Aww... Sektor and Cyrax don't make an appearance? They had the best action sequence of the whole of season 1 and they're just gonna drop 'em?

Oh well, season 2 should be good. Now that they've got a bit more money up their sleeves (I assume) they should be able to churn out hopefully longer eps with more fighting in 'em!

While first season was good in general, but still left something to be desired, I hope Season Two will be better. I hope it will have better presentation akin to the best episoes of MKL1 (Cage's and Raiden's) and not all over the place stories like in case of some episodes in the first season.

In the end, more MK - the better. ))

I think Retile will not appear in the series, because it will be to hard to create him for relatively cheap web-series. Too much make-up or CGI.

It may be a lower budget, but it still has a budget. The cyborg battle looked pretty damn impressive. I doubt cost would be the reason for Reptile not appearing.

If the season 2 is about tournament,then going it without Goro and Reptile is not right. I think Goro will still be in,because a while back Kevin asked how he should do him: CGI or makeup.

That's great news! I thought we are gonna just have the movie,but more MK the better. Kabal is apparently gonna be in the movie.

I have a theory that since Season 2 will be about the tournament,the movie will just skip Outworld tounament (even though MK2 is my favorite game) and be about the invasion of Earthrealm. Especially with Kabal being in the script and Cyrax and Sektor not appearing in the Season 2. It kinda makes sense to me. And I think they will be connected plot wise.

Now I am just waiting for the casting.

So excited for this! I'm glad Mortal Kombat is finally making a return to live-action television and film.

I liked what Kevin T. did with the Mortal Kombat Legacy series. Can't wait for season 2. I'm a little concerned how season 2 will correlate with the film but am hoping that they both are successful.

From the look of it cyborgs battle was where they spend most of their special effects money. I liked it, But I want the whole series to have a good quality, not only few episodes, because money were spent on impressive CGI in one or two episodes.

I can't say i really enjoyed the first one. To me it was just ok, even for a cheap web series. Not sure what I really expected tho. As for this, meh, can't say I'm really excited. I don't think KT and co. know what they're doing. To me most of the action sequences felt really bland and uninspired in terms of choreography. Like the Jax vs Kano fight, or even the johnny cage ones. Its like watching a fight scene from Walker Texas Ranger. I think they could do much better since they're using real martial artists and whatnot. Not to mention the areas where they just completely dropped the ball, like the baraka trolls, shao kahn's portrayal, the extremely short length that makes all the transitions really forced and awkward (i.e Scorpion's death and resurrection).

I dunno tho, maybe I'm being too hard on it since it is just a web series. I haven't seen many web series before (if any?) so I can't say I know what to expect from the medium. I also don't wanna completely shit on this before I see it so I'll probably still check out the trailer and first few episodes and hope to sweet baby jesus Ermac comes out badass.

There should be,because it is canon thing from the games. But of course it should be done with taste. i actually like how MK9 presented both Sonya/Johnny and Kitana/Liu. Sure,it was sometimes cheesy,but overall I think NRS delivered.

I would rather they totally cut it from the story. At least the latest MK game made it very subtle and non-cheesy. I hope Tancharoen won't make a big deal out of it.

To what extend do you guys want the Liu Kang/Kitana romance to go to? Do you want it to be subtle hints like in the latest MK game or do you want it to be a cheesy romance like in the first movie?

i like the sublty right now as of this reboot game but the relationship needs to develop as time progresses...it cant just be subtle as MK time progresses...like the OG timeline.

eventually these two need to take it a step further (in a believable way, but a step further none the less).

i know that romance is the typical "hero gets the girl" thing but that tradition isnt changing anytime soon... so mind as well just get ready for it.

i like the pair, i really do, but it needs work; work its not getting. hopefully this time around, they can do much better with it... mk9 was a good start...till they died, lol but they'll be back...


as far as it goes in legacy, if Kevin decides to bring that canon into legacy, yea i would like to see it subtle cause that only makes sense at that point in time but the same thing must apply; as time goes along...its needs to break away from that 'grade school crush' and develop more into an actual relationship as it needs to in the game. now HOW? with the circumstances right now? well thats up to the writers and all it needs is a GOOD writer to do it but its possible and it could work... of that im certain.

id like to see ALL the mkcouples do something, SonyaXJohnny and SubXSareena(i really want those two to hit it off this go around in the game, they seem perfect!) IMO.
i think Sareena is gonna be in MKX, i can feel it....

Actually, that tradition was broken already in MK4. In Liu Kang's ending, Kitana shows up and offers him a place at her side as king of Edenia. She more or less proposes to him... and he says no. He would rather stay in Earthrealm than to be with Kitana.
