I am going by what some of us are looking for in a kombatent.

Plausibility is one of them. It is fact that the moon is dead apart from a small icy river on it. No oxygen or is there any cheese. Let alone the lack of gravity.

So the only thing I am worried about is voters will take "interestingly funny" over "plausibility" and a character that could be classed as an "MK character".

Your character is good!! But I don't see him fitting into the "seriousness" of the MK universe. Moon cheese? I can't take that serious.


I think that playtime might be over to let the seriousness of this competition show.

How do you know there's not cheese on the moon? Have YOU ever been there???? And don't say "If there was cheese on the moon the astronauts would've brought it back!" That whole moonlanding thing was a hoax.




All kidding aside, I just read Shoulen and I have to say very well done! You had been talking a lot of smack and I almost wished your character was utter garbage, but he's actually one of the best I've seen.

Thanks for your take on my character. I don't like to think I have been talking smack at all! I just look for plausibility in characters.

As for no cheese on the moon, well... for there to be cheese, there had to be animals that produce milk. There is no animal's that could live on the moon due to no atmosphere for oxygen plus lack of gravity. These are facts of the real world and the moon where he has based his character(s).

I am just playing it serious to be honest. I'm a sucker for it.

Let's not forget about the plausibility of a guy from another dimension who can shapeshift his arms. And then there's a lizard-man. Not to mention a ghost-ninja. Oh, and a guy who manipulates ice! Also, Mortal Kombat and seriousness? Have you played the series? Like, for reals?

And besides, in Mortal Kombat EVERYTHING can be explained away with sorcery.

You still have to keep within the boundaries and laws of "gravity" so to speak. We all know that space has NO oxygen. And that the moon is as dead as a dodo or there would be any sort of plant life.

For characters of Earth realm must take these boundaries into consideration. As for other worldly being... We can only go by what knowledge we have been shown and told through the games and it's stories. But just as long as a characters show plausibility withing whatever dimension, then all should be fine.

Don't worry too much about that. I like the crab dude but there has to be a point where you gotta vote for a serious character over a joke character. You'll get my vote man.

You are probably aware that our characters will face off in the 2nd round and I want to ask you if it is okay to draw them dunking it out :D I feel really inspired by the similarities in our characters and I honestly believe that they will make excellent rivals.

I have had my character run through with a comb, and from I have been told, my bio is not deep enough. But I have typed out a much longer version attached to what is already there. So I haven't altered anything that you have already seen.

I have also added a "mid ending". Like the MK story mode where Liu Kang beats Shang Tsung. I have done something like this that leads up to Shoulen's un-altered ending.

I guess I have gone down the story mode route rather than the arcade route. If anyone wants to read the extra, then I can post it.

I for one despise characters that are too serious. They're just so grumpy because of the death of whoever and their super serious super powers and super big vengeance rage.

Also, who says the crab people even breathe oxygen? Maybe they've evolved to the point of not having to breathe, hehehe, and they farm cheese in some obscure cavern system on the moon that we've never seen before with all our fancy space technology.

If we can have Gods that turn into glowy dragons, then we can have Dr. Zoidberg living on the moon. Woop woop woop woop woop woop woop woop woop woop!!!! Oh dear, I've gone insane. XD

Honestly, though, I think you're being too hard on this character and need to back off now. We don't need to snipe the competition.
If there are other dimensions with outlandish races, then there can be crabs on the moon.
If there are crabs on the moon, then there is probably crab cattle on the moon.
And if there is crab cattle on the moon, then there is crab cheese on the moon.
This may have been the single most ridiculous series of statements I have ever made, hehehe.... No, probably not... I speak nonsense regularly.
