiden, Sonya, Johnny, Liu ect), the fan favorites (Jade, Noob, Baraka, Sindel, Kabal ect), the MKX returnees (Erron, Kotal, D'Vora, Jacqui, Cassie), the newbies (Cetrion, Gera, Kollector) and the OBSCURE for us diehards (Frost, Fujin, Sheeva, Skarlet)

Reading the intro dialogue, I just want to say... while I still dislike guest characters, I accept that they're an inevitability, and while I'd prefer they weren't in game, I just want to appreciate the fact that we have four that can ACTUALLY FREAKING TALK in this game...

What is so unbelievable about Joker being in the game? Especially after MKVSDC and the Injustice games?

MKvsDC had licensing issues with fatality's in the game. That's why I'm iffy with the idea of this list being official.

When MKvsDC was made, Midway & Warner Bros (DC Comics) were separate companies.

Midway folded and NRS was founded under ownership of Warner Bros. There is no licensing anymore. All they have to do is decide they want to put Joker in, and if the execs approve, they put Joker in. Mortal Kombat & Joker are owned by the same company. (Furthermore, Joker has a movie coming out later this year, and we all know how companies love Synergy)

Speaking of Joker, I really, really, REALLY hope we get a more classic Joker. I hated his design in Injustice 2.

That said, given the expansive costumes & gear in MK11, we may very well get both those Jokers and then some.

Sindel/Frost fun bitchiness.

FROST: Which hasn't made you wiser.

I really can't wait to hear the voice actress for Sindel. Her dialogue reads the most natural of almost any character in the game. Jade's is good too.

WoW ok, so it seems Fujin, Sindel, Nightwolf and Sheeva making the cut. This is good news!

Fujin... well it is about time and I always love kharacters with element powers.

Sindel... NRS fixed the hair problem now I am really to see which hair moves Sindel get. I always liked her in past games.

Nightwolf.. was a beast in MK9 but I hope NRS make him more fleshed out with new and oldschool moves.

Sheeva... gimme some grabbler! She looks good in the story mode and has a little role there. So yeah, I embrace her.

So 9 kharacters.... with 4 guests? I would prefer 3 guests... but OK. Better than nothing

I think they could actually go 6, 4 and 4 considering how bold their DLC plan claims are. Guess we'll see.

After reading Sindel's intro dialogues, the wait for her will be painful. I laughed so many times. She's gonna be a snarky, gothy bitch, and I can't give Boon my $ fast enough for her.
